My definition of polyamory has expanded from just "having multiple partners" to "having a potentially limitless number of different connections with many people regardless of if it's a formal relationship or not"
I love this. The way we “define relationships” is so monogamy-centric.
“We’re official!” What does that mean other than a title and the promise that you’re not seeing other people? That definition doesn’t apply to polyamory, especially non-hierarchical polyamory. I think we should be able to say that we’re in a relationship and the conditions and understandings of that relationship be unique to the relationship itself, rather than having a set list of expectations that comes with the factory out of the box heterosexual monogamous marriage focused relationship that society pushes.

Chaotic Shit I did at my first sex party:
