while i work on cliffjumper i have a question abt wheeljack, thundercracker, and springer designs

they look fairly similar, and im trying to avoid repeated or very similar designs. I WANNA HEAR WHAT YOU THINK!! obviously tho they'll be more color coded like greener gray and bluer gray but!

yes hi sorry i dissappeared for a while 😁 i did artfight and then i kinda forgot how to draw afterward and then school started so i had alot going on 😓 but im back 🎉 and catformers continues 🎉🎉 with skyfire!!

if you cant see what it says at the bottom it says "muddy/dirty sections cus he digs around and stuff (scientist)"

ravage in my catformers au!

if you saw one of my very first posts (the one abt the refs), you might remember i was orginally going to make ravage a dog, because at the time of making them, i was still very new to transformers, and (like most people i hope) thought ravage was a dog at first in g1. BUT NOW THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE MAWAHA!!! now i understand more mhm 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

i still wanted ravage to be something other than a regular cat, so i whipped out the serval card! not a domestic cat, but still a cat none the less. and yes ravage talks in my au i do in fact make the rules but i think she'll talk pretty rarely. she/he/they ravage supremacy.

ok so for the lore; I'd like to think ravage came across the atlantic ocean from the 1970s pet trade! (for those of you who dont know, in the 70's, exotic and non native animals came various regions into the u.s. from pet trade and some escaped in florida due to a hurricane) shes been just traveling across the u.s. i think. eventually found laserbeak and buzzsaw first, then soundwave when he was pretty young. more on this later cus its not fleshed out yet :b

soundwave catformer!!

it was kinda hard figuring out how i wanted to color him but i think it turned out ok :) his face and neck were hard too but i can deal w/ it. its not my best or favorite but its ok enough i think!!! if i decide to fix it ill upload the fixed one if it ever happens

i apologize if the quality may be bad! his canvas turned out to be VERY LONG so i had to make it smaller than i usually do but yayyy i did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! height diffs chart & more yapping below the cut!!

i did have a hard time trying to decide how he shouldve looked. I gave him kinda a trapezoidal (?) shaped head from his fur to mock his wide head lol.

i also had trouble deciding what to do with his hand, because DUH HE DOESNT HAVE IT!!!! went back and forth choosing between like nothing or a peg leg 💀 i thought a peg was a tad too silly for my story? but i still wanted him to be a formidable fighter, because he is! and if you read my lore post, you might remember i was indeed a warrior cats fan..... so with this background, i remembered HUZZAH!! DEADFOOT FROM WARRIOR CATS!!! if you dont know, deadfoot had a twisted paw from when he was a baby, and basically wasnt able to use it properly his whole life. But! he eventually became the second in command to his whole clan for a long time! So, there was really no reason shockwave wouldnt be able to be a skilled fighter with a missing foot. so yeah. thats why that happened 😁

looking at this now i kinda feel like he should be bigger? but i didnt want to make him taller than optimus obviously so i had to compromise sigh

prowl. prowl was annoying to draw. i restarted his sketch AND lineart like 5 times arrggg 😭😭😭 but! no matter. I still think somethings off but if i figure it out ill probably just redraw him like i did with optimus. I like his colors tho!! i also did tfa 😁
