Helo, this is a little account of mine 🧨

⭐️ I go by Pyro, Dingo, or Audie, with she/her pronouns preferred, but others work, just no it/its or neos for mes

⭐️ Adhd, anxiety, and the user behind this blog is also hard of hearing/deaf :3

⭐️ I made this blog as a comfort thing really, so yes for the record I am not a fictive or a fictionkin (though I’m considering using the label synpath officially, but it’s something like that for me). I don’t mind other pryo account interactions, but I will not actively look for other pyros. Also may not act the most canonically in character, as again, this is for self comfort.

⭐️I really like a lot of 2d and 3d animated stuff, such as TADC, tmnt, etc. Currently also hyperfixated on LPS (dogs specifically), Warrior cats (mostly just fan made content) Animal jam play wild, Pokemon (2/3DS and switch games particularly), and plushies.

⭐️I will post some of my own art and doodles on here, so I guess keep that in mind. This blog also does not ship Pyro with well, anyone. (I may Reblog shipping art, though, but I usually prefer to avoid it.)

I mostly have seen the boycott talked about on Twitter within the past week(s), but not much outside it.

With Zeez releasing this video, I figured i might link it on here & on my Bsky.

Not only does it talk about the Identity V boycott, but also explains the differences between GenAI & the "catch all" term of just saying AI. I believe the section giving a deep dive on Generative AI & its problems are important even outside of this boycott, as it is very informative & easy to understand.

It also touches on the racism & colourism issues that have been a problem for years, and I can attest for having caused many attempts at boycotts over the years: unfortunately none near as successful as the current one. Whilst we have Netease's attention, we should speak up about the whitewashing, cultural appropriation & otherwise insensitive skins as well.

If you see this post, I would really appreciate you reblogging this & maybe even go watch Zeez' video to help boost it - even if you aren't part of the Identity V community.

These concerns also apply to other Netease Games, like Marvel Rivals & plenty other games, so by helping support this boycott & pushing information, maybe a game you really like may get out of this spiral as well.

Even if you don't play any of the games made by Netease, I'd still love for you to a least reblog this so it reaches more people.

Artists have lost their jobs already, their work is being run through GenAI "enhancements" & has likely been used as training data , and any remaining artists in Joker Studios are seemingly getting rushed by Netease higher ups, as NE still hasn't addressed the situation but a lot of recent art is suspiciously looking rushed. The artists working on this game deserve better.

Heavy:

I adore Misha, we hug quite frequently I'd say. Of course, this comes with his size, but he gives good hugs. Strong arms, warm body. I'd be very happy to receive hugs from Misha.

Spy:

If Pierre were to hug me, I wouldn't be offended, per se, but I'd be worried. He's not the most affectionate man. I'd be worried if he were alright.

Scout:

Well, I'd rather Jeremy didn't hug me, I'm not opposed. Surely, he must need hugs despite how irritating he can be. He's quite bony, though, barely any muscle or fat. I imagine he'd give poor hugs.

Sniper:

I'd be surprised! Mick is never one for affection like that, and we probably know eachother the least. He's very much one to keep to himself. I've never seen him go for more than a high-five with any of us. It'd almost be off putting if he wanted a hug from me!

Pyro:

Pyro and I probably exchange the most hugs, outside of Misha and I, and for good cause. She's often very affectionate with everybody, (even when they don't want it.) Very warm body, very gentle hugs. I'd be very, very happy for more hugs with her.

Soldier:

With Jane, I can never be sure if he's being malicious in some unusual, confusing way that I'm not understanding, or if he just genuinely would like a hug. He tends to be quite affectionate, but at the same time, very aggressive. He's inconsistent, some days he seems to hate me, and others we get along well.

Engineer:

I enjoy hugs from Dell. He gives them infrequently, but when given they're very nice. Unfortunately, he always tries to lift me when hugging me, and no matter how strong he is, he hasn't succeeded. I'm often poorly dropped back on my feet and he's left sore from trying.

Demoman:

Tavish! Tavish has wonderful hugs. The best squeeze-your-whole-body hugs! He holds one with so much pressure, it's quite pleasant. I'd be flattered to receive hugs from him. He should more, if anything.
