Going insane over character design/acting choices again

This scene captures it perfectly, especially Aziraphale. Visually, from a character design/costuming standpoint, Aziraphale is the ‘soft’ one: light colors, worn clothing, rounded edges. And Crowley is the ‘sharp’ one: dark colors, structured shoulders, hard lines.

But they present opposite, Aziraphale sitting straight as a pin, and Crowley who doesn’t seem to have a spine.

Aziraphale wants to be soft, welcoming, go with the flow- but he needs structure and purpose.

Crowleys the opposite, wanting to appear harsh and devil may care, but really a softie deep down.

I see what you (and a few others) are getting at, but here is something else to remember. In those times (Georgian and thereabouts), laudanum wasn't just used as a poison. In certain doses, it was used as a medicine - a pain killer similar to morphine or Tylenol. They had to stop using it because laudanum is an opioid and it didn't take much for people to get addicted. Too much would definitely kill you, but a little bit is generally "fine". In contrast, cyanide is only harmful, not medicinal. Crowley, being a supernatural entity, cannot die by such means. Which means, instead of dying from the overdose of laudanum, Crowley gets super high from the laudanum's opioid properties. Cyanide works different, though. You can't get high from cyanide. We don't officially know what cyanide would do to supernatural entities, but I'm not sure it would have the same effect as the laudanum.

Characters I would bang:

Issue One: Henry Bolet Jr.

He’s so dark and mysteriously creepy. He’s the most gorgeous character in any of the games. To me, he’s more unknown than anyone else. Yes, that includes Sonny Joon.

I don’t understand why he puts up with his girlfriend. She’s an ungrateful gold digger. Seriously, he jumps over the moon to get her what she wants and she still complains. If I was his girlfriend, I’d be sitting next to him, refilling his cup of tea, and comforting him through the death of the person who raised him. I’d be the one jumping over the moon for him. That’s what he deserves.

Something tells me he’s incredibly kinky too. Probably into anthropomorphic stuff. He probably has a ton of fantasies that he can never express to his girlfriend.

Out of all the characters in any of the games, he is possibly my favorite.

fun thing about king James, this guy was fairly public about his bf (more public than what was acceptable). He threw lots of extravagant parties with his man on his arm. It pissed off the church obviously so to get them off his back, he’s the one that ordered the third translation of the Bible from Hebrew to English (the King James Version aka the Authorized Version) so the Bible every hot blooded all American Christian reads today was literally just written so a very gay king could fuck his boyfriend in peace.
