love when ppl ask to see pics of my axolotl and are expecting something cute + pink + all smiles and instead with genuine fear in their eyes, and in their heart, say WHAT the fuck is that.

Thinking about a vampire dude bro who won't drink girl blood- because he's afraid it will estroginise him soy products style- getting trapped in a mental cage when he learns vampire dude who only bites other dudes reads as gay
thinking about how when you experience a lot of shame in your formative years (indirectly, directly, as abuse or just as an extant part of your environment) it becomes really difficult to be perceived by other people in general. the mere concept of someone watching me do anything, whether it's a totally normal activity or something unfamiliar of embarrassing, whether I'm working in an excel spreadsheet or being horny on main, it just makes my skin crawl and my brain turn to static because I cannot convince myself that it's okay to be seen and experienced. because to exist is to be ashamed and embarrassed of myself, whether I'm failing at something or not, because my instinctive reaction to anyone commenting on ANYTHING I'm doing is to crawl into a hole and die. it's such a bizarre and dehumanizing feeling to just not be able to exist without constantly thinking about how you are being Perceived. ceaseless watcher give me a god damn break.
sorry to put your tags on blast on this insane breach containment post I have since muted, but you're right and you should say it.
It is defeatable. Go for the throat.

i really need people to be so fucking careful in and around discussions of literacy because stuff like "this culture didn't develop a written language ergo they are mentally inferior to us" and "people with this disability are unable to read ergo they are mentally inferior to us" have been eugenicist talking points for a very long time

hi! maybe you know me or maybe you don't. i'm an aging disabled genderqueer who has been living on this site for ages. i've shat posts, written poems, made music & videos too. i also host a few tumblr communities like my book club.
i have been unable to work for a while & am currently surviving in a low income apartment with help from family support, weekly plasma donations, commission orders & pawning old items. i am in a tighter spot than ever now with little help from assisted living services so far.
if you have enjoyed anything on this blog & want to help me live:

My friend Fadel grew up in northern Gaza. Two years ago, the zionist occupation bombed his house while he was inside. He had to be brought to a hospital in southern Gaza because the hospitals in the north had completely collapsed. He has been homeless and raising funds for surgery to remove the shrapnel from his body since then. Now the occupation is laying groundwork for three settlements in northern Gaza. This is what genocide looks like.
We often think about genocide on the level of populations, but I want you to understand genocide through the lens of a single person. The occupation has been bombing refugee camps all week and these attacks have been so close to Fadel that debris from shelling have fallen on his family's tent. Imagine your worst trauma repeating over and over and over. This is his life, always at risk of bombing.
Fadel's body is breaking down from lack of adequate treatment and prolonged malnutrition. He is in extreme pain all the time, and experiences constant dizziness and nausea. @fadell-aldany has been fainting from severe anemia. All of these things are the direct result of the occupation: the destruction of food and water systems, the blockade on medicine and sterile surgical equipment, and the attacks on doctors and hospitals. Please help him survive.
My friends, there is no ceasefire (they lied to you and to us). They are constantly bombing us. We miraculously escaped death today because the occupation forces bombed a tent next to ours. Please understand our situation, please h@lp us and d0nate. Our situation is dire
The worse, I am injured and my health is rapidly deteriorating because I cannot afford my surgery. I suffer from frequent fainting spells and cannot afford my medication. Please stand by me and h@lp me buuy my medicine. Please don't ignore me. Please look at what is happening to us.
