“BRING IT ON, I'LL KILL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU.”
She had nothing to lose and everything to protect.
Amid the calamity that falls upon the Enchanted Dominion, she becomes the vanguard standing against its spread.
The gifted girl who was once raised to be perfect finally breaks her binds.
Huge thank you to the lovely ⏾⋆.˚ 𝓚 つ き for accepting my art commission and for the absolutely incredible work on Skuld !
girl will suffer unearthly tragedies and still run errands the same day with a smile on their face but if a mans parents divorce when he is 12 he will unleash his wrath on the world for the rest of his life
I really like this website because somebody will be like “there’s nothing wrong with darting out from behind a parked car into traffic, bootlicker” and you can be like okay this clearly evolved from a valid point about how the US is too car-centric. But something happened to it.
I think Rachel/Naomi or Cassie/Michelle after they're living in the Hork Bajir valley would have a lot of potential. You don't need to worry about secrets (as much) and it closely follows the original's theme of having a mother/daughter pair seeing each other's perspective. In this case, the difficulties of being the one who goes out on missions vs being the one who has to stay behind.
#oh congrats I am now Obsessed w the concept of a Rachel/Naomi body swap now holy crap#and the particular angst of it being those two I think is really good#especially with how much of a rift exists between those two during that period#I think a lot about how the parents were honestly to some extent right#like let’s be honest—15/16 year olds running some cross between a paramilitary camp and refugee camp was never going to be fully functional#like to be clear they were doing their best—but everyone was also Going Through It#and so were the parents who were suddenly thrown into an active war#and on top of that were told that they have to follow the orders of literal teenagers#and beyond that I think a lot about how of the parents in the valley Naomi was the only one who had other children to protect#(and therefore other children to worry about being in danger)#and add to that a freaky Friday situation would mean the animorphs lose a a morph-capable experienced fighter#anyways I can’t stop thinking about this love this concept#animorphs
