My fav characters from Good Bye Volcano HIgh!! Loved the game to bits and finished it in like one go haha Ofc I especially liked fang bc they're not only super cool, but also ambitious and kind! Rosa is a sweetheart and I was relieved for her not being a rival to the friend group! And I found Stella's approach and world view so inspiring - she really got me thinking on calming oneself--

Ok, so, a couple of weeks ago i was looking for the tabs to Swamp Babies (the song not the band, duh) but just didnt find them anywhere, even after asking around on twitter and reddit.

A Goodbye Volcano High headcanon/theory I have is that the rest of the dinogang knew about Fang's secret admirer and wanted to help, but the admirer was stubborn and wanted to do it their way no matter how long it took.

You know that awkward moment after the assembly sequence? I think they had a script to get Fang and Naomi to know each other, but instead Naomi started talking about dissecting robot frogs and the others didn't know how to respond. At first we think Naomi just isn't part of the group yet, but later we learn she's been meeting with most of them in the LnL sessions for a while. Stella asks Fang if Naomi and Naser are together, which could mean she doesn't know about Naomi's crush (she isn't part of the LnL sessions after all), but it could also be her way of making Fang confirm or deny if Naser is dating anyone at all (since she has a crush on him) as well as making Fang consider Naomi may be available (this didn't work).

Naomi is a perfectionist, she would want to make sure her bonding with and confession to Fang happen "perfectly", even if it ends up taking longer than it needed to (the game is about running out of time after all. Naomi did almost have her perfect reveal after BotB, but didn't account for Fang having other things going on).

Naser later implies that he knew of Naomi's crush for a long while. He was with her when the blackout happened and those messages were sent to Fang. I like to think it was actually Naser who took Naomi's phone and sent Fang the messages to force Naomi to take some steps already by having to do damage control (he could admit to be the one who sent them as a prank if things went wrong). In fact she immediately goes to talk to Fang after it happens, even if supposedly to talk about the blackout.
