Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.
Speak now or forever hold your peace: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married! The singer-songwriter and Kansas City Chiefs player tied the knot in a ceremony on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden, Rolling Stone has confirmed.
The couple did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her “Man of Honor” and Jason Kelce was Kelce’s Best Man. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler.
Both Swift, 36, and Kelce wore a wedding looks designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior Haute Couture.
Unsurprisingly, the big spectacle was jam-packed with musicians, from Swift’s close collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner to her close friends in the music industry like Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, the Haim sisters, Sombr, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney, and Maren Morris.
Some of Swift’s closest friends were in attendance, including Abigail Andersen, Ashley Avignone, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, and Zoë Kravitz. Karli Kloss attended with her husband Joshua Kushner, a surprise after rumors of a rift between her and Swift.
Beyond the music industry, Swift also made sure to invite celebrities she’s bonded with over the years, like Marisa Hargitay from Law & Order: SVU. Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Ethan Hawke, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jessica Chastain added to the A-list hype. Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser, a longtime Swift fan, also scored an invite, as did The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
Of course, several athletes were on Kelce’s side of the aisle, including his Kansas City Chiefs teammates and head coach Andy Reid. Other NFL players, including LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, were also there. Kelce brought sports broadcasters to the party in Erin Andrews and Greg Olsen, who are also retired NFL players. Abby Wambach, who attended with wife Glennon Doyle, represented soccer, while NFL commissioner Roger Goodell joined the festivities.
Over the last few months, speculation swirled surrounding the location, guest list, and more. The New York Times reported that on Thursday, July 2 the couple would host “an intimate gathering of about 100 people” and the following day they would hold a larger event with “about 1,000 guests,” citing an “entertainment industry executive and another person with knowledge of the matter.”
Amtrak police officers in charge of Penn Station, which sits underneath MSG, confirmed to the publication that they were “told to expect a Swift wedding the weekend of July 4.” NYPD officers also told Variety they were “briefed about a potential influx of Taylor Swift fans, paparazzi and onlookers” surrounding the venue on July 3. The Times also reported that a permit was filed in the city for the streets surrounding the venue to be closed between July 2 to midday July 4, affecting traffic during the Fourth of July long weekend.
The pair, who met in 2023, announced their engagement last August via their social media accounts, where Swift quipped “your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Swift revealed that she first took interest in the Kansas City Chiefs player when he “adorably” mentioned her on his podcast, New Heights. “I thought was metal as hell,” she told Time in a rare interview in 2023. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”
In 2024, Kelce appeared onstage at Wembley Stadium during The Tortured Poets Department segment of the Eras Tour. For Swift’s part, she’s attended several of his games with the Chiefs, including the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowls (the Chiefs won in 2024).
Swift has described their romance as something straight out of a movie. “This kind of felt more like I was in an Eighties John Hughes movie, and he was standing outside of my window with boom box, just being like, ‘I want to date you,'” she said on New Heights while announcing her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl. “This is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”
“When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with. We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the fuck off,” Kelce told GQ.
husband watching tombstone: wouldn’t it be something if no one ever clarified to cas how long he was gone and he just assumed from jacks age that it was like 20 years
my theory on why deancrit destiel shippers are Like That is bc they hate the miscommunication trope and have to hammer it into an abuser/victim dynamic instead of acknowledge that 90% of dean and cas’ issues stem from them not understanding what the other is trying to convey
Sorry Communists I guess but if you're going to make a map of all of the attempted regime changes by America and you're going to include Vichy France, Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy, and God knows what other stupid bullshit that I'm missing my response is not going to be oh my God we're so awful for overthrowing Vichy France it's going to be well I guess the CIA isn't that bad.
this is because i’ve been watching the remastered edition of the x files and been a little stunned because i KNEW mulder and scully inhabited each other’s space but it’s like.... waaayy more obvious (to the point of bordering on ridiculous) when there’s suddenly all this extra space on either side of them and they don’t HAVE to be that close because of blocking designed for a 4:3 screen. and dean and cas are doing this with absolutely no excuse. one of the funniest things i’ve ever seen
Dean presents as an omega on a hunt….except this doesn’t take place in the omegaverse, it’s the result of a curse from a chronically online witch so they have no fucking clue what’s happening to him.
Cas isn't an alpha, but maybe his true form still takes up space outside of his vessel and Dean can scent it and it smells fucking amazing.
But Dean can't actually see anything, and Cas actually takes up a lot of space so Dean just thinks he loves the smell of Baby and the bunker. It just "smells like home"
And then Cas leaves to follow a lead on how to reverse the curse, and suddenly "home" doesn't smell like home anymore
Cas ends up having to leave his trench coat with Dean so he doesn’t go back to losing his mind and he’s constantly either wrapped up in it or deeply sniffing and making weird omega noises it while Sam looks on like this
People like to joke that Dean's a serial killer, hell there's a whole sub-genre of fic about it.
But you go look at Dean's face after he shoots that demon to save Sam. When they take a good five seconds to focus on Dean's face and show you how disturbed and upset he is that by killing that demon, he killed a human being, too.
And come back and tell me again that Dean is a serial killer.
Dean kills monsters for a living, and sometimes he enjoys it, but there's a hard line when it comes to humanity (excluding the MOC/DemonDean storyline, when Dean is not himself).
Dean clearly sees himself as the good guy, who has to do hard things, and he has his values, his ethics. Dean could never be a serial killer.
#also i will say he doesn't have a problem killing humans who are acting like monsters (aka killing innocent people)#for dean the category of monster is not limited to biology#but he is always killing to /save/ others#the saving people part is the whole point#and like. when ppl flippantly call him (or any of tfw really) serial killers it's like. no. that means something very specific#a serial killer kills for the killing itself. for joy and pleasure. and their own gratification.#and they prey on vulnerable people#monsters in spn will never be the 'oppressed minority' some fans want them to be#those metaphors may work in other monster media but not spn#monsters almost always have the upper hand and are stronger and harder to kill than any hunter will ever be#and the monsters are usually the ones preying on the vulnerable#the monsters are the 'serial killers' hunting down human victims#often killing BECAUSE they have an intense hatred for humans and get pleasure out of killing them#and hunters are saving people from /those/ serial killers via @angelsdean
Do you know how the American government has systemically stifled the global south? Do you know the communist revolutions America has squashed for their own greed? Do you know how they forced their own puppets into South America's political structure to undermine and exploit people of color? Do you know how the democrats constantly promise its voters and never fulfills those promises? The people Biden killed by funding the Palestinian genocide? The democrats you support?
I’m sorry that you spent months calling people evil for preferring Kamala Harris to Donald Trump and now you’re doubling down because you can’t deal with your complicity in what the Trump administration is doing but it’s not really my problem.
