every so often, i think, and it might be so selfish of me, but i crave to be someone's first choice. i want to be the person that someone sees fun things to do and their first thought is to ask me to go with them. i want someone to be willing to inconvenience themselves a little bit sometimes for me as i would do for them. i want to be looked at in a list of people and to have someone pick me out of all of them. i want to be held at the same level as a romantic partner in terms of effort and closeness. i want someone to want me as much as i want them, even though it's not in a romantic sense. i want to be important to someone.

Rizzo my man will join Gonzo on his channel for stunts and Fozzie we all know what my man will do. Statler and Waldorf roast him in the comments. Uncle Deadly starts a horror channel maybe some creepypasta here and there. Am I missing anyone? I swear we got so many muppets

Their team tries to rescue them anyway, but that would ruin the deal. Whumpee works with whumper to create a plan to stop the rescue mission with as little harm as possible.

Currently rewatching the tmnt 03 episode where a group mass-kidnaps a certain demographic of people because they are quote unquote "human garbage" with "no value". (It's at least emplied that) while the police is very much aware of it, they do nothing. Not, because they got paid or something, but simply because it's only this demographic and they don't care about this one.

Anyways, they get kidnapped onto an island they'd need a boat to get off of. They have to work as slaves in the best run landfill operation in the entire contry. Leo even mentioned how the company can just do this because of corruption. If they don't comply or even make a mistake (or even hesistate) they get shocked by one of the guards who apparently do this out of free will.

This isn't even like a season 4 kinda thing. This is the 9th episode of the very first season: the garbageman

The kidnapped demographic is homeless people

People largly ignored by society, often portraid as 'lazy' and 'filthy'. And they get saved by people who are called 'freaks' and have to hide in the shadows because they fear what would happen if ppl new they exsited.

They do, however, show themselves to the homeless people and give them stuff they could use. Because while society 'hates' both of those groups, while they are completely different, they know they have to it is the right (kind) decision to stick together and help each other.

Also, despite the silly name "the garbageman" Don says they have to take it serious, because one of the homeless people said so, and Don trusts him.

This series is so amazing.

One thing that really irritates me is how fandom has moved into private chats. I come on tumblr or twitter to make some new friends that like the same media I do (or characters or ship or whatever). But all the interaction happens on Discord.

People come here, recruit people for their discord, and then leave. All the headcanons, fic discussions, open collabs... Almost all of that has shifted away from here. I swear it used to be a lot more lively when I was younger.

I'm probably just overly irritated because I joined back into fandom recently and I cannot for the life of me understand how to socialize anymore. Tumblr isn't the primary platform like it was before so I can't observe how people interact to try to copy them and join in. It feels hopeless.

I agree so much. I want to meet new people who like Transformers. I love the friends I have right now, don't get me wrong, they mean the world to me. But I still wanna branch out and find more people to chat with, ones who are interested in making new friends and not just advertising for RP/commissions/etc.

Really doesn't help that I'm autistic and socializing is already an extremely difficult code to crack
