Annabeth who's touch starved but doesn't know and thinks its just normal and eventually figures it out when her and Percy start dating but doesn't know how to ask for things yet, so she'll just silently slip her hand into his or sit just a bit closer than normal to him while trying her damnedest to not draw attention to it.

Percy eventually picks up on it and begins to make sure some part of him is always touching Annabeth when they're standing/sitting next to each other (ie. always holding hands, having his arm around her shoulder, coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist)
