This is misleading.  CA has cut 73% of their polling locations because they shifted to 100% vote by mail statewide except LA County in 2018 and LA Co in 2020.  Nevada is also mailing every registered voter a ballot for 2020.  They are making it easier to vote not harder like this graphic implies.

Do you think Scott will take over running Ilderton skate club, or will he end up at one of the big clubs (or eventually do both of those things during his career)? I really don't know how the coaching world works, or what Scott wants of course!

I’m speculating here, but my impression is that Scott’s biggest enjoyment in coaching is with molding younger skaters, rather than… maintaining the seniors, shall we say.  Teaching the basics, or just beyond the basics, with a lot of influence on how they turn out.  Paul Mac, or even Igor, rather than a Marina or Patrice.  I don’t know if he would want so young as CanSkate beginners. But, I could be wrong, maybe he would want the community itty-bitties or established seniors… or maybe he won’t coach regularly at all.

I know everyone wants him to join Gadbois or the Toronto Cricket Club, I actually seem him joining Paul’s crew (or becoming the equivalent in Ilderton).  T&S always talk about that period as the key to their success.  That is where they learned how to be a partnership and developed discipline.  Maybe Charlie can pop over to help with the choreography.  :)

A Democratic President does nothing if Congress is controlled by Republicans. Your local elections are important, too. (It took us 20 years, but you notice we don’t have issues with our sheriff out here in Phoenix now we’ve voted out Joe Arpaio.)

Don’t skip any. Look up names on your phone while you’re in the ballot booth if you have to. VOTE YOUR WHOLE BALLOT.

A PSA because a lot of people don’t know this: You CAN take your phone into the ballot booth, no one will stop you. You CAN google names from inside the ballot booth, no one will stop you. The only time you can get in trouble is, in some states, if you take a photo of your ballot. You CAN also take a long time voting. There are lots of booths usually, don’t worry about the line if you need to think about anything. Voting is not a high school exam. You’re allowed to bring your phone. Please do that in case there’s something on the ballot you don’t understand!

without a doubt - one day for sure. Maybe not now.

MF/P have not been competing for over 10 years and they’re just being inducted now. So I have no doubt they will be.

Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is in Calgary and people will not be considered for induction until 4 years after retirement.

Someith them still not officially retired…it could be a while.

the fact that nobody on my dash is talking about net neutrality is baffling like? if net neutrality is removed, IT WILL AFFECT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. the internet will no longer be free, just imagine having to pay a LOT of money to use websites and things like tumblr, google, twitter, youtube, facebook, amazon, instagram, snapchat, skype, discord, gaming services, ALL social media platforms, email, etc. it will completely demolish our internet freedom. imagine the poor artists, bloggers, photographers, and other content creators will be making things into a complete void where nobody will see anything because we wont be able to afford to. you will end up paying a ton of money for slower internet and far less privileges, IF you are able to afford it. we all lose big time with this and nobody seems to care.
