Well, I wish that I was as good as you caring and trusting. And I wish that my condition was new but I'm old and rusting...
There was nothing left of me...
A bird hit by a car, I tumbled, flapping,
The car, was some intangible period,
within the traffic of time, that passed my life by.
Struck down, I hobble, I flail, I cling to life with feathers, loosing dust upon the world from my twisted wings.
I am caught once more by the current of time, seized by a wheel I am run over.
My intimate anatomy, leaks from me, blood followed by organs,
trailing like parasitic worms from my beak
Again and again and again time rolls over me
Compressing, pushing, was that once a head, a wing?
A smear upon the concrete, what was there yesterday?
My matter is lost, spread so far, lost all shape..
My molecules remember me not...
