The first night that I met my boyfriend I brought him back to my room and we watched footloose and ate dominos while barely touching because both of us were afraid to make the first move. He eventually held my hand after a good 2 hours and after that we stayed up all night until he left for work the next day at 7:00 talking about ourselves and our ambitions, our past etc etc... We also were laying down on the bed upside down, with pillows on the footend of the bed. I don't really know why I'm posting this but I just felt like it had to be said and it's just too corny to put on Facebook! Yesterday I was having a really bad day. Uni was stressing me out and I just felt like everything was getting on top of me. When he got to the house he could tell something was wrong and he stayed in the kitchen while I cooked dinner. We ate, and then I came back into the room. He'd set up the bed so that we could sleep upside down. It's such a small action but it just instantly makes me feel better! It's like he knows when I just need a cuddle and a talk and whenever he sets the bed up like that I just get reminded of how instantly we connected and how much I love him. I think all I really wanted to say was that we should appreciate the little things. To anyone else this might sound totally stupid and pointless but to me it's the most romantic and caring gesture in the world, and for him to remember something like that just makes me so happy and proud to be able to call him my boyfriend ❤️
