I dunno it’s working so far tbh… Hahaha I don’t believe in “build it and they’ll come” that’s why I send a message that everyone is perfectly capable of ignoring and pretending isn’t there, but those who are open minded and like hearing about new bands tend to thank me for the message I’m actually not struggling, got a real job working hard etc. If you mean struggling to get fame yeah, I am, as we all do, but I work on it and build it and network through various methods every single day until I’ll get there Legit Go out there Make it happen It’s the only way As for it being more “meaningful” for them to find it otherwise I don’t know where you get that from, in my opinion it’s absolutely fine Doing what I’m doing, it’s working and it takes away no meaning But I’d like to hear my current fans opinions on it? Okay here we go: So this is one instance where the URL is on point, I mean seriously “thoughtsfromacrazyperson” perfectly explains this message. Most of her points don’t even make sense: •• saying you shouldn’t message people about your band because a lot of other artists like her are struggling and they don’t go around messaging people is stupid. You have found a way to stand out from the other artists and aren’t just wallowing in failure hoping people will notice you like she apparently is. •• saying fans won’t want to reach out to you because you say you want to be the biggest band ever is strange considering you say that in a message that literally invites people to listen to your music and chat with you. And also the fact that literally like 2/3 of us got that msg and your music and stay because you actually interact with us and are a cheeky lil fellow that makes good music. •• and why would just stumbling across your music and liking it be more meaningful that the lead singer of a band actually messaging you and asking you to check out his band and then you doing so and being like hell yeah they are awesome, glad this guy messaged me. I mean come on it is not meaningful when I, with 23 tabs open, come across a video of another cute cat playing the piano why would just coming across a random new band, when there are hundreds more that are just as good, be that meaningful versus the alternative.

Wow, okay that was long, but those was fighting words in her message …so yeah clearly your messages do not get loyal fans. Yup, that is what I, a person who got one of those msgs and freaking loves OYS thinks.
