First of all, this is genius and the sound must be on. I have a lot of comments. This was a LOT of work. Not just the animation... but the lovely and adorable handmade creatures themselves. The kids on TikTok think that just because he was a classic country singer, Johnny Cash was conservative??? My babies he covered a Nine Inch Nails song in his seventies.
Classic country singers (the majority of which came from poor roots) were always talking about how much The Man sucked because they were taking money from poor rural folk. You’re gonna tell me that’s conservative?? Get outta here.
And somehow on the opposite side of the scale with the same exact opinion the conservative kids say “I like the old country music, because there’s no politics to it” Woodie Guthrie’s got a “this machine kills fascists” sticker on his guitar? You think there’s no politics in 9 to 5 or Folsom Prison Blues?!
For anyone confused there was a sudden and dramatic shift in the country music genre. It used to be a genre fixated on the experiences of people. Lived or common experiences that resonated with the common people. It was music that you listened to and it thrummed in tune to your soul because you had lived it yourself. And a lot of that was about ordinary people getting ground up in the gears of society.
The hyper patriotism, beer, and trucks chimera we have now didn't show up until after 9/11 and the world is lesser for it
Allow me to post the entire lyrics to the Johnny Cash song "Man in Black", released in nineteen goddamn seventy-one and written about why he always wore black onstage:

That right there is an anti-war, anti-bigot, anti-mass-incarceration, anti-war-on-drugs (Cash was an addict in various stages of recovery who was pissed as hell about how this country treats people with substance issues), eat-the-rich protest song. And it was arguably his signature song, his personal manifesto. Notice that even the Jesus reference, which today would be a signal that the song is about to drop some racist dogwhistles, segues immediately into a line about "the road to happiness through love and charity". As in "Motherfucker, our shared god said love thy neighbor and care for the poor and the outsider, and we both know he didn't fucking stutter." He's throwing shade at self-described Christians who use his religion as a cudgel to beat people with.
Johnny Cash wasn't a conservative. I'm pretty sure if he were alive and in reasonably good health today, he'd knock Jason Aldean's teeth out (or, failing that, write a song so devastatingly memetic about how much Aldean sucks that Aldean would never work in music again).
Johnny Cash was punk rock. He just happened to be punk rock in the body of a country singer.

I am begging people to understand that reproductive rights is as much the right to become and remain pregnant as it is to terminate a pregnancy.
Encouraging all people capable of being pregnant to get their tubes tied or get a hysterectomy isn’t the solution you think it is.
Most people who get abortions do so because they want to be able to get pregnant in the future.
Back-alley abortions often leave people unable to become pregnant again, even if they want to. Legal, safe abortion ensures that a person can terminate a pregnancy while still retaining the option and ability to become pregnant again.
PoC, disabled people, and trans and intersex people have historically been barred from the right to get pregnant and reproduce. These marginalized groups have faced sterilization and maternal mortality for a long time.
If you think reproductive justice is only about the right to *not* be pregnant, you are woefully misinformed.
Reproductive justice means people should be able to control their own bodies, whether it means ending or preventing a pregnancy, or becoming pregnant and remaining pregnant.
Reproductive justice means that healthcare providers should and must address the barriers and dangers PoC, disabled people, and trans and intersex people face when it comes to obstetrics and gynecology.
Reproductive justice means lowering the maternal mortality rate for black people in America.
Reproductive justice means not sterilizing disabled people and providing safe options for disabled people who want to become pregnant.
Reproductive justice means acknowledging that trans people may want to become pregnant and not mandating they be sterilized in order to legally transition.
Reproductive justice means not sterilizing intersex babies and children in the attempt to make them fit into a dyadic, binary sex.
Reproductive justice is not just about abortions.

As such, the Spherus Magna Defense Force was founded, an organization dedicated to defending the city-states of Spherus Magna from foes both new and old, to be where the Toa could not be. These brave souls have pledged their lives in the defense of the agori, matoran, and other biomech and magnan races.
The Spherus Magna Defense Force utilize specialized Boxor variants to stand up to forces that threaten the lives of those in New Atero and the surrounding settlements. Designed by Nuparu in conjuncture with a few other agori engineers, the Guardian-class Boxor (pictured piloted by Onepu, Adjutant-Commander of the Spherus Magna Defense Force) here was designed for and specializes in halting rogue glatorian, lower level Dark Hunters, and powerful rahi beasts. A second, mostly precautionary design purpose (per the request of the Order of Mata Nui and Toa Command), is to be able to stand toe-to-toe physically with most Toa in the event of one of them going AWOL. Again… purely a precaution… right?
