Today is Natuonal Black Dogs' Day. Black dogs are less likely to be adopted for no other reason than their coloring. Speaking as the mom to my own black #furbaby, that's a sad fact. There is no difference between black dogs and any other color when comes to temperament, cuteness, intellegence, playfulness or obedience. If you are thinking about adopting a dog, keep in mind that dogs of darker shades are less likely to get the loving home that they deserve. Here I am trying to smile last Thursday. My mom is going to need a hip replacement. But first she needed clearance from Dr. Bowden. What was intended to be one quick appointment, turned into 3 appointments. It took us the entire day without time for breakfast or lunch! 😫 Hopefully, all her test results will come back tomorrow allowing her to make an appointment for surgery. My #neice Aamiliah and I having some bonding time this morning. Her mom, Ashley Smith, was sweet enough to take a 2 hour drive with the baby to meet #family. I think she and her family are gems and a great addition to our extended family. I hope she knows how much we love her for bringing the sweet baby girl into our lives. ❤Since Aamiliah doesn't live in Memphis, I have to take that auntie time where I can get it. At least, they TRY to destroy their targets. As a person who grew up with a #narcissist, I can tell you that you've got to be #strong and #strict.
