I was watching some scenes from that soap opera again and it reminded me of how much I liked Princess/Empress Leopoldina.

She was serving up a lot of cunt, and besides the actress being great, the costumes are great.

I am in the trenches to defend Princess Viserra from all slanderous accusations. I don't know how anyone can see a drunken, out-of-control teenager and perceive it as manipulation and not as someone desperate. It was previously pointed out that Viserra was confident in her beauty; if she wanted to "seduce" the baelon, she would have gone normally. To me, this seems more like a cry for help in the terrible situation she was in. It's a shame she died young, but at least it was quick, and she didn't have to live suffering in a marriage she didn't want.

A random thought, because I might be confusing the dates a bit, but wouldn't it be more possible for Alicent to have been a lady-in-waiting to Aemma compared to being a lady-in-waiting to Rhaenyra? I know the book doesn't say anything about it, only that she went to court early, but I'm thinking more about fanfics where Rhaenyra is the same age as in the book.

I don't know, I think it would be interesting for a drama. Especially since it would explain, for example, her already being close to Viserys, or him knowing her, without having to add that plot of her going to comfort him at night.
