Sometimes I wish Siren & Lockboy was more well known, but at the same time, I’m kinda glad that it and us-it’s fanbase-are still relatively underground because it means the fandom as a whole is less toxic than say TADC.It IMMEDIATELY went mainstream, and now look at what’s happening, unfortunately.Hell, that principal seems to apply to any piece of media who’s fandom grows too big and fast for fandom netiquette to keep up, or who’s fandoms are just so massive, netiquette is somewhat impossible.Hopefully for us, if and when the fan base grows larger, it isn’t going to be a toxic hellscape because there’s already standards and expectations for behavior set in place.
I notice alot of my followers on here skipping these posts just to mess with my lgbt ones, suspiciously the white popular ones.
Heres a not so friendly reminder, as an lgbt metis person, i dont give a single fuck what your blog is themed or if this is too painful for you to look at. Reblog this post. Reblog this post with the sources of the 751 children who were found.
Your compliance and silence as well as the compliance and silence of your ancestors is what allowed these schools to open and kill first nations children. The children of MY people.
Dont follow me if you cant reblog this post or the one with sources to your political blog or your most popular blog. Add trigger warnings if you must but if your political blog is only focused on the harms you personally face like being lgbt then you need to see some bigger pictures and stop being afraid of angering your racist mutural or actually saying some shit about racism. If you can reblog some antifa graphics or add blm to your bio to be a surface level ally, you can reblog some sources on the genocide first nations people faced and still face today.
I’d like to add this photo I took last night in Victoria of the statue of Captain Cook. Though I myself am not indigenous, I 100% agree that these murderers, kidnappers and rapists shouldn’t have huge statues and plaques that decorate them and say how “great” they were.
Here’s another photo of the legislative assembly from yesterday. Later on there were more items, candles and signs at the memorial, as well as a big poster with 1505 painted on it but I didn’t get a picture
People need to see this. Not just quickly glance at the photos and keep on scrolling. They need to see this.
I had seen the first picture of the church, but not the second.
I went to a “Cancel Canada Day” event and burst into tears - not because I was surprised to learn of the unmarked graves (survivors told us they were there. Our government pushed it aside, and we let them), but because seeing all the people gathered in mourning drove it home: They. Were. Children.
This is my country’s legacy - and it’s not history. The last schools closed during my lifetime. My Father went to school with students who lived at the local residential school, after it was changed to a boarding house (read: holding centre) for indigenous youth who went to local schools.
They were all children, injured, abused, and killed in my country’s attempt to erase them. I want the world to see this and hold the state accountable to *active* reconciliation> I mean we could at least truly adopt UNDRIP in action instead of words for god’s sake.
here you can read an article about a survivor of the church and some of the things he experienced to help put into perspective how awful and just how recent it was
If you’re uncomfortable with the fact that the church is being held accountable and Indigenous peoples are rightfully angry, and not the fact that the church killed and raped CHILDREN…then you’re not a good person. You just aren’t.
Speaking of nightgaunts…have you ever encountered Nodens?
Never, thank goodness. I suspect the night-gaunts were attempting to convey me to him on one occasion, but I managed to free myself before we reached his abyssal domain. His powers are quite mysterious even to the most skilled dreamers, and I dread to think of his reasons for trying to capture me...
I see.I was partially hoping that you had some dirt on the deity, as even my knowledge on him is a little spotty, but given that you and other dreamers don’t really know much about him I will give you what I know.He and Nyarlathotep are constantly at odds with each other, he is known to help humans though only when he knows it will enrage the Crawling Chaos, and I believe he’s a leader of the Elder Gods.He-like myself-thrills in the hunt, typically hunting down beasts in the Dreamlands.
It’s best you try to steer clear from him, it’s already bad enough that you’ve caught the infinite eyes of The Soul of the Gods, attracting the attention of their sworn enemy…that can and will end in tragedy, even if he’s far weaker than they.
Oh my! Thank you for your advice, I'll keep this in mind. I'd hate to find myself in greater peril, especially considering his rivalry with Nyarlathotep. Getting caught up in that would indeed be a tragedy...

I love the episode ‘Beach Reads’ because you know something is gonna be horrific, and then the reveal is somehow worse than what you initially expected.
The spiders could be argued to be friend-shaped though. And would give you the ultimate scary dog privilege.
Then again we also see shoggoths and shantak birds as friend-shaped, so our standards for 'creatures or people we'd love to befriend' is probably pretty out there.
We truly hate asking for it, but we weren't able to pay our medical bills for months now and we would love to be able to do it. We are looking for a job, but no one wants to hire a disabled queer.
Plus we do need some additional money for food.
And our family isn't going to pay for it, as they both can't afford and don't want us to be disabled.
So here is our Ko-fi. The goal is 600 PLN to cover the medical stuff and have something leftover for food.
This is in celebration for the one week after defeating Lost Lace.I know deep down that this game is going to impact me so much and I can’t wait to see what Team Cherry will cook up next time.(also I’m so sorry for Tumblr eating the quality 😅)
Okay so you don't believe nonbinary people exist. You straight-up don't think people can exist outside the binary. Like, this is jawdroppingly exorsexist.
No, not all nb people are transfem or transmasc. Transitioning as a person who was afab is not inherently masculinizing and doesn't necessitate becoming "less feminine" because having been afab doesn't make you feminine? Fucking hello??? Society imposes femininity on you but saying afab = feminine is both sexist and transphobic on such a basic level.
I am not innately feminine because I was assigned female. I am not feminine, masculine, or androgynous, I do not relate myself to gender in any way and it is actively misgendering to say that I am. You are calling me feminine for having been afab and masculine for not being cis when I am neither of those things. I am a person with a body that I want people to stop trying to gender.
Forcibly gendering nonbinary people is misgendering. It is exorsexist, it is transphobic, and it is sexist.
Also wtf is that last bit about nonbinary people afab having inherent privilege over nonbinary people amab because they're "departing from being misogyny affected"??? Do you honestly believe nonbinary people afab stop experiencing misogyny. Can you be fucking serious for a second.
"a transmasculine nb person will have more favor under the patriarchy than a transfeminine nb person despite them being the same gender" ?????
I
What
Nonbinary is an enormous trans umbrella, two people can both be nonbinary and not be the same gender. I am nonbinary and have had many nonbinary friends and I have only been the same kind of nonbinary as one of them. This is like saying saying a bullfrog and a tiger salamander are the same animal because they're both amphibians.
Everyone who says transmasculine enbies get the favor of the patriarchy should have the experiences of my transmasc friend from highschool blasted directly into their brains. Or two of my transmasc friends from college. Sexism often targets deviation from what it deems acceptable gender in all forms. None of them have gotten the favor of the patriarchy, and in fact all of them have experienced violence and violation from the system this person says should favor them.
This post is also incredibly intersexist, on top of being exorsexist.
It assumes there are only two ways to be born - afab or amab, male or female, boy or girl. That there are only two ways to go through puberty without medication - again, boy or girl, always corresponding with the asab/agab. That there are only two ways to be raised in our society - male or female.
It completely ignores the fact that intersex people exist, that one can in fact be born, raised or go through puberty that isn't strictly male or female. That people can be born with mixed sex characteristics or get them naturally (without medication or surgeries).
It also assumes that every afab trans person wants to take testosterone and wants to be masculine and that every amab trans person wants to take oestrogen and be feminine. That one can only transition in one direction (always away from their asab/agab). And that real androgyny isn't really achievable under the patriarchy.
We are intersex. We were not treated as one of the girls or one of the boys growing up, at least not by most people around us. Our mother and grandmothers really wanted a girl, but outside of them we don't think we were ever seen as a real girl by society in general. Even though our intersex variation was hidden from us, we were still treated differently because of it.
Our body also isn't strictly male or female just because we haven't transitioned medically yet. It's in between. We some have sex characteristics considered male and some considered female. We don't even have either of the typical human genitalia or gonads. So we are not transitioning from a clear, "female" direction.
We also want to transition both towards masculinity and femininity. We want to get top surgery/mastectomy, but we also want oestrogen (or at least T blockers) and a vaginoplasty. We want to grow out our facial hair and we like our natural voice, but we also want to wear a wig (or maybe grow out our head hair), wear dresses, femme blouses and skirts, and use makeup. So we are not transitioning towards a clear "male" direction.
The post in question is just reinventing the sex and gender binary with extra steps. And we really don't like it.
Image description under the cut, as this post is getting long.
[ID: A text post with OOP's name omitted. It reads: "Let me try again. It really fucking pisses me off when people act as if enbies exist outside the definitions of transfem and transmasc just because they don't "lean towards" one gender or another. Striving for androgyny doesn't exempt you from the social and societial forces of patriarchy, misogyny, and transphobia as influenced by our gender assigned at birth and believing otherwise betrays a deep misunderstanding of... fucking everything. Just because a trans person is not a man or a woman doesn't mean they do not have an agab and a "direction" to their transition. An enby person afab is transmasculine because their transition is masculinizing. In order to be androgynous they need to be less feminine. Iff they took hrt it would be testosterone. This also informs how they interact with misogyny, transphobia, etc. A transmasculine NB person will have more favour under patriarchy than a transfeminine NB person, despite them being the same gender, because the transmasculine person is departing from being misogyny affected and the transfeminine person is becoming misogyny affected." End: ID]
This post is also incredibly transandrophobic because the poster makes the bad faith argument that trans men-and masculine people in general-have more privilege than feminine people.
That statement is proven false because anyone who doesn’t conform to the patriarchal gender standard- even if they are masculine- get no additional privileges or sympathy from the very system that hurts them.
Basically they’re an eldritch creature about as old as the universe with a morbid sense of humor, doesn’t give two flying shits about human standards(and stupidity), and maaay be feral. Also the literally two faced drawing is what they actually look like.
I’ve noticed that in media where there is an autistic character, they’re typically portrayed to be likable or they have likable personality traits.Like where are our sardonic autistic characters?Where are our sarcastic autistic characters?Hell, where are our straight up mean and rude autistic characters?
Maybe one reason why they aren’t being portrayed is that even neurotypical people with those qualities are disliked, and creators don’t want to give bigots even more of a reason to hate on their autistic-or their neurodivergent-characters.Even if that is the case, I still feel that we should have mean and aggressive autistic people portrayed in our stories. And to show how bad this lack of ‘evil autism’ really is I can only think of two characters off the top of my head who are autistic(or autistic coded) and come off as sardonic, cold, and kinda mean being Donnie from Rise and Maomao from Apothecary Diaries. That’s it.(I will also add that these characters are well beloved in their fandom spaces, so they are also proof that meaner autistic characters CAN be loved-not to mention the ‘I’m autistic and a cunt’ meme bouncing around)
Yes, giving a character dislikable traits can be hard, but having ONLY ‘good’ representation is boring, and will eventually be harmful.
