Episode "Who Mourns the Adonais" (Season 2, Ep. 4)
The scene at the beginng of the episode where Bones and Kirk are talking about Scotty being flirty with Lt. Carolyn Palamas:
Bones: "Lt., you look a bit tired this morning."
Lt. Carolyn Palamas: "Well, I was up all night working on these reports, Sir."
Scotty: "Well in that case there is nothing like a wee bit of coffee to get you back in shape, join me Carolyn?"
Carolyn: "Allright, Scotty! Just let me give this to Mister Spock."
Kirk: "Bones. Could you get that exited over a cup of coffee?"
Bones: "Well, even from here I can tell his pulse rate´s up."
Scotty: (to Kirk and Bones)"Gentlemen!" (to Carolyn) "Come along, my dear."
(It looks like Uhura is talking to Carolyn, but there is nothing to be heard)
Bones: "I´m not sure I like that, Jim."
Kirk: "Why, Bones? Scotty is a good man."
Bones: "And he thinks he is the right man for her, but I´m not sure she thinks he´s the right man. On the other hand, she is a woman - all woman."
Bones: "One day she´ll find the right man, off she´ll go, out of the service."
Kirk: "MMhmm. I like to think of it not so much as losing an officer as gaining ---"
Scotty (to Carolyn): "Come along."
Kirk: "Actually, I´m losing a officer"
Now for the german version (translated into english again by me for you):
Bones: "Lt., you look a bit overly tired."
Lt. Carolyn Palamas: "Well, I was up all night working on this report, Sir."
Scotty: "I am going to make you (actually Scotty is using the more formal adress "Sie" in german) make nice strong coffee and soon you´ll be in shape again, agreed Carolyn?"
Carolyn: "Nice of you, Scotty! I´ll just quickly give this to Mister Spock."
Scotty (offscreen): "I´ll even make you a filtered one."
Kirk: "Bones. Can you rememeber him ever making you a filtered one?"
Bones: "I don´t even know if he can filter. His hands will be shaking from nervousness."
Scotty: (to Kirk and Bones) "I don´t think this is fair!" (to Carolyn) "So, let us go"
(In the german version there is actually dialogue between Uhura and Carolyn.
Carolyn: "Yes, what´s up?"
Uhura: "I´ve got a few papers for you (dialogue fades out))
Bones: "I can´t imagine him landing by her (idk, slang for like "having a shot at her" or something)."
Kirk: "Why not? Scotty is a great guy."
Bones: "Well yes, no one doubts that. But you never know if the pretty child is cut out for the great guy. Obviously I mean this very privately. You already know. Otherwise she is class/great. Professionally she has a lot of skill and otherwise she is also a great fit for us (presumably meaning the Enterprise and its crew)."
Kirk: "MMhmm. And I always thought Scotty is just in love with his Sol-drive."
Scotty (to Carolyn): "So, Come along."
Kirk: "And suddenly he starts to filter."
Why the emphasis on all the filtered coffee? But also, if you ask me, better comedic timing in the german dub! And a bit less sexist honestly! Also, the english scene doesn´t pass the Bechdel-test, the german dub does ...
