this actually tripped me out
Reblog if you think itâs okay to platonically say âI Love Youâ to your friends
Slams the reblog button so damn fast
Are they even your friends if u donât do this?
itâs not a true friendship if you donât say it
writer: this is one of my male characters! he cares about his guy friends and loves them deeply.
tumblr: oh! so heâs gay!
writer: uhâŠno, heâs attracted to women.
tumblr: âŠ.so heâs bi!
writer: uhhâŠnoâŠâŠ.he loves his guy friends but heâs not romantically/sexually attracted to them.
tumblr: âŠ.so youâre homophobic.
writer:
Healthy male friendships are almost as rare in mainstream fiction as gay male relationships, and maybe more rare in fanfiction. Let men be wonderful friends without pushing a romantic relationship, just like men and women should be able to be wonderful friends without the pressure of a romantic relationship.
*AGGRESSIVELY SLAMS REBLOG UNTIL I DIE*
This is literally the reason men are so terrified of being open about loving each other platonically, because they donât want people to assume theyâre gay just because they can be supportive of their fucking friends
I literally got anon hate about my response to this post, and I just want to say that Iâm sorryâŠ
for not reblogging it sooner.
Psyche bitch, this is a good post.
PREACH
This is like a direct response to half of Tumblr.
Not all relationships have to be romantic. Being close to someone doesnât mean you are in love with them. Platonic friendships can be just as strong and wonderful as romantic ones.
I need to see more healthy friendships that arenât turned into ships
Iâve only seen one healthy male friendship on television.
Let everyone, regardless of gender, have non-sexual relationships!!!
These two as well!
Donât forget these two!!
Let guy friendships be like girl friendships without one or both of them having to have gay feelings for the other
I know itâs so commonly demanded to be a romantic relationship, but these two have the best most genuine friendship in every medium they appear in.
Let bros be bros, yâall.

The yellow-orange glow of the fire reflected off of your face. You were accompanied by your best friend, who had made it with you this far. You lost your parents years ago and relied on her for some time. You had set up a camp, used rope and tin cans to make a perimeter.Â
She cooked food, a small weasel over the fire. She was a bit older than you and had taken survival classes before all this, which had really helped.Â
âWhere do we go tomorrow?â she asked, looking up at you. âWe canât keep wandering around. Itâs getting colder. We need a shelter to last us the winter.â
She took the weasel off the fire and began cutting it, putting it on paper plates for the both of you to eat.
You say, âBelieve me, I WANT to get somewhere. Iâm freezing my ass off right now.â You rub your arms, trying to warm them up.Â
Before she can speak, you suddenly hear the perimeterâs cans start rattling. She gets up, going to check the perimeter. You stay there, letting her take out the walker. She can handle herself.
You then hear a cacophony of cans rattling. You hear your friend scream and you sprint to get her. Sheâs tripped and has a walker on her. You stab the walker and help her up. You run back past your camp and get your backpacks.
You run for a bit and find a building to hide in. Itâs a tall concrete building and you donât have time to look around it. You see an open window and your friend gives you a boost. You reach down for her. She takes your arm and tries to climb up. The hoard is closing in and you pull harder.
âJust let me go! If you donât, Iâll take you with me!â She screams, the hoard reaching up for her. You tried to pull more, but your arms were starting to loose grip.Â
âI wonât!â you stubbornly say. She reaches up with her other hand and pries your fingers away. She falls into the hoard and you watch it envelope her.
You woke up with a jolt, sitting up in your bed. You grip your legs and begin to cry. Your nightmares have been plaguing your thoughts. They havenât stopped since then, but you learned to cope with them.
Now that Carl was gone, you felt empty. He was a true friend you had, a little older than you, but still fun to be around.
You tried to keep quiet, but you couldnât help blubbering.
You heard a knock on your door and you looked up at it. The door creaked open to reveal Daryl. You shared a house with him. The both of you formed a parent/child relationship over the years. You loved him and he loved you. You worked well together and just clicked.
âHey, you okay?â He asks, concern lacing his voice. You put your head back in your hands and continue sobbing. He comes over to your bed and sits down, the mattress dipping under both of you.Â
He takes you in his arms and pulls you close, putting a hand on your head. âItâs okay. Nothingâs gonna hurt you.â You wrap your arms around his waist and bury your face in his chest.Â
He holds you for a moment and strokes your hair, trying to calm you down.Â
âItâs ok. Youâre ok. Iâm here. Just focus on me.â He makes a shushing noise and pulls you closer.
You both stay like that for a few minutes. You eventually stop crying and he pulls you back, just to lay a kiss on your forehead, pulling you closer right afterwards.
âYou good now?â He asks calmly. You nod your head and he gets up. You lay down and he pulls the covers over you. He plants a kiss on your forehead and gets up to turn your light off.Â
âGoodnight,â he says.Â
âGoodnight. I love you,â you say. Youâve never told him that in a situation like this.Â
He turns around and smiles slightly, before turning off your light.
Be sure to catch the pink moon tonight! :D Itâs the biggest of 2020.
Hot Day (Oneshot)
Word Count: 2,366 Plot: Y/n, Daryl, Glenn, and Rick go on a run when something unexpected happens because of the heat. Setting: Before we met Hilltop, at Alexandria.
You were on a run. It wasnât anything special, just going for supplies. With you were Rick, Glenn, and Daryl. Your plan was to search a street of houses, then a school, and a gas station after that. You all got into one car, Rick driving, you in the passenger seat, and Daryl and Glenn in the back. You could tell by the way he grumbled Daryl wanted to ride his motorcycle, but that was missing.
Rick drove, about 15 minutes out. You could see the road shimmering in the distance because of the heat. Itâs hot in Virginia, but usually never this hot. Every once in a while, people would pinch their shirt and pull out, trying to replace the hot air trapped in their clothing.
Rick cranked the air conditioning up, but it was still way too hot for your liking. You skin felt all hot and itchy, making it a pale red color. Glenn kept trying to make conversation but the other three people were fed up with the day already.
The car slowed to a stop with a squeak of the breaks. Everyone got out and you internally cringed at that uncomfortable feeling of your skin peeling away from the leather seat. You got your guns out of the glovebox and loaded them, getting ready to search the houses.Â
You reached for one of your magazines that was next to the gear shift. As soon as your fingertips touch it, you flinch away, feeling how hot it was being baked in the sun. Glenn saw your flinch.
âHey you ok?â He leaned over you to see what happened.
âYeah, Iâm fine, think I burnt my magazine though.â You say turning around to face Glenn, then back to your mag. You take a cloth and pick it up, not wanting to get burned again. You blew on it a couple times and began loading bullets into it.
Rick looked down the road and spoke up. âRoad looks clear, weâll start with that house on the left, and work our way up the street.â Rick pointed to a white two-story house. The apocalypse has taken its toll on it. There was blood on one side of it and the front was boarded up.Â
Daryl and Rick started prying the boards off, while Glenn came up to talk to you.
âHey, you ok?â He asks, shielding his eyes from the sun and squinting.Â
âYeah, Iâm fine. Why do you ask?â You finished loading your mag and put it in your gun and holstered it.
âI donât know, you just seem drained,â Glenn says.
âWell, the sunâs getting to everyone I think,â you say, nodding and looking at him. He nods as well and starts going closer to Rick and Daryl. They get the boards off and Rick goes into the house, with Daryl going in second and motioning for you and Glenn to come in.Â
Daryl goes first with his crossbow. He opens the first door, which is a closet, and clears the hallway its in. We clear the rest of the house, not breaking formation, and donât find anything of much value, just some water and expired food.
You guys clear six houses before itâs time to take a break for lunch. You have a sandwich packed and some chips. You get your things set up on one of the houses youâve cleared tables.Â
You go to wipe your brow but thereâs no perspiration on your forehead. You shrug it off and start eating your sandwich. You take a sip of your water and you can feel how cold it is running down your throat. You sigh and continue eating.
Youâre half way through your meal when you feel a headache growing. You press your hand against your head, trying to help it but it doesnât work.
ââYa okay?â Daryl asks, looking up from his meal.Â
âYeah, Iâm fine, just a headache,â You say.
âWell, chug some water and get ready. Weâre leaving soon.â Daryl packs his things and goes to check up on Rick and Glenn.
Your headache only grew worse. You cleared the next house in a haze, staying near the group at all times in case something happened. You were lugging things out of the house and into the car when Glenn came up.
âHey, are you sure youâre ok? We can take a break if you need it. Your skin looks really red.â Glenn paused so you could respond, but Daryl interjected before you could speak.Â
âSheâs fine. If she wants to keep going, she will. Least she ainât sweating to death like us.â Daryl loaded what he was carrying into the trunk and turned around to go to the next house.
âI appreciate the concern, Glenn, but Iâm fine, really,â you say.
âOkay. If you need a break, just tell us.â You nod and see him walk off. You follow him and the rest of the group.
Youâre at the next house, second to last. You stay in formation and search the first hallway. You split up, Daryl with you and Glenn with Rick. You and Daryl looked through the kitchen.
You cleared the room of walkers and started looking through the cabinets. You suddenly felt dizzy. You stabled yourself on the kitchen island. Daryl heard you scuffling behind him. He turned around and helped you stand up and stabilize yourself.Â
ââYa alright?â He asked, clear concern in your eyes.
You tried to speak, but nothing was coming out. You felt the ground pull you closer to it and you blacked out.
Daryl caught you and set you on the ground, making sure you were safe. He called out for Rick and Glenn and they came rushing in.
âWhat happened?â Rick asks, examining you.
âShe passed out. Probably the heat.â Daryl said, taking a seat cushion and putting it under your head.
Glenn pipes up and says, âYeah, her skinâs really red and she hasnât been sweating the past hour.â
âHas a headache too,â Daryl says.Â
âDaryl, take her to a cool spot in the house. Glenn and I are going to go to the school and raid the infirmary, see if they have any cold packs.â Rick says, using his hands to gesture while talking.
Daryl nods and brings you to the living room and puts you on the couch. He closes the shades and he can hear the car start up outside. He runs out to the car before they leave, waving his arms in the air so they donât drive off yet.Â
He goes to the trunk of the car and gets the water bottles that you and him have. He hears Glenn from the front of the car.
âTake my water bottle. I donât need it right now.â Daryl grabs Glennâs water bottle and runs back inside.
He gets towels and washcloths from the kitchen and begins soaking them with cold water as he hears the car skirt off. He goes back to the living room in a rush and kneels down next to you. He starts laying the towels around your neck, on your forehead, and on your arms. After he was done, he sat on the couch next to you, making sure your temperature was going down by feeling your skin.
After a while, you started to shift, and Daryl noticed this. He got up off the couch and sat down next to it, so he could face you.Â
âHey, you okay?â He asked, cupping your face. You shifted your head a little and looked at him. You nodded and he took his hand away, standing up and looking out the window to see if the others have gotten back yet.Â
You start trying to sit up, but Daryl comes over and helps you.
â'Ya not gonna move from this spot âtil they get back,â He says as you lean back. He starts adjusting the towels that are falling off because of you moving. ââYa canât push yourself right now. You shouldâve told us âya needed a break.â
âWhere are they?â You ask, looking at him.Â
He looks up to you, âOn a run, trying to find something to cool âya down besides these.â
He stands up and walks over to am armchair. He sits in it, putting his arms on the arm rests. He brings his left arm up to his chin for support and looks out the window.Â
âIâm sorry...â You say, feeling bad for them having to take care of you. He looks over to, not knowing what to say for a moment.
âAinât your fault. Just wish âya wouldâve told us before this.â He goes back to looking out the window and says, âJust get some rest. Theyâll be back soon.â
You tilt your head on the back of the couch looking at the ceiling. You still feel a little hot, but you were cooling down. Your headache hasnât gone away just yet though.Â
About five minutes later, you hear an engine outside. Daryl goes to the front of the house, looking outside for the car. You hear him rush back into the living room looking around.
âWhatâs wrong?â you inquire, taking the washcloth off your forehead.Â
âThose guys ainât them,â He says. He looks around, and sees a closet. He goes over to the couch and helps you up. You take the cool towels off of you and put them on the couch before running into the closet with Daryl.Â
It was a small closet, but not tight. Daryl was still able to cock his crossbow and you took out one of your guns.Â
You hear men outside, one saying, âSomeone took the boards off the house down there.â
Then you hear another one, âNo shit. They could still be here. Go in already.â The man opens the door with an audible squeak. You and Daryl hear three sets of footsteps. They pass the closet and go into the living room.Â
âWhy the fuck are there towels on the couch? Wet towels on the couch!â The third man exclaims.Â
âAnd a water bottle on the table.â The first man says.
âThis isnât our shit.â The second man starts to shout, âI know youâre in here. Why donât you come on out and no one gets hurt?â The same man who shouted starts going to the front of the house.
You feel Daryl get closer to you and whisper, âWeâre gonna go out there. The other oneâs distracted right now we can take them out easily.â
âSo weâre just going to kill them?â you ask. You werenât surprised that he wanted to, but you certainly didnât want to.Â
ââYa got a better idea?â He asks, somewhat annoyed.
You think for a moment, âHow about we just make sure they donât speak, hold them at gunpoint, and call for the third one to give us his gun.â
âThen what?â Daryl asks, still not convinced.Â
âWeâll take their shit and leave, we canât just kill them.â You say, annoyed that Daryl isnât budging.Â
âFine.â Daryl agrees after a moment and you both sneak out of the closet. You make your way over to the living room, where two of the men are sitting, on the couch and on the armchair.Â
You aim to the left, at the guy in the armchair, Daryl aims at the one on the couch. You both put your finger on you lips, motioning for them to be quiet. You both start checking them for weapons. You take the manâs gun when you start hearing footsteps approaching. You get them both on the floor and make them kneel when the other comes in.
âWhat the fuck is this?â The man asks.
Daryl responds, âYou were gonna kill us. Weâre letting you off easy. Give us your shit.â
The man scoffs, âWhat are you gonna do?â When he says that, you shoot him in the leg, making him fall to the ground, and you aim your gun back to the manâs head you were watching.
The man screams as he gets shot, blood pouring out of his leg. He calms down a little and backs up. âWhat do you want from us?â
You quickly respond to him, âYour shit. We told you.â
He starts taking off his holster and slides it across the floor to you. You pick it up and feel a sharp pain in your leg. You yelp and unknowingly pull the trigger, killing the man you were supposed to be watching. You look to your leg and find that the fucker had taken his knife and stabbed you.
Daryl shoots the man he was with and you see the other one in the doorway is holding another gun he has to Daryl.Â
âDonât fucking move. Either of you,â He says, but before anyone can make a move, Rick shoots him in the back of the head.
Glenn follows shortly behind him. Daryl helps you move to the couch to rest your leg, while Glenn runs out to get medical supplies.
âWhat happened this time?â Rick asks.
âFuckers came in. We hid in the closet. Y/n convinced me not to kill them, but turns out that was the right decision.â Daryl says, putting pressure on the stab wound you have, making you hiss.
Rick nods and hands you a cold pack, one of the ones you compress and it gets cold. You do so and feel the cold plastic on your neck.Â
Glenn comes back with bandages and antiseptic. Daryl takes them and tries to remove the knife, but you holler in pain.
âLooks like itâs cerated. This is gonna hurt like a bitch,â Daryl says, before pulling the knife out. You cover your mouth, but some noise still escapes, not surprisingly.Â
Daryl uses the antiseptic and wraps the bandages around it tightly, saying, âThis should be fine âtil we get back to Denise.â You nod and try to stand up on one foot. Daryl notices and wraps your arm around his shoulders. He helps you to the car and you both climb in the back.
Rick starts the car and Glenn says, âThat was one hell of a day.â
âFuck yeah it was,â Daryl says.
Prompt #2
@leej2468 Prompt #2:Â âWeâll take things slow.â Word Count: 695 Ask:Â Can you please do #2. âWeâll take things slow.â Daryl and the reader, male or female, have known each other since they were kids. The reader confessed their love to him, which scares him. The reader makes him look at them and say #2. Possible fluff and smut if you're okay with it.
âYou going to the party?â A rough voice calls from behind you. You were sitting on the dock in Alexandria, dipping your feet in the pond. You turn your head around, seeing Daryl walking down the wooden planks towards you.Â
âNo, I donât like social gatherings that much,â you say, turning your head around, looking back at the lake. You feel him sit down next to you, crossing his legs so he doesnât get his boots wet. âI take it you arenât either?â
He picks up a rock and throws it in the lake. âNah, you know me. Didnât see the point of it.â
Thereâs a silence for a moment before you find a small, flat rock. âWatch this.â You skip the rock across the pond and look over to him, who doesnât react much. He takes another rock, and is able to skip it for a bit, but not as far as you were.
You chuckled and put your hands back on the dock as you leaned back, accidentally touching Darylâs hand. A flush comes to your cheeks as you move your hand away from his, with him shifting uncomfortably to the side.Â
Youâve known Daryl since you two were kids. When Merle wasnât around and Daryl would play in the neighborhood, you two hung out, along with other kids. You two had formed a close bond. You knew Merle too, but not as well. He was an asshole, but you grew somewhat fond of him.
âI miss Merle,â you suddenly say, striking Darylâs attention.Â
âNever thought youâd say something like that,â Daryl says, throwing another rock in the pond.Â
âWell, I do! I miss him everyday. He was a jackass, but I knew how much he meant to you.â
âThat makes you miss him?â Daryl asks, looking at you for a moment before going to throw more rocks.Â
âWell... I donât know. I just...â You trailed off, not knowing what to say.
âNah, I get it.â Daryl stopped and looked at you with a lonely gleam in his eyes. âI miss him too.â
âWell, you were his brother. I can understand that.â
âI donât doubt you do, just caught me off guard. Thatâs all.â
There was a brief moment of silence before you say, âWith all the people weâve lost, I just feel lonely.â
âYou can feel lonely but not be alone,â Daryl looks at you sincerely, âand youâre not alone.â You look at Daryl and place your hand on his, making him flinch for a moment and look away, back to the pond.
âThanks,â You say. âDaryl, can I tell you something?â Daryl turns around, showing you his slightly blushed cheeks and nods.
âDaryl, weâve been through so much, and through it all, Iâve realized I really like you, not just platonically.â You wait for a moment. He looks away and stands up, brushing himself off.
âI should probably go,â he says, getting ready to walk away.
âWait!â You say, grabbing ahold of his hand. He pivots around and faces you, but looks away. âD-Do you like me back?â You felt heartbroken, and were hoping you didnât just ruin your friendship.
âI-...â He opens his mouth to speak but almost nothing comes out.Â
You quickly reply, âLook Iâm so sorry, can we just forget this happ-â
âNo, thatâs not what I mean,â He says, eyes growing wide for a moment. He blushes a bit, but itâs barely noticeable. âI do... I just... I donât know. Iâve never done this shit before.â He crosses his arms, looking insecure and uncomfortable, facing away from you.
âHey, look at me,â you say soothingly. You take his chin in your hand and make him look at you. âWeâll take things slow.â He seems calmer now, less rigid. âDo you want to come over for a bit? We could hang around if you want, read, watch a movie, listen to music...â Daryl slowly nods and starts walking towards your house followed by you.Â
While youâre walking, you plant a small kiss on his cheek, making him blush a little more.
âI donât really feel alone anymore, at least not tonight.â You say, interlocking your fingers with his.
Confessing to Him (Oneshot)
Word Count: 1091
Youâve had feelings for Daryl since the farm. Roughly nine months later, you need to tell him. Your feelings havenât been letting you sleep, and you think about him all the time. Recently, heâs opened up to you more and more and been friendlier towards you. Thatâs a sign, right?
You get up out of bed and throw on a jacket, blowing your candle out afterwards. It was a clear night, and you found that out when you looked outside and saw the stars. Each one seems to shine differently. You are making your way over to the watch tower he is in, when the realization hits you.Â
If you fuck this up, you could ruin your friendship with him. Itâs taken you months to get here, to have his trust, and thereâs no one in the world youâd rather be around. You snap out of it and think, you canât keep these feelings hidden. If he does like you back, this could be the best decision of your life.Â
You climb the ladder and find him sitting down. Heâs leaned back in his chair watching the outside when he shifts to you.Â
âHey,â he says, looking back to the outside to keep watch.
âHi,âyou take a seat next to him. âHow are you?â Daryl lets out a low, short, groan, almost inaudible and nods. You stare off into the distance and a silence ensues. Itâs a comfortable silence, just being in his presence brings you to ease.
âWhatâd âya come up here for?â He asks, looking over at you.Â
âJust wanted to talk.â It wasnât a lie, you did want to talk to him, but didnât just want to blurt it out yet. He nods and looks back outside. The moonlight illuminates his face as he examines the tree line for walkers.Â
Heâs so focused on keeping the group safe. You admire that about him. Thereâs nothing he wouldnât do for the group. Heâs protective and strong and cares about everybody here, whether he admits it or not.Â
You straighten your posture and say, âI need to tell you something.â He looks up to you after a moment of finishing his gaze on the outside. His face showed faint question but also patience, on the backdrop of him normal monotone expression.
You look away from him for a minute, âI uh- I was just wondering, maybe...â You look back up to him and heâs still staring into your eyes. âNevermind, itâs stupid,â you say and look away again.
âIf you needed to tell me, it ainât stupid,â Daryl says, still looking at you.
You look back at him. Heâs given you his full attention, his blue eyes locked on yours. Thereâs a moment of silence before you speak again, âNo, itâs nothing really. I just thought...â
âJust spit it out,â He says. He doesnât mean it as harsh as it sounded, but wants to know whatâs making you a nervous wreck.
You take a deep breath and prepare to ask him. âI was wondering if maybe... maybe sometime youâd wanna go on a date with me?â His eyes grow wider and he looks at you in surprise. His body stiffens and he opens his mouth to says something, but no words some out.
You continue, âLook, I know the apocalypse isnât the best place to have a date, but yâknow...â
âYou being serious?â He asks, looking at you in disbelief.Â
âWhy wouldnât I be?â You ask, anxious for his response, each second feeling like hours.
Daryl takes a moment to process this, looking away from you momentarily, but looking back soon after.
âEmma, I-â He started to speak, but stopped after a moment.
âI uh, is that a âno?ââ You begin to get nervous and tense, fearing his response.Â
âN- i just- I havenât really thought of it much,â he says, clearly nervous as well. He scratches the back of his head, thinking of what to say. He shifts his eyes back out the window of the watch tower, not knowing where to go from here.
âWell, uhâ You stutter as you try to talk to him, while he looks back over to you. âThe offer still stands. I know you might not want to, but I really like you.â You lean in closer and say, âNo, scratch that, I love you and I want to spend more time with you.â He looks up at you, not knowing what to do and still looking stiff.Â
âI uh- Iâll think about it,â He says, struggling to maintain eye contact with you.
âOk.â You get up and start going down the guard tower ladder, your heart pounding against your rib cage. He didnât outright reject you, but âthinking about itâ usually means the person doesnât have the guts to say no.
Later on, youâre reading in your cell, trying to forget about what happened. You flip a page and finish the chapter, placing your bookmark between the pages. You close your book and put it on the nightstand, pulling your covers closer as youâre about to blow out your candle.Â
You hear a knock on your cell door, making you look in that direction. The makeshift bedsheet curtain makes it so you canât see through the bars. You push the covers off of you, straighten out your pajamas, and ask, âWho is it?â
You hear a soft response from the other side, âMe,â Daryl says. You go over to the door and open it, seeing him standing there, arms crossed and looking at you.Â
âWhatâs up?â You ask, hoping it wasnât him telling you that he doesnât like you that way.
He shifts uncomfortably from one side to the other and after a minute, says âYou still wanna... yâknow?â
âUh yeah, why?â You ask, getting hope that he wants to as well.
âI was thinking... uh, Iâd like that,â Daryl says, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.
A smile appears on your face as you say, âGreat! Iâd love that! When do you think we could?âÂ
Daryl becomes less uneasy, âI have some free time after a run day after tomorrow. We could do it then.â
âGreat! Iâll be ready!â You say enthusiastically, looking him in the eyes. He smirks a little and nods his head, getting ready to leave when you stop him. âHey, uh, I just-â You cut yourself off by giving him a quick peck on the cheek, saying âGoodnight.â
He smiles a little and nods, going off to his cell, leaving you with butterflies in your stomach.

Prompt #2Â âWeâll take things slow.
What Affection with him is Like (Headcanon)
Word Count: 336
- Daryl isnât a big fan of PDA. He likes to keep things private between the two of you. Unless you tell people, a lot of them wonât even know youâre in a relationship with him. He feels people donât need to know about it.
- Daryl takes time to open up and explore with his partner. Heâs afraid to make a mistake so heâs extra cautious. A lot of times, you have to initiate any kind of cuddling or kissing. Daryl needs someone whoâs patient and is ok with going slow. - When you first kissed him, Daryl didnât know what to do; how to kiss back, where to put his hands, etc. It was a short, awkward kiss for both of you, but it was sweet. You gave him suggestions of where to put his hands and told him how to kiss back. You tried again, and was somewhat successful, but Daryl was still rigid throughout it.Â
- You were able to get him to open up and relax a little more the next time around. He was still nervous about what to do but you assured him it was ok.
- Although he doesnât like to admit it, he loves being held. He likes holding you too, but being held is his favorite. He likes to be little spoon the most when cuddling. When heâs not being held, he enjoys just wrapping his arms around you in bed, and you doing the same. He also likes having your head on his chest and using his arms to pull you close. - Sometimes you play with his hair. At first, he didnât react much, but learned to like it.Â
- His kisses are often short and sweet, lasting a couple seconds then stopping. You do occasionally make out, but itâs usually after a long, hard, day or after alcohol. when you do make out, thereâs not a lot of tongue action. He just doesnât feel comfortable with it and doesnât know what to do.
