A bit of positivity!!

Hello there!! My blog is dedicated to some aspects of the world that aren't as soul-crushing as others. The doomscroll is difficult and never-ending so I'd like to bring it to an end for you and create a bit of a safe haven.

I really like fandom culture!

The fact that there are so many people in the world who can take a look at a piece of media and go "this is really cool" and collectively build a community out of that is so cool to me. Obviously Tumblr's famous for its fandoms, but the internet is full of fanart, fanfiction, and other types of fan content! I also generally really like fiction and I like seeing people who like the same fiction I do, so it all works out, really.

Woah first non-intro post! I really like theatre, musical or otherwise!!

One of my favorite plays is a show called Puffs by Matt Cox. It's a parody of a certain seven-book series about a certain boy wizard with a certain scar on his forehead. It focuses on the side characters and in my opinion it's a really fun show (albeit a little tragic, so be warned). In terms of musicals, I really like Something Rotten! The music's great and it's really funny. One of its songs (A Musical) has a lot of references to other productions, so if you're a theatre nerd I really recommend it.
