I need tiktokers to understand that ao3 has been home for the freaks (affectionate) ever since the day it was created. the entire site was created because “dark and fucked up fics” were banned and removed from other platforms, so us freaks came together and created a site for other freaks — a site where nothing is censored, a site with no algorithm, no capitalism, no ads, and again, absolutely no censorship.
this has been our house for decades. you newbies don’t come into our house and tell us how to arrange our furniture. either be nice and respect our house, or leave and build your own house elsewhere.

When you fall into a new hyperfixation but haven't found any good songs to maladaptive daydream to so it tries to encroach on songs already taken by another hyperfixation.
Worse when you're only somewhat deep in the lore and you're in the awkward middle point of fearing for spoilers and still confused on 90% of the memes and lore.
I hate how bot comments on ao3 are making more and more writers disable their comments and lock their works so that only people with registered accounts can access their works (because while some of these bots are from registered accounts and therefore locking your fics won’t guarantee that you will be safe from them, a lot of them are commenting as guest users so locking fics helps a little), because there are so many genuine readers who read and comment on fics without having their own registered accounts.
these bots are not only annoying and harmful (if you fell for their lies and gave them money, an access to your personal informations), they’re also keeping artists and art from genuine audiences and destroying the community artists built with their audiences.
this is a post to say fuck you every bot out there.

Since you write Kenichi. Maybe something sort of AU in it of Shigure, Renka and Miu being childhood friends? Since the younger two are like the prodigious students of the non-killing Martial Art school Grand Master and Shigure is the youngest Grand Master at like 19 or early 20s. Something about her being their "big sister" style friend could be cute. If you don't want to write a whole short story, headcanons are cool too. But I'd prefer the short story.

So yeah I'm gonna be right back with this idea taken in account with my own creative liberties because I love creating fun ideas like this because these things are stuff i could not come up with myself and that's amazing we can be so unique in our thought processes.

So I was listening to Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous (fucking love that song) while pacing in circles coming up with animations I'll never do in my head (cuz that's what all good fanfic writers do), specifically one piece since I've been writing my fic for it for a while now, and i came up with this evil idea related to the Celestial Dragons. TIME TO MAKE THEM SUFFER BITCH-

TLDR: Celestial Dragon gets lost, rescued by pirates, lives with them and realizes the Celestial Dragons are spoiled little shits, returns with a new better mindset, and causes fucking havoc in the system as the Celestial Dragon begins to fix the system from the inside. I love this idea istg-
OK, so...
Sometime before timeskip, in this case the Sabaody arc, though it could be anytime, Luffy and gang screw up the slave auction house, yes??
So, what if in that chaos, something happens to a celestial dragon that leaves them lost and alone, while their other celestial dragon companions abandon them because they don't realize they're one of them.
So now this Celestial Dragon is left alone, lost, and no one realizes they're a celestial dragon and won't believe them when they say they are.
They get mugged within a day, and a PIRATE CREW saves them. In this case it's the Adventurers of the Sea cuz this is an idea for my AU, but it could be any interchangeable pirate crew as long as the point of this is given.
They live with them, selfish and greedy, just generally bitchy and arrogant. Slowly they warm up, but their attitude never changes, just slightly less shitty.
Then it happens. Something happens to them. In this case it's Marineford.
They realize that 'HOLY SHIT THE GOVERNMENT IS RIGGED, WE'RE THE ASSHOLES' and snaps out of his bitchy arrogance once and for all. They grow from there, becoming one for justice and freedom thanks to the pirate crew they've lived withs' support.
In my AU i headcanon the Celestial Dragon teaching the Adventurers of the Sea government secrets and marine codes, and also giving them the code to marine transmissions, which is highly confidential information the crew doesn't know yet since Wyatt comes later on in the series.
Later on, they return to the Celestial Dragons, and immediately gets to work.
And CHAOS ENSUES FOR THE MARINES.
First, they boot out the blatantly corrupt officials who have no regard for human life.
Then they make Buster Calls WAY more rare.
THEN they make marines go through training to keep out corruption, specifically hand picking trainers who are on his side.
AND THEN HE MAKES LAWS TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE FROM THE REMAINING CORRUPTION OF THE MARINES
The Elders are confused and pissed, the Admirals are terrified, and the people are fucking ECSTATIC. The pirates that took care of the Celestial Dragon are honestly amazed and MORTIFIED they let on a Celestial Dragon and didn't realize. Then they're proud that they're changing the marines for the better (In my AU at least, characterize your pirates how you want).
I'm so fucking in love with this, someone do this PLEASE I wanna see them suffer the CHARACTER GROWTH PLEASE-
