The Catacombs of St. Heathen’s
What is “The Levels”:
The Levels are a dimension that exists outside of reality and can be accessed through death or Chime Points. The Main Level is where you would normally end up when first getting there. Very foggy and the locations inside are set outdoors (cities or vast fields). There are entities in The Main Level that are almost impossible to kill, and if killed by them you turn into them.
What are “Chime Points?”:
Chime Points are places in the living world in a bunch of universes where people can enter The Levels without dying, most of the time leading to the main level, but in very rare cases will lead to the second level. They are called Chime Points because when you are in the vicinity of one you will start hearing wind chimes, even though there aren’t any around. The pitch of the chimes indicates how dangerous the area is beyond the Chime Point.
What is “The Second Level”?:
If you die while in The Main Level (if you got there through death, and not using a Chime Point) through causes outside of being killed by an entity. You will be sent here as a “second chance” of sorts. You do not loose your memories of your life in the main level when you die and go down there. There is no way for people who live on the main level to enter the second one without dying, so the average person who is living in the main level will not know of the second level, most believe it to be a myth.
When you end up in the second level your body with morph and distort to become more monsterly and creature like, and it’s random for each person who ends up down there.
The second level contrasts from the main due to it being fairly dark all the time and the sections being mostly closed in spaces rather than being out in the open (For example: Abandoned Hospitals, Catacombs, Sewers ect.)
The Catacombs of St. Heathen’s Story:
A woman by the name of Roxanne Wilder is called by a friend to go explore a ghost town in the shores of Newfoundland, Canada named “St. Heathen’s”. When she gets there she ends up entering an old bunker in which she hears deep chimes coming from, and when entering she finds herself in what seems to be a dark and foggy catacombs, that feels impossibly big. She’ll meet monsters like never seen on Earth, make new allies, and find out mysteries that lurk within this new world known as “The Levels”

“Roxanne is an expert explorer, specifically in abandoned locations. She gets a call from her childhood best friend “Cyrus EverEye” about the ghost town of St. Heathens, and as she explores she accidentally ends up within the second level without realizing it. Down there when almost attacked by a monster she is saved by a man named “Oliver”…”
Oliver
Age: ??? (+5 year in The Main Level, +10 years in the second level)
Height: 6’0”
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Species (Previously): -Unknown-
“Oliver entered The Main Level in about the M.C.Y (Multiversal Calendar Year, which is connected to the actual year here in real life) of 2009. He would die due to a fire from another survivor betraying him and leaving him for dead. Oliver woke up in the second level and began to transform, his mouth splitting, a tail growing and also growing a new mouth on the end of it, his forearms and fingers extending, and his feet changing into bird like feet rather than humanoid. Oliver would survive alone in the second level having severe trust issues until about 10 years later he would save the life of Roxanne, someone from outside The Level’s”
Also, Oliver has discovered a way to get back up to the first level, he is still “registered” to the second level, but he can still go up to the first level from time to time for supplies or as an escape route.
