"I’ve been using the Chipolo for a few weeks now, and can confidently say that it does exactly what it says on the tin… and a little bit more. Unlike some other Bluetooth tags on the market, this one has a replaceable battery. It came with one installed and one spare battery, with each lasting about 6 months. Other tags have to be thrown away when they run out of battery. The Chipolo app is very well designed, and a little bit quirky (examples include being able to play noughts and crosses while you wait for the app to update). Nice features include being able to rename each of your tags – keys, iPad, dog, etc. – and a community feature which means other Chipolo users can help you find your lost items if they’ve gone walk-about from their last location. I haven’t had to use mine for a genuine lost item yet, but it certainly feels better knowing I have a way of locating my stuff when the time comes!
