Long after the Great Elven Conflict, the sun set on the modern world. With fragments of the old American West resurfacing, many hoped to return to their pre-war glory. Generations passed, radiation settled, and conflicts still arose. Despite the fresh start, it seemed humanity would truly never learn.
Amidst the rubble, Ayizan searches. Equipped with nothing but her fortune-telling mother's blessing and an ambition for belonging.

Zhu Yuchun and Luca Fabri were both on the merchant ship headed for town when instead a winter storm blew them off-course and straight into Roche Rock's wall! They were, unfortunately, the only survivors.
Both adverse from receiving charity, they're optimistic about using the salvage to make some kind of living until a boat stops by the...very....empty dock to pick them up.
Unfortunately, Yuchun got off a little worse for wear from the wreck so he spent a few days having to recover.
(He actually got sick with the flu from the welcome wagon because the Britton lot is bugged with something causing the flu and they've spread it all over town!)
ZHU YUCHUN: pleasure/knowledge | bisexual | selfless
Usually by mid-afternoon everyone's stinky and miserable...
Ever since splitting up the Achard and Bellshaw families however, things have been so much smoother. Everyone's been able to get chores done pretty quickly, and I've been able to stay on top of needs.
It leaves the family with plenty of time to sit back, unwind and socialize by the fire!
My latest hood Lindenshire. I think it's one of the sc4 terrains I created over a decade ago. I'm not sure if I'll be playing it because it got hit with tons of townies I don't want with genetized skintone I deleted. I'll probably be remaking it though! But here's pretty photos
Unfortunately, the end of the season is marked by tragedy as Finnian catches an illness and passes away.
Maira can't help but feel if Loup was here perhaps something would have been different...
The loss of Loup is obvious in their coffers, although they have been careful savers and have enough for Nanette's dowry, the family only has 4,845 gold saved for the summer months.
There is a lot of salvage to make use of, and Luca works hard to get Yuchun under shelter so he can recover as quickly as possible (especially since apparently the town does not have a doctor!)
The big tent goes up first, and then the cooking pot, and then Luca finds some pans to boil brine and sell salt....and well the cellar is a little indulgent sure, but what is a man going to go while he is in a brand new place, just survived a dangerous shipwreck, and has to take care of his fellow survivor?
Luca is apparently a stress builder!
Do you remember the Collie from a few posts ago? The one Delia was befriending? Yeah, they destroyed one of the double beds...
But Gavin thought the sheets needed changing anyway... They were a bit worn out and stank from all of the times Sims slept in them without showering...
Helenet: The weather is lovely again today and I haven't got any patients to see, so I'm going to take all these rascals out for a picnic lunch. Want to come with us?
Arturo: Oh, very well. Someone will need to carry that oversized basket of yours anyway; I believe it weighs more than you do.
Helenet: Fiona's already beat you to it—I've been informed that she is in fact the strongest girl on the isle and she can lift absolutely anything.
Arturo: Ah, well, then someone will need to carry Fiona and the basket when she gets tired.
Arturo: Here? You're bringing us here for a picnic?
Helenet: You've become even more of a homebody since it all happened, love, and I don't think it's just because you want to be. I know the forest has a bad memory attached to it now, but Elmet and I thought… perhaps if you have a nice memory here too, it will be easier for you next time.
Arturo: I…
Helenet: We don't have to stay here if you really don't want to. We can go elsewhere. But Arturo, you can create those protective wards like you have on the house anywhere, can't you?
Arturo: Ah—yes, but without something to anchor the spell to, like a hearthstone, the ward will be temporary.
Helenet: So you could create one here. And then, even though I believe it's safe here now, you would have extra warning if anyone did come upon this spot. Not to mention, you told me that you can sense where the fae—and the rest of us magical creatures—are.
Arturo: Your logic is irrefutable, witch.
Helenet: Coming from you, that's quite the compliment!
Despite the fact that she is older and that they were best friends throughout his childhood, Maban takes to absolutely tormenting Nanette.
The prospect of getting out of this house is growing more appealing with every noogie.
