gonna add onto this you all gotta stop acting like m/f is just cishet when bisexual people exist and straight trans people exist.
last add on alot of m/f ships of poc or white/poc ship are constantly downplayed for bland white m/m or f/f ships
#also sometimes u guys r just fuckig misogynist. abt the women in m/f ships. sorry
we're not ever gonna make this website a safe space for black people or have a substantial black user base anymore unless y'all (non blacks obv) come to grips with the fact that y'all hold internal biases whether some of y'all be blatantly racist and hide behind your disabilities/mental illnesses queerness/transness or it's something as simple as if you see a black face on your dash you immediately swipe up
Person with OCD here; what the fuuuuuuck is that logic.
You know something I've always found funny? Obviously not in the real funny way, but in the "ofc it is" way?
For France to hate Black people and immigrants, they sure do have a bunch on their World Cup team 👀 for the planet to dislike Black people as deeply as they do, as soon as it's time for major sports events, suddenly everybody sure can find a couple of us to represent 👀
It's almost like they want us for entertainment and see us as sources of physical strength, but don't want to see us as humanity any other time 👀
reblog this for good luck
I think we need to kill the sentiment that people lose their right to personhood once they do something bad enough
I don't know who needs to hear this but you need to stop dehumanising people even if those people are "abusers" or "creeps" because you need to understand that you are not immune to doing something equally as bad
Abusers and creeps are not some species of especially heinous animal or alien or monster wearing the face of a human. They're people. And you NEED to drill it into your head that they are people because you NEED to remember that people are capable of doingn heinous shit. And you are a person. And your loved ones are people.
By emotionally classifying people who have done heinous things as subhuman filth incapable of thinking and feeling and acting just like you and me, and by using that emotional dehumanization as a reason to deny those people any compassion or support on a systemic level, you risk becoming blind to abuse/violence perpetrated by someone close to you or even yourself. Because if "abusers don't deserve rights", then you won't ever want to admit or accept that you or a loved one is perpetrating abuse, and that makes stopping the abuse or preventing further abuse much harder. This is how you end up excuaing abusive behaviour on the grounds that, since you don't see someone as a disgusting subhuman pile of garbage therefore they can't possibly be An Abuser, Trademark
And here'a the even harder pill to swallow: since the world isn't split into "abusers" and "good people", in the same way you or someone you love can inflict abuse/violence on others, the people who HAVE inflicted abuse/violence on others can, in fact, change and become better people
There is no bottomless chasm of moral uncleanliness that someone can run off and fall into and get stuck in forever. People can do better. Yes, even those people. You HAVE to accept this. Otherwise not only is there no motivation for anyone to try and do better (which is when people become stuck in a cycle of violence and abuse they don't want to escape), but your idea of a perfect justice system doesn't look any different from Literal Christian Hell. And I HOPE you understand that Literal Christian Hell is, to put it very lightly, not a good justice system.
Because we're all reading Medical Apartheid now, and some coworkers brought up The Handmaid's Tale to me the other day, it got me thinking about how The Handmaid's Tale is basically a white woman's fantasy about being treated like an enslaved Black woman.
Like, wow, wouldn't it be horrific if white women were treated merely as bodies to be used? Wouldn't it be horrific if they were raped, if they had their children taken from them, if they weren't allowed to read or write, if they were hanged and abused, if they were treated as sexual objects...
So number 1: why do we need a distant dystopian future to imagine something that has happened and is still happening? and number 2: why did it have to be a white woman before you empathized? I mean, we all know, but. Not to mention there being zero Black people or even a non-Black person of color in the novel.
This can be applied to lots of different dystopia fiction too. The fact that the protagonist has to be a white person for the horror to set in for the audience when what is happening to them is something white people have perpetuated on Black people is so insidious.
(Highly recommend Medical Apartheid to your followers who might not have picked it up btw and to join the book club. Extremely important read, and the author (Harriet Washington) is brilliant at constructing her arguments.)
#Make Racists Scared Again 2026
Share if you want people to know they should be scared to be racist around you 👊🏾
hearing people laugh and make fun of names that "sound black" like latifah, teresa, lashonda, etc. Like yes, these are names of people, not a "funny word" for you to use as a joke.
This is racism.
It's especially frustrating when the names start to gain popularity among white people and suddenly they're fine.
Being asexual and racist is embarassing as fuck. Being racist at all is obviously embarassing as fuck but the amount of racism and especially antiblackness i have been seeing from asexuals recently is obscene.
One of the only asexual activists is Yasmin Benoit, a Black woman. She has raised so much awareness for the community. She was the first asexual person to lead Pride in London, she started the #thisiswhatasexuallookslike movement and is THE leading voice for the community.
And you all will celebrate international asexuality day on April 6th but we wouldn't even have that if she hadn't cofounded it.
Edit: why are you all too scared to repost this. Cmon. Be vocal about being against racism
You misused thou/thee in a joke post and provoked my ire.
“Commission open? Dm me” - commission scam
“I have something important to tell you but can’t message u pls message me ” - accidentally reported you scam
“I love your story and want to illustrate it dm me at discord” - commissioner scam
“I saw your post looking for artists to draw (x) and would love to draw it it sounds like a lovely idea and im an artist” - commissioner scammer who DM’d you when you didn’t ask
“Did you send me this link for free tumblr premium?” - accidentally reported you scam
“ your account is limited please kindly verify at (scam link)” - verification scam
I will also say this:
The next time anyone sends me anything that someone said about me or relevant to me (e.g. this latest situation with the racist and her Dubbed White Knight) involving antiblackness, and you aren't asking me a question...
If the next part about it isn't about YOU saying something in response to said problem BEFORE telling me, I don't want to hear it. I'm tired of being told about things that mistreat me or my community in whispers, because you have no intention to do anything about it, but want to see something done. This isn't TV, this isn't entertainment.
If YOU don't care enough to speak up about it, if YOU are frightened of the social consequences, don't assume that I'M immediately going to be the attack dog and do so for you. That's not you being an ally. That's you sending me into a place where you know I'll be alone and unsafe. Being an ally means getting out of your comfort zone and DOING something about the injustice you're witnessing. Otherwise... You're just asking for validation at my sacrifice.
Speak up or don't, but don't throw our bodies in the way.
“Because the truth is, tech doesn’t have an image problem. It doesn’t have a message problem. It has an intention problem. What’s wrong with the axe murderer who broke into my house is not that he hasn’t successfully persuaded me to buy into his narrative. What’s wrong is that he’s trying to kill me with an axe. Similarly, when you launch a product that’s designed to put millions of people out of work, block access to sources of verifiable truth, replace human creativity with slop, and lower the barriers to every sort of atrocity, the problem isn’t that you haven’t told the public a good story about those things. The problem is that you are trying to do them.”

Everyone should be aware of nitter.net
for any address to twitter you can replace the “x.com” with “nitter.net” and you will be able to browse as if you have an account. Lifesaver.
Similarly, imginn.com works for most Instagram addresses. I still haven’t found one for Facebook.
