Red Heart # 5: Is your OC vengeful?
I would say Penna isn't a vengeful person. She holds grudges, sure, but she's seen first hand that vengence doesn't magically make all your problems disappear. She's witnessed Ravus and Ardyn, along with her Hunter rival Livia, nearly destroy themselves in their quests for vengence, and they all ended up in the same place: alone. Penna has been alone most of her life by her own choice, and she realizes that she doesn't want that anymore.
The one time Penna allows herself to be truly vengeful is when she punches General Caligo in the face and breaks his nose after he's captured, as payback for murdering Jared and almost kidnapping her, Talcot and Iris in Lestallum.
Green Heart # 6: Is your OC generous? If so, is their generosity conditional?
At first, Penna's generosity was conditional. When she first joined the Chocobros's party as their guide and potion maker, she only did it so she could prove herself a capable Hunter, and because she needed their weapons and magic to fight when she could not. She didn't even care about stopping Niffelheim or reclaiming Insomnia, since she had no allegiance towards either nation. However, as she continued on her journey with the boys, Penna learned how much damage Niffelheim has caused all over Eos, that so many innocents have lost their homes and families, and how Noctis truly does care about protecting his people. Furthermore, the boys treat Penna as a friend and equal, and don't abandon her once they learn the truth about her daemon powers. Penna then willingly offers her knowledge and skills to the group, wanting to fight for the same cause they do and to repay them for showing her the most kindness she ever felt since she lost her parents.
Purple Heart # 3: Does your OC daydream often?
Yes, Penna often daydreams, especially when she's strumming her guitar or stargazing. These activities brings her back to happier memories of her childhood with her parents, and helps her feel closer to them.
Brown Heart #2: What animal do you associate with your OC?
I associate Penna with birds, particularly sparrows! "Little Sparrow" was once her childhood nickname, something her dad used to call her. Birds represent freedom, which is what Penna longs for the most: freedom from the constant superveillance and scrutiny of her caretaker Ezma and the other Hunters; from her insecurities and fears about her own powers; from the lonliness and grief brought on by her parents' deaths. Penna also has a fondness for the different avian species found in Eos, from the friendly Chocobo to the territorial Zu. Penna even daydreams about flying, which she eventually does once she learns to embrace her winged daemon form. Penna wears bird symolbism in the form of a black feather pendant around her neck, a gift Prompto gave her.
