When you think about it, Liu Qingge is actually a very tragic/ sad character. Imagine being raised in a peak where the most important thing is fighting, you probably have no friends and you are in constant survival mode because Bai Zhan is lowkey hardcore, the amount of kids that die there is crazy, you do not want to end up buried like your fellow disciples, so you give it your all to build a reputation, eventually becoming a peak lord.
Then in one universe you die young, trying to become better, the last thing you see is your rival’s panicked and scared face trying to save you and failing.
In another universe, your rival has a “Qi deviation” that makes him forget his past and now he’s a new person. He saves you successfully, you slowly fall in love with him. Then he dies, you fight the disciple that was in love with him for 5 years (he is much stronger than you, you know this, but you can’t give up), the reputation you spent so long building is in shambles, people ridicule you.
Then you see the person you are in love with alive again, there’s no time for a warm reunion, you help him yet again. LQG is relieved SQQ is alive, he is not mad, could never be mad at SQQ. However it still is sad to think about the 5 years he had to live in grief, risking his life every time he went to fight Luo Binghe.
Afterwards, in Maigu ridge he spots SQQ, clearly having had relations with the disciple he was fighting for 5 years, Imagine what he felt when he saw the blood between SQQ’s legs.
Not only that but SQQ defends LBH no matter whattt. There‘a a lot of scenarios of LBH doing EVIL shit and Sqq defending him. I cannot imagine being LQG and seeing your crush make excuses for your enemy. Like that is messed up.
Not to mention the amount of times LBH has humiliated LQG and SQQ kept defending him. Like give me a break man.
