phones made us forget desire requires space
I think lesbian chasers are kinda hot, I've had some mindblowing sex with girls who were absolutely fetishizing me, dunno if I should feel good about that or not
Been right there with you. And honestly? I salute them
FEMALE CHASER: youāre like the perfect form. a beautiful blend of man and woman. I used to fantasise about people like you existing. youāre so brave and perfect and youāre my good girl and everythingās going to be okay forever I promise
MALE CHASER: will you dress like my daughter
There are two types of writers:
1. 'It's fiction, it doesn't need to make sense!'
2. 'I didn't account for the rotation of the planet and how that affects the constalations while my characters stargazed at different times of year, I have failed as a writer, and this entire thing is trash'
How To With John Wilson (2020)
Being demisexual and bi is funny to me. Anyone can hit it but you must suffer The Gauntlet first
You must answer me my riddles three
You must jingle your little jester hat in a tone that doth please me
never thought iād be saying this as a nepali person but the rest of the world has a lot to learn from nepal when it comes to revolution lol
young people literally spent two days showing the full force of their wrath against a horrific, corrupt system run by politicians that embezzled away every single cent of citizen money. they protested, and when the cops turned to violence, they did too. many of the biggest and most corrupt politicians (including the prime minister) were forced to resign, had their houses swarmed by crowds of furious people, were beat within an inch of their lives, and had their money thrown out onto the streets.
real, actual change is on the way in a country plagued by exploitation and poverty and corruption for DECADES because the population rallied together behind the sheer force of the young population and their anger - so much so that itās being called the gen z revolution. THIS is how revolutions come about when every attempt to use peaceful means is met with bullets and suppression and social media bans in an effort to shut people up. and i think the west has a lot to learn about what true revolution and true progression is, because the way that our political discourse is so weak and watered down and pushed to be āfriendlyā and āunderstandingā is so pathetic at times. THERE IS NO NEGOTIATING WITH YOUR OPPRESSORS.
'all forms of political violence is bad' read it and weep losers
Corensupes x Battinson please make out
they remind me of a dog and cat
Vague Superman spoilers ahead but what does it say about movies lately that I was genuinely surprised that they beat the bad guys without some big catch or sacrifice. Like sure there little things and emotional ramifications but at the end of the day they won.
Lex even tried to do the whole āforce the hero to make an impossible choiceā thing and it didnāt work because Superman asked his friends for help!
Anyway Iām just obsessed with the theme of āGood can win. It may be hard and it may seem hopeless at times but with love and friendship and a radical determination to save as many people as you possibly can, good can win.ā
This Superman is such a sweetie. Heās kind to the robots. He makes his girlfriend breakfast for dinner. He pretends he doesnāt care what social media thinks of him but gets genuinely upset over juvenile name calling. He tortured a despot with a cactus but the spines āwerenāt that big.ā He tries to capture the giant monster alive. He loves people and does his best to help them and heās not an idiot he knows people are complicated, but heās genuinely heartbroken when they turn on him. The idea of him having a harem is utterly ridiculous. He loses it over a pain-in-the-ass dog. He makes fun of the despot for pissing his pants. He wept at seeing an innocent man murdered. His open devastation over Maliās murder is part of what brings Metamorpho to take the risk of helping him. He saves that weird baby. He saves a squirrel. He not only would not fuck his clone, he killed him. He makes that shithead Lex cry. His flirting with Lois is so swagless and unsubtle that her boss immediately clocks that theyāre together. He loves his parents. Heās good all the way down, not because he was born that way but because he chooses to be.
James Gunnās thesis statement for his Superman is simple and effective: "Be good. Do good. Be human despite the bad things. That is the most punk rock thing in a world so stoic and cynical."
And thatās how it should be. Thatās beautiful, the new Superman movie is beautiful.
the sunlight on our skin, and all the other things that make us human
