I always found it unfair how everyone put so much emphasis on Shikamaru’s sudden need for maturity and pressure to be okay and do everything on his own aka plan asuma’s revenge, plan out the shinobi war strategy, take care of kurenai and the rest of the village suddenly x-x both Ino and Choji also felt asuma’s loss and this pressure and have always been open to being there and aiding Shikamaru BUT WE NEVER SAW MUCH OF THAT 👏🏻  FOR ONCE, I would have liked them to show Shikamaru’s relationship and acknowledgment of this support 😕
