If MC had a special comfort item they took with them everywhere (say, like, a teddy bear, necklace, scarf, etc.) how would the perfumare RO’s (+ Dia if that’s okay!) react to it? As in, would they also care for that item? Be curious? Not care? Be protective over it in a ‘I care because you care’ way? Etc.
Jewel and Reed: insist on getting an exact matching item for themselves, only partially to be twining, mostly so that if MC ever loses theirs, they can swap it before it makes MC feel bad/panic
Laurent: basically the same reaction as with the plushie choice in-game, he’s confused but fully on board after MC mentions it
Flavio: you mean OUR comfort item now?
Nino and Alan: don’t really get the point, but accept it as a part of MC
Dia: depends on what the item is, but she’d mostly find it sweet, kinda like how some people have their ‘main’ scent, MC has their main item, ‘very classy,’ she’d say
Every time I think about Lotar having to suffer through the Summoner pushing away their advances, because they cried wolf too many times, I smile.
It brightens my day to remember that Lotar had to suffer for 10 years without the Summoner, and when they got back, they STILL did not believe any of Lotar’s advances. It’s just so funny. I love that annoying bastard so much, it really is so unfortunate.
May I please, please, ask for some Lotar yearning facts to be shared?
And will we get to see how the Summoner’s absence affected the ROs in FMO In Absentia?

Yes! One of the main ideas for In Absentia was to let the player see through an outsider’s POV how the ROs fare without The Summoner (spoiler alert, not well), so you will get to see a lot of scenes that I didn’t know how to fit well within the game without breaking immersion.
That being said, if you have a certain scene you’d like to see, do let me know and I’ll include it either in-game or as an unrelated snippet!
Now, the yearning:
The fact that TS died was a shock but also a relief because hey, Lotar knows a necromancer, getting TS back is as easy as finding them a suitable vessel and letting the practitioner do her magic. It’s when Lotár realizes that TS isn’t dead but just... gone, that he/she starts to spiral.
He/She hates not knowing, and every passing day is torture until he/she realizes that maybe TS isn’t in need of saving, maybe they are staying away on purpose.
Checking if they are dead becomes a habit, every day starts with ‘the soul you are trying to reach is inaccessible, try again at a later time...’ Anyone else would feel soothed, anyone might learn to build around the newly found emptiness, but not Lotar, he/she’s too possessive for that
For the first time in his/her life, he/she is unable to do anything about it. He/She has the means, the people, and the resources, but nothing can bring him/her even a sliver of closure.
What he/she has plenty of, however, is time. Time to ruminate, time to connect every dot that lead him/her to this outcome, time to hope, time to wish, and time to regret. And by Gods and Devils does he/she regret, most of all, not sticking to TS like glue, for if he/she did, they would be together right now.

So... I recently read a book where a prideful male lead realized what he had to do to get back on the femae lead's good graces. So he did that... he groveled.
Now, I'm wondering... what would be the reason that would make the Perfumare LIs grovel to MC1/MC2? I know some of them might not be susceptible to groveling since they tend to treat MC right from the beginning... but what would make them grovel or in what scenario they would be pushed to grovel? 👀

Funny you should say that, because while Avulsion ROs would most likely avoid giving themselves a reason to grovel, Amalgam ROs will all grovel on-screen adsadsad. But let’s see:
Reed and Flavio: for being a stubborn asshole until it’s too late, and the truth hits them like a ton of bricks, making them feel sick with themsleves
Jewel and Nino: letting their emotions get the best of them and lashing out at MC
Laurent and Alan: for making stupid assumptions and running away instead of having a proper conversation...

meanwhile altar-boi cullen rutherford is a DISASTER who literally falls to his knees before a statue of his god. he is seeking SPIRITUAL ABSOLUTION from the divine bc the very idea of putting you into harm's way is unforgivable, and then he breaks his prayer to murmur, "when the time comes, you will be thrown into his path again. andraste preserve me, i must send you to him. whatever happens, you will come back. allow me this. to believe anything else would… i can't."

The Flavio patreon pov has me wondering, for MCs who are close to Flavio and see him as a big brother/ closest parental figure they had due to their own sucking so bad, how would he feel about an MC who asked him if he would walk them down the aisle for their and Reid’s wedding?and would he be able to hold it together to give a speech at said wedding y or n?
He would be super touched to the point of ugly crying into his pillow! He would hold it together (barely) during the ceremony, but he would have to sneak out right after to stuff himself full of cake and cry in the bathroom.
Kinda similar to his own wedding in the sense, only that during his, he would be more in shock like ‘is it really happening??’ and the emotions would hit him full force after the ceremony
Was playing FMO (Favorite game btw) and had a thought occur to me. We know Mirren and Rez, but if for some reason they were never broken, how do you think Mirren'rez would be? Personality wise or just in general? I was trying to picture it but all I got mentally was Left Brain Right Brain by Bo Burnham. When they split, Rez got the dominant personality and drive (Mirren is more passive and at first follows everything Rez does), but Mirren got the insight and skill, even their strength levels are different, higher in Mirren’s favor.
If they didn’t split and become one single construct, they’d resemble more an actual weapon than a human being, because the weaknesses they possess now would be nullified by the other half, making them what one might call a perfect weapon/soldier: obedient, following (obsessively so ) a single cause, with little thought of their own.

What would ROs do if MC got unreasonably jealous over nothing, to the point where they started freaking out and demanded to see the ROs phone? Would any of them actually give the phone to calm MC down? What if this behavior would start repeating?
Reed would actually like it 🙈 and he’d probably make MC mad because of how poorly he’d try to hide how pleased he is with the uh extra attention
Jewel would try to reassure MC but also wonder if it’s her fault somehow, if she did something to make MC insecure
Laurent would be dumbfounded really because like what? him? with his 3 contacts saved and all of them work-related? Still, he’d care more about MC being upset over all that than anything. But also he doesn't even have a pass, so MC can check it w/out making a fuss
Nino was cheated on, so she gets it, she’s fine with MC checking her phone but not so fine with being accused and blamed, so they might argue over that
Flavio, like Nino, gets it, but also doesn’t because he’s like if anyone would cheat it would be MC, not the other way around, like make it make sense?? He’d let MC check his phone whenever tho and if MC did the same that’d actually reassure him a lot
Alan would be miffed because ‘what, do I look like a fuckboy?’ but also he kinda was so like, ‘fair enough.’ He defo has a lot of patience for the ppl he loves, so even if it pissed him off he’d just deal with it, but he’d demand to see MC’s phone in return, tit for tat and all
