Sensory ✨Overload✨

Adam Glenn, and a few of his struggles surviving on Earth…… where no one really understood how different he was… and he had to discover himself how strange and varied the divide was between the Biology of Eternians and Earthians……

From being a weak “Squink” to a freak that no one would take seriously… and if they did take him seriously?? It was because they thought he was Fucking crazy, or lost in his own Delusions.

• Headcannons of Adam’s Earth Era.

(LETS GOOOOO, I’VE GOT MORE THOTS BITCHESS!!!) 😘

• Audio overload……

It’s all just too much for him... like seriously, Good golly does that sweet sad little white boi need some of those chunky noise canceling headphones every time he leaves for work… or goes shopping… or for anything really.….

If you think about it, there isn’t a lot of constant artificial noise happening around Eternia… Which for the Eternians and all the other races living on the planet.. that’s perfect!

It’s drastically different on our world, like the every day subtle background noise from all the technology we have on Earth… it’s distracting at best, but deeply Overstimulating at it’s worst!!

Again, the Eternian’s are descended from an ancient Race of Tribal warriors and hunters, with very strong instinctive and biological animalistic traits… so It really makes sense they’d have more sensative hearing built in to their genetics used for tracking and hunting for Thousands of years….

Now their hearing definitely isn’t nearly quite at an insane superhuman level or anything…..

But it’s just enough of a problem (especially for a growing child like Adam, who is more than likely also on the Neurodivergent spectrum.) when suddenly introduced to an extremely different environment.

After Adam is sent to Earth it’s all EXTREMELY overwhelming for him, poor baby Adam was just so jumpy for the first EIGHT MONTHS!!

because there was just SO MUCH happening all around him, ALL THE TIME!!!

(Which of course, watching him just jumping at the small click of a PEN, obviously gave officials the impression that he was a very, VERY traumatized child. They also thought Adam was either a victim of human trafficking, or an escape of some secretive Cult family because he had NO RECORDS at all of his existence…. Also him talking about how he’s an Alien Prince pointed to the Cult idea too.)

Even little sounds that Humans go unbothered by are down right overstimulating to him, (click a pen, it’s so sudden and unexpected that he’ll flinch every time.) because he’s also hearing damn near everything else.…. And Adam never quite gets used to it… no matter how long he’s been on Earth for……

Part of Adam being so Spaced out, Clumsy, and Distracted all the time is him trying his best to just slow down and listen to the sounds around him that he knows he SHOULD be listening too past all the present background buzzing, clicking, chittering and all the other noises of Human Tech.

Noise canceling earbuds are a fucking gift from the GODDESS herself, for his sanity at Work…..

Speaking of his work…

Daryl is most definitely the Office thief.

Daryl “accidentally” took his earbuds once, and his morning coffee…. And his WORST offense!!Daryl ate Adam’s favorite leftovers…

From his favorite Indian restaurant, ate it right out of the office fridge!!! He Didn’t even heat it up!! He just ate it COLD…

God he hates Daryl…..

Also, he loves white noise machines…..

Adam couldn’t sleep properly for WEEKS when his old White Noise machine had completely fried itself in the middle of his College exams, and of course just to make things more difficult…

It was a very specific model that helped to drown out almost everything and allowed him to actually get some good sleep….

It took him two six hour drives (plus traffic), 140$ bucks, and a Whole damn weekend to find the right replacement that worked…..

One of his earlier Foster families did really help him to get an official Diagnosis for being on the Spectrum, and a PTSD Diagnosis….

Unfortunately for him though, Earth meds are kinda DOGSHIT for his half Magical-Alien DNA… Thankfully Eternia has meds that actually help….. Once he gets home anyway…. He’s raw Dogging that shit for Fifteen Fucking years on Earth….

He’s in Hell for like… 75% of the time…..

Poor baby… He Hates crowds so much…..

Public transport is absolutely NEVER! an option for him… you saw how horrible he is at Driving! He’s doing it because he Has too…

If he could just use a bus or train, without losing all his sanity? than yeah, he would NOT be Driving literally ANYWHERE!!!!

Unfortunately, driving himself is the only way he can get around and not want to scratch his ears off the whole ride……

(what about his Headphones? I hear You ask?? The thing about that is.. he only wears them if he’s gonna be walking somewhere… because then he’s at least still paying attention to his surroundings…. because the one time he tried using them on the Bus.. he instantly passed out like a Rock for half the day…. Nobody bothered him because they didn’t want to risk having discovered a DEAD BODY, and loosing their own time with being questioned by authorities…. Yep, he was that unconscious, people thought he was Dead. Luckily this was all happening during the Weekend and he was just trying to go grocery shopping…. Adam was so embarrassed when he finally woke up and apologetic to the Bus driver… who to her credit was just relieved he was alive, and she hadn’t just been driving around with a body in her Bus the whole time… ) 😬

• Nocturnal refuge…… (Baby has Migraines)

So yeah… In my mind, (and any future Fanfic’s plus Thot writings I have for this He-Man universe.)

Our baby boi Adam Glenn is absolutely 💯 on the Neurodivergent spectrum, he has PTSD from his escape to Earth, he’s got Depression, and he Also suffers from chronic Migraines… (again because of how sensitive his eyes are to Electronic Artificial Light, and on top of that, his hearing sensitivity to Earth-Tech noises…)

So for Adam, the nearly Quiet, almost Peaceful experience he has during Nighttime is particularly important for his everyday life, a refuge for him to unwind a little and just… Exist…. It’s not Perfectly quiet.. but most of the strange noises from Earths technology isn’t as intense… especially if he takes the time to walk around one of the Parks.. as long as he doesn’t look up to the One lonely Moon up in Earths night sky… he can almost fool himself a little bit into thinking he’s finally back home……

Sometimes he’ll even hum some tunes he still remembers from his childhood… music that used to play in the palace during celebrations…..

Or a song he remembered the people would play in the Streets and Markets, Teela used to bring him and Cringer around there sometimes, usually just so they could play somewhere away from the prying eyes of the royal guards, or it was because they were just carefully picking something out to give Queen Marlena, Adam always loved getting random trinkets for his Mother… he’s just so freaking sweet… we love a precious little mamma’s boy…. 🥹

(Adam heard about “Mothers day” from Marlena once when he was really little, and asked her about Earth… and it really stuck with him.. he didn’t really know when the holiday was supposed to be, so for him, Mother’s Day happened at least once a month… and he would always get something for her.)

The problem with Adam wandering the Streets or City Parks in the middle of the Night, getting lost in his memories, humming away to these songs that simply Don’t exist on Earth….

Innocently… Absentmindedly Standing Straight up at his full hight while his (normally) Hazel Eyes are randomly catching what small amounts of light that surrounds him, making his Eyes Glow in the fucking dark…..

He’s unknowingly become one of Oklahoma’s most famous and Haunting Cryptids in the last few years…. Many people having dubbed him the “NightWalker” A giant who Steals the Souls of anyone who hears his Soft Angelic voice, and is unfortunate enough to meet his Glowing Eyes…

Poor Adam has absolutely no idea whatsoever that HE is this spooky “NightWalker”

Yes, he’s heard of it… mostly from some people at Work who have the Late shift, huddled around the water cooler sharing their “Close Encounters” of this new and frightening local Cryptid…..

He does believe that the NightWalker is real… it’s just the only One who knows the Cryptid is him… is Adam’s Roommate Hussein… because Hussein has seen Adam standing up at his full height, with the Lights out, and his Eyes Glowing….

Because that’s what Hussein sees Every time he’s accidentally caught Adam in the middle of eating his Midnight snacks in their apartment……

Hussein just doesn’t have the heart to tell Adam…

• Magical Deprivation & Lethargy……

(Like Seasonal Depression? But for 15 years STRAIGHT!!!)

Earth was once Vibrant and Flourishing with Magic and many Mythical Creatures galore~

However….. Earth’s Magic has since Died away, leaving the planet a husk of its former glory….

But many of its previous Mystical inhabitants have survived that death…. One way or another… the Unicorns.. Griffins.. The Fae.. Dragons…

Among many more Creatures had fled the World eventually founding their own refuge within the Unafflicted waiting embrace of other Dimensions and Worlds….

Moving onward to suitable Planets with Magical reserves that were not in danger of Dying away... leaving the poor creatures physically ill from the loss of Magic in the atmosphere….

Those worlds had one thing in common.. they all had shared what many Eternian Scholars of today have dubbed a Myth Gate…..

These Myth Gates were a strange and unusual phenomenon… Even in Ancient times their origins were unknown and their nature widely debated among Mages and Scholars…..

One such Myth Gate on Earth had led to a certain Planet, called Eternia… Eternia’s Gates that once connected to Earth closed after Earths Magic had died away…. At least on Earth’s side of the Gate….

There are still methods one could use (On Eternia) and reach out to Earth on the other side…. But.. Any who do would find themselves stranded on the Planet, with no way to return back home… and suffering from the world’s Loss of Magic…

Unless of course… if one was prepared and had the foresight to bring something with them……

As it turns out, Magical artifacts are unaffected by being thrust into a world Void of Magic like the current state of Modern Day Earth….

(Like the Sward of Power)

However… People.. Races who were born with even the smallest amount of Magic in their vains and Souls, Like the Eternian’s or a Half Eternian like Adam…. They aren’t as lucky…

I mentioned earlier that Adam, during his time on Earth, suffers from Depression? Well It’s mostly caused by this very phenomenon…. His body is responding to what is basically a form of Trauma.. he always has this uncomfortable crawling feeling of Lethargy at some level… some days are a little better than others…

Due to some Isakai level of shenanigans that have happened on Earth in the past… there are random artifacts across the planet that have some Aura of Magic he’s found that gave him (at least a temporary) form of Relief from that feeling….

One being a strange pocket watch with the face of a screaming Green-Man on it that he got at an Antique store for only Three dollars (pretty SUS considering it was in Damn near pristine condition, Adam didn’t even know why he bought it… he just… did?)

But then it kinda… just… disappeared one night?

He doesn’t know how… and quite frankly?

The Watch actually freaked him out soooo… 👀

Adam… doesn’t like to think about it anymore…. even his skeptical roommate Hussein was pretty sure that the Watch was Cursed… or Haunted….

(.. yeah.. in case you’re wondering.. it was Haunted)

Hussein was visibly relieved when the Watch was just straight up gone one morning…

It’s become one of those things that neither of them will talk about, because of how freaky the whole thing was…..

• Conclusion?….. he’s a very sweet sad little Magical-Girl who really needs his fantastical environment to thrive in…. 🥺

So… not only is Adam half a Species with innate Magic on a Planet whose Magic DIED, he’s also the living Vessel of an Ancient Cosmic Power as the literal True Chosen one to inherit the Strength and power of his Mighty Ancestor who was the Champion of The Goddess herself…

The One.. The Only… King MOTHERFUCKING D’Vann Grayskull!!!! (No pressure or anything right!?) don’t worry you’re doing great sweetie!

Baby’s felt Lethargic as fuck from the total Void of Magic in Modern Earth’s atmosphere, which again, made Adam Depressed ever since he got tossed into that big ass Lake in Oklahoma….

(Oh yeah… Fun fact, he almost DROWNED in that Lake.)

(My dad’s a total NERD and so naturally I watched a lot of the same shows/cartoons he did as a kid, He-Man, She-Ra, Thundercats, SilverHawks, OG Transformers. All of which I absolutely Loved. I am also… A huge fucking Nerd.) ❤️

Ok but can we also discuss how Adam is an artist holy hell. All of the stuff around his room is so well done like I like to think of him honing his craft simply to get a better look into the world he left behind… but gosh being able to draw is so endearing to me. I want him to draw me.

Adam might be able to breathe out one tiny little Whimpering noise from his throat before he just… Slooowly inches forward, grabs his sketchbook... and immediately runs away and hides in his room falling face down on his pillow, and proceeds to yell incoherently for probably the next hour…..

Then to make matters worse, he’ll be Dreaming about it for like a Month minimum….

The Girl he Loves…. wearing an Eternian Gown, and looking like a Goddess dripped in shades of gold and decorated in Cosmic stardust….. 🫣

Which of course then quickly derails into Adam picturing her in an ethereal Wedding dress like the One he saw his Mother wearing from his parents Wedding Portraits in the grand halls of the Palace

And just like that he’s Screaming in his pillow again….. 😖

Even if it’s no longer part of the current culture, it’s still an innate Instinct all Eternian’s have….

And the Poor Baby just feels so embarrassed and ashamed over his Desire… especially if he’s not even Dating the person yet… the person who just so happens to be his BEST FRIEND….

Yet he still Desperately wants to leave his Mark on them because he’s just way too far gone and Hopelessly in Love….

And he wishes…. Nay… he DREAMS of the possibility of the One he Loves Marking him!

With hungry kisses and them sinking Their own teeth Deep into His flesh… Dreams that leave him Whimpering in total Agony because it just felt so real… And then the crash of Shame digs into his little Heart and he can’t help thinking the worst of himself for being so Obsessed over someone he believes doesn’t Love him, at least not the way he Yearns and Pines for over Them!

The Twiggy little Monkey Grandpa looked me over with a scrutinizing glance as he handed me a cup of water… his words taking a little longer to register in my head while I suddenly froze and just stared at my own hand as I was mid reach for the cup he held out.. but once it did.. I blinked a few times before I shouted in shock, voice crack and all..

“Uhm… excuse me.. The FUCK.. DO YOU MEAN DEATHLESS??? WHAT AM I??? A-And why in the Bloody Hell am I GREEN?!? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?!?!”

I was starting to breathe heavily.. and feeling a bit dizzy.. am I… FUCK am I seriously of all things.. having a goddamn panic attack right now!?!?!

I started pinching and pulling at my hair.. trying to calm myself down…. Wait.. why is my hair so long? It.. it wasn’t like that before was it.. hold on.. AND IT’S BLOODY PEACH PINK NOW!?!?

Part one, Loss and Wandering..

A Strange Maiden appears, awaiting her Prince Of Stone to break her Dreamless Sleep~

(A Monkey’s vew..)

Mount Huaguo was relatively quiet as its simian residents went about their daily routines..

All except One, that is.. the Nameless Prince rested high in the branches as the sun rose in the morning sky.. the Stars still faintly visible from above the horizon, although.. his attention was focused…. elsewhere.

For days, he’d felt this sense of unease creeping over him.. and this mysterious and sudden change in the wind’s direction only seemed to confirm in his mind that Something, somehow.. has made its way here to their people’s Home..

And this Something was calling to him.. every now and then his nose would catch the sweetest scent, and every time it captured his attention.. putting him almost in a trance before it would disappear in a moment.. leaving him desperately searching all over the Mountain for where it could have gone… this Overwhelming urge the Young Master had to find the source of the sweet scent of Spring-water and Lillies, to protect it with every ounce of strength he had to give…

It was driving him mad!!

“Big brother! Big brother come, come quickly!!! Come see, Come see come see!!”

One of the small Monkeys was now trying to climb up to where he was on the Tree, their little tongue sticking out at the corner of their mouth as they concentrated on their all important task.. the Prince snickered slightly at the little one..

He greatly enjoyed his time when the little ones sought him out, whether it was to play games, pranks or just to show him something they found interesting… he also liked how they didn’t call him Young Master like most of the others did on the island.. they just saw him as their big brother..

He quirked a brow at the little one, and with a faint smirk on his lips he leaned back with his arms behind his head, closing his large brown eyes.. pretending not to hear the Monkey child calling him, though he kept his tail ready to catch them if they fell.. the last thing he wanted was to face the wrath of Mother Jiā Qí, and spend the next Season cleaning the old caves and listening to her sharp tongued lectures..

Before long the little Monkey was climbing up his body till they were clinging to his face, chirping impatiently and trying to open his eyes by squishing and pulling on his face..

“Big brother must see!!! Must must must!! Big flower!! Found BIIIIG flower! Smells funny!!”

NOW THAT got his attention! Something new that the adventurous little Monkeys hadn’t seen before? A flower with a strange smell?? It HAS to be the source of the sweet scent that’s been taunting him for so long! This can’t possibly be a coincidence..

In a swift motion he scrufed the little One off his face and sat straight up, his large eyes wide and alert as the child cheered and chirped at finally getting the Warriors attention.. with a nod and tilt of his head He asked to be shown the way..

However long the path was it seemed to him that it passed him like a blur.. the excitement pounding in his ears as the same Sweet scent grew stronger the closer he got, not caring for the odd looks he got from the other Warriors and Monkeys he passed.. paying them all no mind as word spread of The Prince’s behavior, like he was on a hunt. He didn’t even notice that Elders and Warriors alike were starting to follow..

At the end the young child lead him to a pond, where he remembered a small lonely land mass in the center of its calm waters…. But now.. on that land mass stood a massive Lotus blossom.. the petals shifting in hues of many colors.

He was mesmerized by it… unable to control himself as he approached the glowing Lotus, One Warrior foolishly tried to pull him back but all that earned him was the Prince growling and baring his teeth.. before he turned and quickly climbed up the tallest tree at the edge of the pond, then swung across on a sturdy vine and landed right in front of the Flower.. his head almost felt dizzy with how strong that Sweat sent was now..

The Lotus seemed to react to his presence, shaking slightly as the Petals began to fall… Revealing a Massive Jade Pearl that pulsated like a heart as it swirled in shades of Green and Blue… with something moving inside.. looking closer he could see the silhouette of… a person?? A Woman!

Hesitantly The Monkey Prince raised a hand and gently laid it onto the cool silky surface of the Jade-Pearl.. shocking him when his palm started to sink into it, by instinct he swiftly pulled his hand away as he caught a glimpse of the person inside.. his large Brown eyes grew wider at the sight of what he could only describe as a sleeping Goddess.. and again he felt this overwhelming need to Protect, like every fiber of his being yearned to hold her and keep her safe.. his tail swaying in a… very noticeable manner to the Elders that watched the scene unfold as the fellow Warriors were confused and itching with concern as the Prince continued in interacting with the strange object..

The Prince circled around the Pearl, trying to find a way to free the Woman from inside it.. tail twitching in anticipation as he finally decided.

Standing firm and shoving his hand through the Pearl as shouts and shrieks erupted from the audience that spectated the event..

He found one of her hands and gently grabbed it.. unconsciously intertwining their fingers together as he carefully pulled her out.. while the Jade Pearl rippled like water when the Young Monkey touched it, it cracked apart and shattered as the Woman was slowly pulled out.. the Jade shards flaking into dust.

First to emerge was her delicate hand.. soft pale green skin and slender fingers, then a pair of Jade bangles around her wrist as her bare arms were revealed. Then a sight of curled hair the color of ripe Peaches as her head broke free, revealing a sweet and lovely face, thick long curling lashes concealing her eyes from his vew, her ears slightly pointed, and round pouty lips parted as she breathed in and out…

Continually undisturbed in a state of sleep as her head lulled to the side and landed on the Monkey’s strong shoulder as he reached out to grab her waist, catching her as the rest of her body fell from the Pearl, limp but warm in his arms as she was finally freed… however leaving the two of them in a rather intimate position.. as though they were Dancing.. and with her body pressed into his, he could feel the warmth of her skin and subtle beating of her heart against his exposed chest.. the low neckline of her clothes threatened to have her cleavage touching him… almost making him wish he wore his ropes more properly that day.…….. almost..

Her attire was very odd, not like anything even the oldest of the Elders had ever seen before?

The way it left almost nothing to the imagination, her Dress bodice snugly shaped her curved figure around her waist and seemed to push up her chest slightly, leaving a certain amount of cleavage on display with nothing but a braided rope made from the same elaborate woven Silk as her bodice framing the top and extending across her shoulders like a strap with some sort of Peach brooch decorating each side were the braided silk separated from her Bodice.

Across her bosom was a delicate draping of nearly shear fabric, the very same used to overlay the Woven Silk of her enormous flowing skirt that seemed to stop near her ankles.. and a pair of matching Silk slippers covered her feet.

And behind her, previously hidden by her long curls just over her rear were her tight bodice stopped and her large puffy skirt began, were Lotus flowers made from dyed silk..

The Pearl she was entrapped in now gone and forgotten as what remained of the Lotus melted away like water… But leaving behind what looked like a Jade Needle hairpin in its place..

The slightly flustered Monkey gently moved to carry her in his arms.. her long hair falling and just barely brushing his tail, her sweet face nestled on his shoulder before falling forward and landing at the crook of his neck, her soft lips ghosting his bristling fur as her gentle breath met his skin underneath, causing him to shiver at the partial kiss.. his tail twitching as it wrapped around and carefully picked up the Jade hairpin for her..

He couldn’t help admiring her, noticing a necklace with a mix of different sizes Jade beads and a large oval pendant hung from around her neck, the Beads themselves looked as though they each came from different pieces, some cracked or blemished and the Carving on the Pendant no longer recognizable..

A sentimental decoration he thought strange for a Goddess to wear with such love and pride…. Like a cherished heirloom.

He was so distracted by the Jade Beauty resting peacefully in his arms, that he hadn’t noticed many of the young Monkeys came together to push a large log carved hollow like a boat into the Pond’s water and began paddling it towards the small island..

….. And Mother Jiā Qí waiting patiently on the other side of the water… a knowing smile hidden on her stern face, and his own Master The Elder standing beside her.. stroking his chin as he observed the Prince’s almost possessive and over protective behavior as he growled and snapped at any of the other young Warriors, if he deemed they got to close to the Woman resting peacefully in his arms.

A behavior the Old Monkey knows all to well having witnessed it every season for many centuries and generations among the Warriors of Mount Huaguo…. However.. he knew all too well that this Young and reserved Prince had never before displayed interest in courting behavior in the previous Mating seasons since his coming of age.. having soundly rejected every Maiden and Warrior on the Mountain that tried to woo him..

How very strange indeed…

One last Day to be Human~

(“The Woman” her memories before the Lotus Bloom)

The earliest memory She had, was of her Father joyfully telling her stories of his favorite hero in any folklore he’d ever studied.. Reading to her from an old set of worn out hardcover copies of the great novel Journey To The West that His grandmother had given him when he was child..

those books were her Father’s treasure.. and nothing made him happier than to read the Story of The Great Monkey King to his little girl..

Their home was small, and filled with seemingly random decor and furniture.. however there was a not so subtle theme of anything that reminded her father of his special interest.. including a gorgeous set of curtains he’d gotten at a garage sale, likely made back in the 70’s.. a Silk fabric that shifted from dark blue to green.. and depicted a Mountainous forest Landscape with tiny monkeys hiding in some of the trees.. 25$ and he got away like a bandit..

Well.. a Bandit with way to many curtains for a small one man (at least at the time) duplex town home.. they hung up on every window in the house and he still had a whole set of three pairs put away in storage.. among other knickknacks he’d collected over the years and didn’t have space to put them up.

Her father.. a fun loving child at heart who was always passionate about telling stories, working at both the local Library and the Museum.. the Museum being where he met her mother, and that’s about the only thing she ever knew about that Woman.. and the fact she had left them one night. Leaving her Father all alone to raise her on his own..

Her Father was the most precious thing in her life.

When she was seven, her Great-aunt had moved in with them, She was a kind but stern woman.. the little girl had no idea the reason why Auntie now lived with them.. was because her Father grew ill.. he wanted to make sure someone would be there for his little girl… if he got worse…

Her Aunt taught her how to sew, and she absolutely fell in love with being able to make things from her own clothes, to quilts and pillows.. her Father would proudly put on display everything she made.. even though it wasn’t all that good at the time.

By the time she was in high school her father gave her those extra silk curtains to make anything she wanted out of them..

first thing she did was make a sundress for herself and a matching tie for her Father, he wore that tie every day to work..

When he asked her what else she wanted to make from the rest of the fabric… he just about cried when she told him she wanted to save the rest to make her wedding dress one day.. because it would be something of him she could keep forever… he never did have the heart to tell her he was sick.. but she found out anyway.

And then… after her Graduation, he passed away..

At first… she just felt numb.. like it couldn’t be real.. it had to be a bad dream… then for months her grief turned to rage..

Until eventually she just.. tried to move forward as best she could.. more or less just Existing then Living… his absence from her life.. it hurt for so many years, it never stopped hurting..

But.. every now and then, she would read from her father’s books.. the story of the Monkey King was always there to make her feel like her father was still with her.. as if he never left….

After a few years her Aunt finally had it.. watching the Girl practically give up on her own passions.. something her Father never would have wanted.. so the Older woman just about twisted her arm to finally go to Costume College like how she told her father she would before his illness had gotten worse..

For a while she studied long distance since the School was in London.. but after She proved she was sticking to it, her Aunt helped her move to England, even found her an apartment..

As a moving present, her Aunt gave her a beautiful old antique puzzle box that belonged to her Great Grandmother… and inside it was a collection of Jade bead necklaces.. though mostly all broken and damaged, they were still lovely..

The girl restrung two necklaces out of the remaining intact beads.. one necklace for her, and one for her Aunt…

As for her life in England.. it was definitely a change of pace she desperately needed to distract herself from her grief..

Garage sales and thrift shops were her favorite places to get material for all of her projects from the school.. always leaning towards anything that had bright colors and interesting patterns..

Even made herself a fitted suit with puffed sleeves out of a pair of old tablecloths that had a tapestry design.. and vintage buttons to match.

The last assignment she could remember.. was to make something unique to wear at the upcoming Folklore Ball held at the University…

So she decided to make the Dress she told her father about… made from those beautiful old curtains her father gave her.. the Wedding Dress of her dreams… and she did..

A corset bodice tea length ballgown, with cording and stitched in padding for shaping the corset instead of using boning.. cutting strips of the curtain fabric and braiding them together to make the shoulder straps and binding for the bodice.. made little silk Lotus flowers to decorate the back of her skirt..

she even learned how to make shoes during one of her first project at the college, so she made a matching pair of slippers for her Dress out of the same fabric..

She wanted to cry when she put it all on for the first time.. knowing that if she did get Married in this Dress one day.. her father wouldn’t be there to walk her down the aisle.. but at least he’d be watching over her…. From wherever he is now..

The big day of College Ball came.. she was both nervous and excited.. so happy she finally made the Dress she always dreamed of as a little girl..

Wearing her dream Dress, the heirloom jade bead necklace, her handmade silk and leather shoes.. Now…all she had to do was take the bus to get from her apartment to the College Campus.. and the whole time it felt like… she was being watched??

She couldn’t figure it out!! The whole time this strange feeling was driving her mad!!

After getting off the bus and feeling slightly paranoid… she’d accidentally walked right into an old man with a cane, knocking him and herself onto the ground..

“OH SHIT!! Sir I’m so sorry, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere??” Without a moment’s hesitation she immediately rushed to help him, slowly lifting him off the floor and handing him back his cane.. the old man wore a white and tan knit sweater with yellow pants, white hair and a long beard with a kind smile..

He basically looked like the most wholesome grandpa she’d ever seen..

“Pardon me young lady.. i believe I wasn’t paying attention.. I spotted some lovely birds and got distracted.. I didn’t mean to startle you dear..”

The Grandpa tried to walk back to the Park across her College but nearly fell down again.. she quickly caught him.. feeling terrible for hurting such a sweet old man..

“Sir please.. I’m the one who ran into you, it’s my fault.. do you need help? I can walk you over to the park.. that’s where you were headed right??”

He smiled with an unnatural gleam in his eyes that She didn’t see, as she was busy watching the road for a safe crossing.. the Old man gently patted her hand she had holding his arms steady..

“You really are a kind girl.. well then… if you wouldn’t mind.. I was meeting an old friend there.. would you wait with me till she arrives??”

The young woman smiled back, she was so nervous that day she’d arrived several hours before the event would start.. so surely she had time to wait till this Grandpa’s friend arrived.. especially since he’s hurt because of her, there was no chance in HELL she would leave him alone before knowing he was going to be okay..

“Of course! Maybe you can tell me about your friend while we wait..”

Carefully she walked with the kind old man to the park, not caring about the stares she got from passing strangers as she was literally dressed in a Ball-Gown… and after a minute he pointed her towards an unusually Large Plum blossom Tree, with an intricate iron bench at its base with a view of a pond infront of it… and how strange… she never noticed that Tree or Pond being there before….. and she could swear she saw Lotus flowers in the water..

She did her best to ignore the odd feeling in her gut while helping the nice Grandpa rest on the bench while she sat next to him, waiting on his friend to arrive..

Suddenly the Grandpa looked like he just remembered something important.. now looking curiously at her.. “Oh my.. Young Lady you don’t have to worry so much about this old bag of bones, surely your boyfriend will miss you?”

She just laughed it off.. “No worries about that, I don’t have a boyfriend.. my College is just having an event today.. that’s why I’m dressed up.”

He smiled back and patted her hand again.. “That’s lovely dear.. I thought you would have a prince waiting for you.. but if it’s for school, are you sure it’s alright to be waiting here with me?”

Shaking her head just waved it off.. “Honestly.. you don’t have to worry.. I’ve got time.. anyway.. who’s your friend you’re waiting for?? Is she someone special to you?” This time he waved it off, chuckling at her teasing him..

“Oh.. we’ve worked together for a long time.. still do occasionally, we like to complain about the old boss for old times sake…. Tell me child.. is there really no one special in your life?? You’re a young kind woman.. and a pretty one too!”

She paused a moment.. she really didn’t have anyone special.. No Boyfriend or Girlfriend.. she really didn’t have any interest in anyone in her College either.. The only crush she ever had.. was kinda embarrassing to admit…

The hero of her Father’s stories.. Sun Wukong.

.. okay… The Monkey King, and The Witcher’s Geralt of rivia.. he’s pretty hot too….. Okay, okay.. And River Song from Dr. Who..

“I see… I believe you may indeed be a perfect match for Him..”

The old Grandpa’s voice startled her.. it sounded almost playful and surrounded her like an echo..

Then she suddenly realized she wasn’t in the park anymore! Instead she was sitting down on a pillow that seemed to float on an endless Ocean.. with Lotus Flowers everywhere…

And infront of her was a Lotus Flower big enough to be a giants throne.. and it was.. because a beautiful Giant woman sat on that very Lotus..

“Don’t judge her worth so swiftly, my dear friend.. She has yet to pass the trials..”

Before she could respond to the Giant Woman she Knew was none other then the Merciful Bodhisattva Guānyīn..

A circle of water below her started to vanish in a dark whirlpool.. the last thing she shouted before being sucked in was….

“WHAT THE FUC——-“

Black Myth Wukong: Strange Silent Love.

A Name for the Destined One? Mayhaps? 👀

In my mind Our Monkey is the youngest Son of Sun Wukong, he has maybe One memory of all his older siblings together, and a few foggy memories of his older Sister Yuebei Xing, who was the One who took care of him in place of a Mother due to him hatching nearly a century after the rest of his siblings.. and the fact none of them even HAD a Mother..

(yes I’m saying that THE Sun Wukong squatted like a chicken and laid stone eggs.. because that’s just hilarious to me.. using the Mpreg baby water on a day of boredom.. and to make the entire Heavenly Court shit bricks in anxiety over there being more of him.) 🤣

Anyway, She was the last one of his siblings to make the Journey to restore their father before the Young Monkey even began his training as a Warrior.. after she left he was raised by the Elder called Mother Jiā Qí, alongside many other Orphaned monkeys..

He used to be very loud and chatty as a baby, but quickly lost most of his interest in talking to others the day he was told his Sister disappeared.. despite his considerable youth at the time even he understood the weight of that information.. that he was all alone now.. he still talks sometimes.. just very sparsely and soft spoken.

He doesn’t allow anyone he hadn’t given permission to call him by his Name.. hence his moniker as the “Nameless Prince” because of this most Monkeys on Mount Huaguo refer to him as “Young Master” (which he’s also somewhat annoyed by) while all the little/Baby Monkeys call him “Big Brother” as for what His Name is???

Yín Houzi (maybe??)

(Yín Houzi, Meaning Silver Monkey? I just think the Destined One’s fur looks more Silvery/Dirty blonde? in the actual game, while Sun Wukong is given a more warm brownish toned color to his fur in the animated scenes/ Memories.)

Past Destined Ones..

King Pāramitā (Boluomi wang) The first son of Sun Wukong, and first to depart as the Destined One to “restore” their Father, Never returned.. no one knows if he’s dead or not..

Jidu (ketu?) second son of Sun Wukong, fallowed as the second Destined One, didn’t make it.. was tricked and killed before he could collect the first Relic..

Louhou (Rahu?) Third son of Sun Wukong, Died on his journey.. Nobody knows how far he made it before his untimely end…

Yuebei Xing, First daughter of Sun Wukong, it’s said she made it the farthest in nearly restoring the Monkey King.. however she too was struck down before the End of her journey… leaving behind our Poor baby Monkey Prince, as well as a Wife (guess who she is) who continues to grieve the lose of her dear beloved, The one she called her Moon and Stars. #sapphicswithswords 😘

Black Myth Wukong: Strange Silent Love.

A poll to Decide a Name for “Peaches” the Destined Love of “The Monkey Prince” the reserved Young Master of Mount Huaguo.

I’m truly just rolling full throttle with my personal headcannon that The Destined One is in fact, the actual SON of The Monkey King Sun Wukong, instead of him being a reincarnated “Game reset” of the OG Monkey king.. so the events of the Game are kinda like an elaborate and convoluted coronation ceremony for our fuzzy boi to become the Next Monkey King, and Great Sage equal to Heaven.

And “Peaches” as I’m calling her for now, our Feisty Fashionista and Heroine will have certain Memories lost to her when she awakens on Flower Fruit Mountain in the Black Myth world, and one memory she never recovers is. In fact.. her own Name.. And so I’ve decided not to have her previous Name mentioned at all in the story.. even choosing to keep her “human characteristics” not described in any significant detail so anyone can see themselves in her strange journey of Love and Adventure..

So I thought it would make sense for her to be given a new name, Either by the elder Monkeys who “take her in” or From our Destined one himself, that helps to describe her changed and Ethereal new appearance..

These features include.. Her hair turning Peach colored and growing in long loose curls, her ears are slightly pointed, her eyes change into a Deep Dark shade of greenish Jade-Blue.. and she is a little bit taller than the Destined One… and for now at least it will remain a mystery as to WHAT she’s been turned into upon her being YEETED into a different universe..

So what name should she be given?

Mèng yáo: Mèng meaning “dream” or “vision” and Yáo meaning “Jade”

Yù míng: Meaning “Jade Brightness”

Mailin: Meaning “Beautiful Jade” at least I think it does?

Suggestions for other Chinese Names with a meaning of “Jade”

Black Myth Wukong: Strange Silent Love

A little glimpse into one Hot Romantic Love confession from Our Monkey Prince, and his “Peaches” crass promise of devotion.. 👀

The Young Monkey Prince felt his body tremble with overwhelming lust as he, for the first time on his challenging journey.. totally lost control of his impulsive desires.. stalking towards his intended Mate, his companion, The Jade covered beauty with the vibrant Peach curls crowning her deceptively sweet and innocent face, as she merely stood in his path without a care..

Her jade-blue eyes devouring his visage as she bit her red lips between her pearly teeth.. before a gasp fluttered from her throat as he reached her, swiftly grabbing her waist and pulling her down into a desperate kiss.. hot and hungry as she melted into his firm grip.. surprising the Monkey Demon by matching his Desire as she deepened the Kiss, her hands caressing his furry cheek to tilt his head for a better angle..

He soon licked her lips, then without waiting for her response forced his tongue into her mouth, reveling in the feeling of swallowing her Moans.. it wasn’t until She had started trying to remove his shirt and belt that he finally broke out of his Lustfull trance.. Jumping back and landing on one of the ceilings support beams in the corner of the room.. panting and painfully erect.. his mind racing as he saw his Beloved fall to the floor from her weekend knees as she looked to him in complete confusion… and hurt..

Now that… that was painful.. to see her looking at him like that.. he never wants to see that expression on her face ever again… she said nothing.. her own mind desperate to understand what happened as she just watched and waited for him to explain himself.. The Destined One knew.. he didn’t have long before he lost himself to his Desires again, especially now that he’s had a taste of His beloved Peaches.. he knows there’s no going back now.

However.. that doesn’t mean he can’t do this right.. he carefully climbed down the beam and slowly approached his confused Mate, like a mortal would a wounded beast.. then knelt down infront of her, lifted one of her hands to his lips like she were a Queen as he whispered an apology against her skin, then carefully helped her to her feet before he stepped back and bowed his head, and per the old ways of the Demon kings, began his proposal to Mate with his companion..

“My lady, please…. Give every inch of your being to me… I will swear my mind, flesh and soul to you here and now.. for all eternity, Will you vow to be my Mine.”

As the Monkey Prince waited with bated breath for her answer.. he began cursing himself for losing control of his lust for her the way he did, he wanted to ask his Peaches to be his Mate AT THE END of their journey! Now he’s sure he’s ruined it all…… till he started hearing her giggle.. confused he quickly looked up at her.. her eyes sparkling in what he hoped was joy.

“Oh My sweet Monkey…. I didn’t think you’d be so Romantic~ alright then.. I’ll be keeping you to your word Handsome….. and so we’re clear if any other tries to touch you, I don’t care if they’re a Demon, Spirit, Celestial or a Mortal.. I WILL rip their grubby little hands off.”

The young demon blinked in disbelief… though he honestly shouldn’t be as surprised at her showing her Possessive side to him in her acceptance.. she just grinned at him as she walked closer to him, lovingly grabbing his face as he instinctively nuzzled into her touch.. she kissed his simian nose and whispered closer to his lips before backing away..

“….. That’s a yes by the way Lover boy.. now come here and kiss me again~ before I start stripping and tare your shirt off.”

He clicked his tongue, grinning at her antics while he grabbed her hand.. entwining their fingers as her words were making him feel like his furr was on fire and his heart hammering like a war drum.. his instinct to Claim her becoming more intense..

“Cheeky Woman…”

Not realizing the intensity of The Destined One’s sexual desires for her the otherworldly woman smiled and continued to tease her now official Demon Prince Lover..

“Don’t act like you don’t love it~ besides.. you’re the one who asked to Fuck and Merry me, my Prince Charming~ now come here.. unless… you want to watch me strip for you… slowly~”

He growled and before she could blink, he had her pinned against the wall and caged there with his lean strong body.. his long fingers gripping her chin with his thumb lightly pressing on her rosy lips.. his warm dark brown eyes almost black with hunger as his tail flicked behind him,

Slowly he leaned in.. making her moan into a surprisingly sweet and gentle kiss as she tangled her hands through the furr on his neck, then over his shoulders and down his back from under his shirt.. while he pulled away dragging his teeth over her ear, nipping it before he switched to kissing down her neck.. now moving both his hands under her skirt to grab her hips, as she eagerly wrapped her legs around his waist.
