People don’t power scale Naruto characters correctly.
Specifically talking about Sakura. Every time I see anything ranking strength of the characters, she is always at like the 20th place, while Naruto and Sasuke are top 5?? Hello?? Firstly, she is canonically at Naruto and Sasuke’s level. It has been stated canonically in data books AND in the canon manga.
Secondly, she landed a hit on fully powered Kaguya, something even Naruto and Sasuke couldn’t do.
Six paths Naruto was only able to damage Kaguya before she powered up. This gives Sakura basically the strongest AP in the verse. Thirdly, she has proven her strength countless times in the manga, so (ignoring the anime studio watering down most of her moments for no reason) her strength has been accurately written, with her training with Tsunade and her strong motivation not to stay behind.
“But she got stabbed by Madara!” She literally said she would be a diversion. The fact that she healed herself just further proves her impressive strength.
Another issue I see is people saying Hinata is more skilled at taijutsu than Sakura. (Before you attack me, I am a Hinata fan.) I even see some Sakura fans saying this, which is honestly concerning. Both Hinata and Sakura’s strongest points are taijutsu, and Sakura is way stronger than Hinata.
Just because she’s a Hyūga, doesn’t mean she’s the strongest taijutsu user. That is Sakura easily. Refusing to accept that is just plain bias and glaze.
People not understanding how strong Sakura is is also why a lot of people think the whole story revolves around Naruto and Sasuke as a duo, and that Sakura and the trio never really mattered, which is FAR from the truth.
In conclusion Sakura is top 3 shinobi in the verse, and if Naruto or Sasuke can defeat a character, she most likely can too.
(here is my ranking for strongest characters, if you were wondering ^ ^)
