JRPG about a transfemme protagonist learning to overcome her internalized transphobia and purposefully forgotten trauma, where each party member is a headmate, each one recruited by discovering them in some obscure place, a sufficiently incurious player, one who only follows the main quest exactly, will find no additional party members, find the final boss literally impossible, and be given a bad ending, with endings going up goodness for the protagonist based on how many of the party members you managed to find, finding all of them will allow the protagonist to piece her past together from their stories, and while maybe not move past it entirely, know she has many headmates to help her handle its effects, and now with full knowledge of her dissociative disorder, she can begin the path to self actualization, that would be cool I think
