Mikey and Raph are the most enthusiastic about Halloween. They always do elaborate costumes and spend all night out wandering the streets, which inevitably ends with them rough housing around the lair, on a sugar rush (like obviously the turtles are always rowdy but on Halloween night it's even more so). The inevitable sugar crash knocks them out for a whole day afterwards lol.

The twins still like Halloween but they're not *as* enthusiastic about it. They do like seeing Raph finally being carefree, letting himself act like a teenager for once. Out of the whole night that's both of their favorite part.

And Splinter will grump about being dragged around NY in a cheap costume but he really loves the tradition and wouldn't change it for anything.

Basically Halloween is a very good time of year for them all.

and occasionally someone will come up to the four of them and go “why are you guys dressed up as turtles AND __” In which Donnie will almost reply that they’re not costumes before one of the other brothers stops him and makes something up.

Mikey probably decorates the entire place with Halloween decorations he’s collected, and also makes everyone orange masks (besides himself) in different shades. And Raph always sets up for movie marathons after the whole trick or treating thing since TorT only takes until 9pm. so he’ll have hot cocoa and everything ready for them to watch Halloween movies.

id like to share my idea of rottmnt april and donnie being in a qpr. both of them are on the aromantic spectrum, donnie not feeling any attraction at all and april being demiromantic and/or greyromantic. 

and sometimes donnie gets upset because everyone around him is getting into romantic relationships, including april, and he feels unimportant. but april reassures him that she finds their qpr just as important as her romantic relationship.

mikey from basically any generation is an age regressor. like it would just make sense, and i think 2012 leonardo would also age regress to deal with the stress of being leader.

2012 leonardo being selectively mute is one of my favorite headcanons. (i will admit, its more of a comfort headcanon so there’s not too many canon moments you can use to say ““this is why he is!””) but i’ll probably try to elaborate on it later because it makes me super happy.

dumping about this on here before i write a mini-fic about it.

leonardo has dyspraxia. 

its mainly self projection and i take small details and absolutely run with them. like 2012 leo messes up on his speech sometimes or stumbles over his words, i take that and run.

but 2018 leonardo, hoho. he does that AND stumbles/falls a lot. i’d like to think he took longer than the others to form words and actually speak in full-coherent sentences. so his vocabulary wouldn’t be that large, but mostly because sounding out words is difficult for him.

but now that i think about it, mikey would TOTALLY have dyspraxia but i’ll work on that because he would have more symptoms n evidence(?)
