So remember how I bought a motion activated night light for the toilet? Well the cats seem to have discovered it. So I went to for a late night piss and was greeted to an ominous sight
duel the guardian of the piss alter
My dash is a disaster of reblogs and I blame this comment lol
HA. Finally caught him doing it. BEHOLD! The piss guardian himself
poseidon quivers before him
Imagine youāre some little evil woman sitting in Hadesā throne room when Orpheus walks in to make a deal to get Eurydice back, and Hades is like āyeah ok, just donāt look back otherwise she has to stay hereā then walks out of the room. Almost immediately after hearing the conditions, Orpheus breaks his own neck so that is is physically impossible for him to turn it, and then demands that you gouge out his eyes ļæ¼for good measure. ļæ¼ Eurydice then gets really upset because sheās convinced this is a sign that Orpheus hates her and never wants to see her again, and Orpheus is completely convinced that this was a normal and logical thing to do.
You are literally the only person in the universe who recognizes this as an act of love. They both then insult you to your face for thinking this is anything other than very normal (Orpheus), or petty hatred (Eurydice).
You are Ianthe Tridentarius.
That last line took me out!
Breaking news from the Cat News Network!!
It's still me, I have another question,
In your book you say that demons danced as well as a British band during the Eurovision song contest. I'm very curious but I don't really have any British references in this area. May I know which lovely group was targeted by this remark? Thank you :)
I wasn't thinking of any specific group when I wrote that. But this would be an example of the kind of dancing I was thinking of:

A computer science student named Priyanjali Gupta, studying in her third year at Vellore Institute of Technology, has developed an AI-based model that can translate sign language into English.
This is what we need AI for. Not generating pictures using millions of stolen pieces of art, or generating shitty false articles using the stolen work of hundreds of thousands of writers. AI can be good, and it can be used for good things. This is an incredible feat and I hope Priyanjali gets the recognition and support she deserves for this amazing project.

Remi works with a hesitant, erratic violence, creating a piece as light and fluffy as she is, and signing her work by hole-punching it with her teeth.
Timmy uses bold, strong lines to evoke some kind of powerful event, echoing his powerful presence and loud voice.
Nubbins, truly inspired, creates a high-energy piece that symbolizes the void where his brain should be, surrounded by chaos and mischief.
Kona, a reclusive avante garde artist, refused to work with me around. Only in quiet solitude did she create this haunting, introspective work.
With the announcement of the Harry Potter TV series, you will be made aware of the people in your social circle who are excited about it.
Now is a good time to stop knowing them.
The play here is fairly blatant.
Hire new 12 year olds that havenāt condemned JK Rowlingās horrendous views
Aggressively condemn the inevitable people who say shit about said 12 year olds online to take the moral high ground
Turn it into a show that people hate watch for maximum revenue
Friendly reminder that JK Rowling is the executive producer for this show. So in addition to benefiting monetarily from its very existence, she will be an active participant in creating its narrative. I won't be watching it and I encourage everyone else to ignore its existence as well.

Eda starts of the story being badass and disabled, and by the end, shes even more badass and more disabled
there's really something to how hera sees eiffel, like, how much of eiffel in memoria is eiffel - not just in hera's memories, but in her perception of him... the fake memories that maxwell creates, how everyone else "says" things about hera's personal traits or professional abilities, but eiffel... "i've never met anyone like hera. [...] she's my best friend. best friend i've ever had." ... the way hera tries to cut maxwell off before she can hear cruel words about herself in eiffel's voice - it's specifically eiffel she doesn't want to hear it from, and it reflects more specific and genuine fears (that he doesn't understand her, and doesn't care to listen) than the others do.
even the part about hera's mental infrastructure, most of those lines are pretty much interchangeable as far as whose voice they're in, but... "it's like you're making a movie, right?" / "eiffel..." / "i'm serious." ... it's specific to eiffel, and to hera's understanding of who eiffel is. the part in bach to the future where hera tells him he's actually very good at his job, but sometimes he ought to take himself more seriously... there's a way she understands him, the way he communicates... hera does take him seriously; she recognizes the sincerity behind his flippant pop culture framing. in one sense, that's why she's more hurt by some of the (real, actual) things he's said to her - because she cares what he has to say - but on the other hand... it's why her memory of minkowski at the end of memoria is "you are the smartest person i know, hera" but her memory of eiffel is him saying "use the force, luke"... it's objectively ridiculous, but it's true to who he is, and it's hera's connection to him, her trust in him and her fondness for him, more than any one specific thing he's said to her... that's what pulls her through.
