William Carlos Williams

Put-Pockets Presents: A Poetry Recording
A little over a month ago Put-Pockets hosted its first event: a poetry recording. The night consisted of poets recording each other reading some of their favorite poems, which would later be turned into poetry playlists, and creating cover art for the cds. It was a lot of fun and definitely something we'd like to do again in the future. For the time being, here is the first installment of photos:
A wide variety of poetry books to choose from...
Poets recording each other read/recite...
Creating cover art for the cds…
The finished cases (there were 42 in all):
Wee handlebag of poems longing for the library...
Restaurant poems.
Popcorn poems in a coffee shop utility cabinet and on the popcorn aisle at Fred Meyer.
