in loving memory of my past self | neo champion silver & tyranitar

Winning, Silver finally realized, was no different than what happened after all that awkward fumbling and poorly-hidden fretting that he had suffered from nurturing the egg Eusine had entrusted him with. All of his struggles were magically whisked away by the sheer awe of seeing the tiny, tough Larvitar smash through the thin shell as its way to boldly greet the world. He was reliving that exact experience now, feeling like his very breath was stolen from him when the two-meters tall Tyranitar that he raised stomped back to its trainer, radiating a childlike glee that looked ridiculous on the very same Pokémon that dominated Mount Silver’s harsh terrains.

Or: once the dust has settled after his match with Lance, Silver finally learned what reaching victory meant alongside his partner Tyranitar, embodying his shiny title as a new Neo Champion. Here is a love letter about Silver and honing one's love.

This is a stand-alone story.

i was really happy with how this turned out! everybody in the zine did amazing work and i highly recommend checking out the full zine when you can (it's FREE to download too!)

honestly this is the most completed piece i've made in a good while and i'm So proud of it, thanks again for having me on the team!
