Meggan sketch, because gee what a cutie
Nightmares// Kurt & Meggan
Meggan was always up at the crack of dawn, and on sunday mornings her house mates would demand a lie-in and no disturbances; which then led to the rule of Meggan either having to stay in her room until the others awoke or leaving the apartment until mid-day. Of course, Meggan struggled to stay cooped up and quiet in her room, and enjoyed her Sunday morning strolls where she would eventually pick up two coffees and a hot chocolate with everything on, and retreat back to the apartment to face the sleepy assassin and agent.
She was enjoying this stroll no less than normal, greeting the few passers by enthusiastically in which they would reply with words Meggan didn’t feel comfortable repeating or just a silent glare. Suddenly, a mass of blue appeared from the alleyway, taking Meggan by surprise until she put the pieces together and came face-to-face with her old, fluffy friend.
"Kurt!"
Jolting from his own mind eyes wide he stared at Meggan for a while as his tail gave a small twitch not having expected her at all. A weary worn smile grew over his face hands in his slacks as he watched her with care. She was always so good about picking up on his moods and the last thing he wanted was for her to catch on at the moment. “Guten tag Leibechen, was are you doing?” He teased as he shifted closer to curl an arm around her shoulders in a quick hug.
He was free and soon enough he was dwelling on perhaps going out to dinner with her. Tail flicked as he rocked back on his heels as best as he could with such odd feet. Keeping hands in his pockets he rolled the rosary beads in his fingers not to sure why she was out and about.
Meggan accepted his hug happily, squeezing her friend before returning his question with a cheery smile, launching into a ramble about Betsy's house rules and her incapability to follow them which always resulted in the metamorph wandering around the city at the early hours of the morning.
"And then I usually go to get some coffee as a peace-offering before I go back so that's where I was going, 'cause I wanna gonna get myself a hot chocolate with lots of whipped creamed and sprinkles and-"
She stopped suddenly, frowning and letting her eyes examine him without any hint of subtlety, her head tilting uncomfortably as she pouted her lips for a second, trying to put a finger on what was wrong in the situation. After figuring out it was indeed Kurt, her frown deepened.
"What's wrong?"

Max glanced up from his phone to catch the eye of the pretty blonde bar tender, blinking in silent thought for a few seconds before replying. “Only if you join me, doll," he said with a grin, digging into the pocket of his leather jacket to pluck out a crisp ten dollar bill which he slid across the table in her direction. “Get yourself whatever you want. Your company will be welcomed seeing as I am indeed here alone."
He watched her with idle curiosity as she returned to the bar, slipping the mobile phone away. He had, in fact, spent the day scouting for new talent. Vegas was a beacon to dancers and women who were looking for jobs, so it was never hard when the time came to employ new strippers. But despite having invited a few to the upcoming audition, none of them had really stood out from the flamboyant crowds of people that roamed the neon-light lit streets. Not, that was, until this little gem had come to ask if he wanted another drink.
"I know you’re probably busy working," Max apologised as she returned. Narrowing his eyes, he peered at the badge on her chest that read her name. “Meggan, is it? Megs." He extended a finger, beckoning her to sit down. “You’re a gorgeous girl, y’know. Although I bet many men tell you that on a daily basis." Taking her hand, he pressed it to his lips in a gentlemanly manner. “I’m Max."
Meggan loved attention- she enjoyed people talking to her, wanting to meet her, compliments and friendliness. The bar was the perfect place; full of confident people consumed with alcohol, desperate drunks on an escape to Vegas on their own and groups of people celebrating who had no objection to letting the waitress join in. She would always accept attention without questioning it, and that was no different when an attractive, wealthy looking man asked her to join him.
Meggan beamed a confident, bubblegum smile at him, before laughing and raising an eyebrow. "Meggan is just fine, sweetie, and even though this place hasn't hit rush hour yet doesn't mean this place won't throw me out for drinking on the job." The man caught her hand and kissed it and she let another bubble of laughter escape her pink lips, sliding into the seat opposite and leaning on the table, her elbows propped up on the table to allow her head to rest on the back of her hands.
"Doesn't mean I get tired of hearing it- oh, God, did that sound self-centered? That totally came out self-centered. It's a little self-centered, but I bet a guy like you in that fancy suit isn't judgmental over a little appreciation of compliments." The mention of the suit distracted Meggan and she let her eyes run over the ensemble, pursing her lips in thought and tilting her head a little before giving up and leaning back in her seat. "So, Max, you've come to the beautiful ol' city of Vegas for business or pleasure?"
Show Me Your Tips // Vegas AU Meggan & Amora
Amora was lost in a train of thought, taking time to mentally prepare herself for her performance that night; as she always did before hand. Jolted out of her revive when a chirpy voice caught her attention, looking up to find another blonde staring down at her as a string of questions flew from the woman’s mouth.
A laugh left the Enchantress, always happy to be met with another bubbly personality, as she took a moment to recall the order of the questions and how to answer them. Knowing Max’s rule about no drinking before a performance, her drink of choice for that afternoon was a simple Club Lemon, she held up her half empty glass to the waitress, “If you have another one of these, I’d really appreciate it," smiling.
A manicured hand waved in the air as Amora tried to think how best to word her next sentence, “I’m not waiting for anyone so I guess it’s the second, I don’t get much alone time." The confession was a simple one, though the blonde dancer didn’t appreciate too much alone time and was thankful that she didn’t get enough of it. “You’re welcome to intrude though, I daresay I’ve had my fill of my quiet time."
Meggan took the glass, holding it up to her with a bubble of laughter and a wink, turning on her heels to head back towards the bar, her head turned to face the blonde.
"Club Lemon and company, comin' right up." she replied, a sing-song laced through her voice as she moved away from Amora, placing the tray down at the bar once she'd reached her destination and sliding behind the counter, grabbing a glass and filling it up. Popping a lemon on the side of the glass and a black straw into the liquid, she returned to the stranger, sliding into the seat opposite without hesitation and passing her her drink.
"Quiet time is terribly dull though, dont'cha think? I hate the quiet." she gestured around to early-evening customers, the place in a gentle hum of conversation and pre-drinks as opposed to the herds of excitement that would bound through the doors within a few hours. "This is as quiet as I like to get. This and a few chats with customers is my idea of a quiet work night- speaking of working, do I know you? I swear I see you here around this sorta' time quite a lot, and God knows people can't afford holidays that long anymore so I'm guessing you work around here? I'm Meggan, by the way. Two 'G's."

Where Am I? (Open) [Vegas AU]
Sharon could barely walk straight. Her eyes were blurry, not from crying, but from the extreme amount of alcohol she had entered into her system. She had been with her friends one moment, having the time of her life, for Jessica’s bachelorette party, and now she was lost. None of them in sight. Not to mention, she had lost her room key.
Her head was beginning to feel a bit dizzy, the room spinning in twenty different directions. In the mindset she was her, her reaction was that she needed to get more alcohol. She knew where the bar was. That was the one place she could still remember to get to.
After making her way into the luxurious bar of the casino resort, she sat down in one of the stools at the bar. It took her a few tries to sit down, but she made it eventually. She ordered herself a drink, a Sex On the Beach, to be exact, and sat sipping on the cold liquid.
Meggan had brought the other blonde a drink, quirking an eyebrow and watching as the stranger trialed and errored sitting down on one of the stools of the bar. Giving a friendly laugh from the familiar sight, Meggan gestured over to the corner where a free booth was and turned back to the blonde with a bright smile. She wasn't paid to actually help the customers, just bring them their drinks- but Meggan was an extreme people person and the alcohol is the customer's systems always allowed Meggan to be as friendly as possible. Sober people weren't as accepting of her overly-friendly nature- maybe that was why she took the job in the first place.
"Honey, I'm not gonna tell you to stop drinking because everyone in this bar knows that's the primary reason people come to Vegas, but if you're that drunk I would suggest a seat a little more fool-proof. I've seen pretty girls fall off those stools dozens of times this weekend, and besides, the booth is a lot more comfortable."

Meggan loved working at Poison- no matter what was said about it in whispers or rumours, the place was bursting with energy, full of exciting people and paid damn well too.
She had been working there for quite some time now, and was dubbed 'Tip-sy' by her coworkers for her confident nature mainly only shown by people who had been drinking, and how that trait would never fail to help her pick up actual tips. Tray balancing on one hand and the other placed on her hip, Meggan offered a regular customer a laugh following their conversation and placed her hand on his shoulder as a friendly goodbye before taking his empty glass and turning to make her way back to the bar.
On her way she saw someone sat alone, and she changed her direction over to them to offer them a confident smile and nod towards their empty glass.
"Can I get'cha another drink, sweetie? Are you waiting for someone or just taking a quiet moment alone from the buzz?"
Tell it, Meggan.

Nightmares// Kurt & Meggan
Normally when he woke from a nightmare it was by screaming and sitting bolt upright. This time he just jolted a hand instantly to the spot between his eyes rubbing at the skin and fur till it hurt. He could still feel be barrel of the shotgun pointed in his face before the gun rested on his nose and slid up to right between his eyes. Eyes fluttered as he looked over to the clock breath hitching and gasping as he tried to ignore the sheen of sweat on his fur. It was Sunday and he had to go to church as always. Despite the haunting memories that followed him everywhere he was a man of his faith. Soon enough he was strolling down the street eyes downcast and hidden for once. He tried to make it clear he felt that there was nothing wrong with how he looked, with how God made him.
But, today he did not feel like it, did not feel like anything more then a shell of himself. Slinking through alleyways shoulders slumped brown eyes dull and cast down he was wondering if he should stay away from home and people for a while, or at least till he was himself again.
Meggan was always up at the crack of dawn, and on sunday mornings her house mates would demand a lie-in and no disturbances; which then led to the rule of Meggan either having to stay in her room until the others awoke or leaving the apartment until mid-day. Face-packs and Firearms; Meggan, Shae & Betsy
Shae trudged slowly up the stairs to Betsy’s penthouse apartment, fiddling with the key on her keychain- newly minted. The telepath had insisted, after their last conversation, that the agent stay with her for at least a few weeks. She was exhausted. Bi-monthly physical fitness tests were rapidly approaching and she was still rehabbing her upper body. The extra training sessions and sparring matches with Sharon during her lunch hour were beginning to wear on her. Still, taking the elevator would be lazy.
She studied the key in the palm of her hand. It had been highly unnecessary to make a new set of keys specifically for her, but who was she to tell Elizabeth no? Her entire body ached- it was even more prevalent to her now as she attempted to go against gravity with each heavy footfall. The bag slung over her shoulder felt like it weighed a thousand pounds, threatening to take her to the floor each time she shifted.
Opening the stairway door onto the top floor, Shae paused to catch her breath. She could see light pouring out from beneath Betsy’s door and checked her watch. Elizabeth wasn’t due back yet.. she’d had some appointment or another. Shae hadn’t really listened. The flickering light indicated that the television was on. The brunette frowned, and then suddenly remembered. Meggan. She’d totally forgotten about the metamorph also staying with Betsy. Exhaling slowly, preparing herself for the onslaught of pure energy, she moved to the door and turned the keys, stepping inside.
She came face to face with a bouncing blonde form, squealing something unintelligible. Shae squinted her eyes shut as she was led inside, trying to comprehend what was just said. “PJs? What? Did I miss something?" She gazed out over the living room, pillows flung every which way, an array of colorful bowls and snacks. Betsy would be furious. The agent couldn’t help but give a tired smile, she could at least humor the blonde until Elizabeth came home and put an end to things. “Are we having a sleepover?" she asked, turning toward Meggan in amusement.
The growling purr of her engine was cut as the sleek Jaguar parked up in the underground garage of her apartment block. Elizabeth slid out, a few bullet casings clattering to the tarmac with soft tinkling sounds as she grabbed a variety of weapons from the passenger seat. She caught sight of another of the tenants watching, glaring at him for a few seconds from behind her sunglasses before slamming the car door shut with the swing of a hip and marching towards the elevator. Most of those who lived in her building were used to the peculiar antics of the English female who lived in the penthouse. Those who weren’t were still, at least, clever enough to keep their mouths shut and not ask any questions.
It wasn’t until she was unlocking the door to the top floor apartment with her telekinesis (undeniably a useful skill to have when her hands were full and her keys were goodness knows where) that she noted that someone was in. Much like Braddock Manor, her newest property had quickly become a place to stay for more than just herself. Having Meggan around was a sweet reminder of home, and there was no way she would allow Shae to live alone for the time being. It made it easier to keep an eye on the brunette whilst providing the three of them with a sense of stability and normality.
"I hope you ha-" was the beginning of Elizabeth’s sentence, but the rest of it never made it past her lips. She blinked, slowly placing the array of blades and guns down on the nearest table surface that wasn’t covered in bowls of party food or DVDs. An accusing gaze wandered from the re-decorated room to Shae and then, quickly, to Meggan. "I," was all she could manage, mouth parted in surprise that was bordering on despair. "You..." She dared to take another look at her surroundings.
"Oh Meggan."
The telepath took a few steps over to the blonde, hand cupping the back of her blonde curls as she pressed a small kiss to the metamorph’s forehead. “You are positively mad, darling, to go to all this trouble. Did you organise everything yourself?" She couldn’t help but smile, despite her silent irritation, too endeared by Meggan’s gesture of a sleepover. If anyone else had asked to hold one it would seem ridiculous, however she had somehow pulled it off. “I do hope you’re not involved in this too, Wiley," she said through her teeth with a plastered grin, hoping the agent would realise the hint of a threat whilst their television-loving friend would remain blissfully unaware.
Meggan's smile impossibly seemed to get bigger as she squeezed the brunette agent in excitement, her understanding of personally space apparently not any more evolved from her time in the city. "Of course!" Meggan replied with slight annoyance as if the spontaneous event was the most obvious thing, before disappearing into the kitchen. After a few bangs and squeaks of 'I'm okay, I'll clean it up in a minute!', Meggan emerged back into the front room with a mug that had been filled to the brim with what looked like hot chocolate, complete with whipped cream, sprinkles and marshmellows. The liquid had started to run down the sides of the mug, so as if the mug represented the blame of the mess in the kitchen, the metamorph quickly handed over the mug to Shae.
"I know that it's summer and hot chocolate is a winter drink, but I haven't seen one sleepover movie where they don't have hot chocolate and I wasn't sure what else to get and it's cool because you brought me a hot chocolate when we first met so I assumed you liked it. Oh- or maybe you didn't like it and that's why you ordered it for me and not you! I-"
The door opened again with the entrance of the house's owner, and Meggan quickly took her hands off the oozing hot chocolate mug to place both hands on the sides of her cheeks, grinning eagerly at her purple haired best-friend.
"We're having a sleepover. Everyone was a little sad and sleepovers are some sort of medicine, according to my research. They make everything better, so that's what we're going to do. We're going to have this sleepover and be happy and make everything good again, okay? No excuses and no sitting out of any of the activities. We're going to have lots of fun and start being happy again." Meggan demanded, her tone serious for the brief period of time before clapping her hands together in excitement, her grin plastered back onto her face. "Now, everyone has to get into their PJs."

SHIELD now have a welcoming committee and they’ve started selling popcorn covered in chocolate which I can’t decide if I’m thrilled or weird-ed out by.
Really? Well, things certainly have changed while I was gone.
There are a lot of people returning from places recently- where have you come from?
I'm Meggan- official mutant nurse and unofficial leader of the not-yet-confirmed welcoming committee.
Face-packs and Firearms; Meggan, Shae & Betsy
Meggan hadn't actually asked Betsy for permission to throw a sleepover, or even checked with her or Shae that they were even willing to participate, but Meggan believed that nothing could go wrong and that throwing an event usually shared between teenage girls with an assassin and SHIELD agent was a brilliant idea.
The blonde ball of bubblegum excitement bounced around Betsy's luxurious apartment- although it's chic, mature aura had been disrupted by the large bowls dotted around the room of every finger food and snack that Meggan could get her hands on from the shop, the floor scattered with pillows that she had borrowed from each room and sofa in the house, and the dining table that was usually covered in fashion magazines had been over-run by typical, sickly chick-flicks.
It was the perfect representation of every visual experience Meggan had had of a sleepover party from all of her TV shows and movies- and she clapped her hands together proudly as she admired her hard work.
She had spent half an hour that day in the mall debating on whether to buy the three of them matching PJ sets, but had eventually decided against it. She had figured it would have been an added touch too much, and Meggan wasn't the type to go overboard, of course.
The sudden rattle of keys in the door startled the metamorph from looking over her work, spinning around just in time to face the first girl home, a bright beam spread across her face as she squealed.
"You're back! Finally? Where is- oh well, she'll be here soon- that gives you time to go get into your PJs and help me finish up- do you think I should put the DVDs in alphabetical order or- no, no, that's strange, let's not do that."
Meggan pulled her in, kicking the door shut with her foot and guiding her friend into the front room, which looked sickeningly like a replica set of a high school movie. "What do you think?"
That’s because I’m a hard man to track down, my dear. Don’t worry your pretty head over it, though - I prefer an element of secrecy in my life. It keeps things exciting.
Your welcomes are kind, but I’m not new. In fact, judging by your accent, I’m going to assume that I’ve been in America for longer than you. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Meggan. I’m Maximus.
I like exciting things.
It's lovely to meet you, Maximus! So, are you another one of the super secret people of SHIELD? I keep finding out new things about them, they're very good at keeping secrets- I am too, but not as much as them. I mean, I can keep secrets but sometimes I get a bit carried away and accidentally let things slip and then people get mad and then- well, okay, I'm not brilliant at keeping secrets but I can make cupcakes so they let me stay.
