i can not and i mean i can not stress this enough… make a bibliography as you do your research. i mean, make a fully formed, correctly cited bibliography as you work. just do it. i know i know you’re being lazy or you hate making citations or you’ll just get to it later or you don’t want to get distracted etc etc etc
whatever your reasons just make the fuckin bibliography
and while im at it… put the footnotes in properly as you are writing. just… do it. for future you. please. for your sanity. do it.
i politely disagree. it all depends on whether you write "first way right way" style or "draft" style.
if you write first way right way, yeah!! go ahead and do what op said!
however if youre someone who gets frustrated if they try to make every sentence perfect before moving on to the next paragraph? someone who writes it all down first and then goes back to check for typos and word choice? DONT!!! put in fully sourced right away!!! bc if u do and then u decide to move shit around or delete entire parts, youll end up crazy! + so much more work.
HOWEVER! do copy all ur soueces into the bibliography section right away (with link if its only sources) and the shorthand youll use. f.e. "Miller 2011". and THIS u put in ur text in the spot where u would usualy put the full citation. whether footnote or mla style. or even just page. (miller 28).
but dont polish sources as u go along if u dont polish anything else abt ur text right away either. its unnecessary energy
Half-way between a newspaper boy and a grandpa/grandma combo (with Madame Bissonnette ignoring me on the side) Almost everything is thrifted (even the Yosuke shoes) and without brands, so there’s no point doing a rundown.
