That's Chris Evans??? You're telling me the person on the left is NOT Bradley Cooper? You really expect me to believe that??
Too often, it feels like we only hear about endangered species AFTER they've become extinct, biodiverse areas AFTER they've been destroyed, and charitable appeals AFTER they've failed.
Can we change that? Just this once?
Stretching over 3,800 hectares, the Rothbury Estate in Northumberland is abundant with opportunity. It’s the largest continuous area of land
The Wildlife Trust, a British charity dedicated to protecting and restoring wildlife, is trying to buy the so-called Rothbury Estate, an area of 3,800 hectares (9,390 acres / 38 million m²) of land to protect it.
They need to raise 30 million pounds to do so, and have raised just over 20 million so far. They need to raise the full amount by September 2026.
David Attenborough, who turned 100 years old this year, is campaigning for this appeal. Wouldn't it be nice if we could secure this area? I don't care if you see it as a birthday present for Sir Attenborough or as a present for future generations, but if you have a few pounds to spare, please consider donating at the link above (if you don't want to click on a link, you can just google "Rothbury Estate appeal"). The Wildlife Trust is a real, vetted charity in the UK.
Let's protect this land, protect the wild animals that live there, and keep this land out of the greedy hands of developers. Let's keep this land wild. For animals, for trees, for future generations. For ourselves.
I'm tagging some tumblrs that seem to care about nature/sustainability or who have a large reach, hoping some will reblog this. All reblogs are very appreciated. Please consider making a donation, if you can. If 500.000 people all donated 20 pounds, the target would be met!

Lou is SUCH a talented painter... Every time I see one of his paintings, I'm just in awe. And it was so cool that they used one of his paintings on SWAT!
i know right 🥹 i wish he’d post more progress videos or show his art more since he’s using the art account again. his style is so unique!! i also love just how much thought and detail goes into his pieces and i love finding out his thought processes and background to them.
the fact that the swat writers didn’t even know how talented he was, just that he painted, so they asked him to make something. and he completely shocked them with how amazing and beautiful it was 🥰
thanks for giving me the opportunity to share some of my favourites of his!!
Love the compilation, thank you! I had never seen the crocodile one (pic 4) before! Imagine not knowing someone is such a good painter and they are like "I can make something to use on the show" and then they show up with the painting in the last pic?? OMG?? Sidenote, the Medusa painting would make such a fun jigsaw puzzle!

happy fathers day
Imagine having a hate crime committed against you when you're seventeen years old, it gets photographed and posted online, and eight years later people are calling YOU (an Asian-Canadian man) racist because of it. And yes, someone drawing a swastika on the face of a person of color is a hate crime. Even if he is still friends with the people who did it (I don't know if he is). Forgiveness doesn't make him the perpetrator or a racist, holy shit
"He must have known what they drew on his face" - He was drunk
"He should have wiped it off" - It's sharpie
"I would NEVER hang out with people who do this" - You don't know what people will do to you until they do it
