So uh. A lot of bad stuff happened recently. And I could use any help I could get. Compassion, a listening ear. Advice. Anything. (Also, please signal boost this)
•my mom is in the hospital. It’s bad. Like possible internal bleeding, severe fever, she is getting her gallbladder removed tomorrow. She has been there for three days now.
•i decided to light a candle for her. A cat knocked the candle over and the bedside table and eventually the wall caught on fire. The fire is out, and it only caught a corner of one room, but I lost a lot.
•i had to go to the hospital because of smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide poisoning. I have apparently recovered enough to go home safely, so I was discharged and am now at home. (Typing this from the room that caught fire) I am still dizzy and lightheaded, confused and disoriented, short of breath, I have a headache, and my eyes were hurt by the smoke. I can’t see clearly.
•i lost my shrine. I had dozens of gems, surely they aren’t all gone, but I’ve found three in the wreckage so far. My important gold infinity token melted. My paint palette that I use to connect the energy of gems and tokens and herbs to a candle in the center is destroyed. It was the first thing to go. My statue of the Buddha melted beyond repair. My incense burner. My whole shrine is gone.
•all of my medicine was on the bedside table, it all burnt. I am severely and chronically ill, and bedridden, and I take something like 12 to 18 different pills a day, depending on if you count vitamins. I need to replace the pills, and the prospect of paying for all of them at once… Well. It will cost several hundred dollars at least to get everything. I don’t have any money, and my insurance will not cover any medicine.
•i am feeling lost. Disoriented and confused and dizzy and sick, from the carbon monoxide. Hopeless and depressed and worried and heartbroken.
If you could send me any positive energy you can, send a spell, light incense, send good vibes, pray, even just send me nice messages on tumblr… I would really appreciate it. Just.. Please don’t light a candle for me.
