It makes me sad that Joshua Graham is always boiled down to “angry burned man” and his most attributed quote is the “fire inside me”. That’s not even his most important quote, he straight up tells you his most important quote. “Waging war against good people is bad for the soul. This may not seem important now, but it’s the most important thing I’ve said”. He doesn’t say innocent, he doesn’t say pure. Good, good people. People who are trying the best they can to be good. Think of how many characters you can kill in New Vegas that this applies to. He also doesn’t say it’s wrong for you to do this, but it’s bad for your soul. It won’t physically hurt you, but it’ll create a wound in you that’ll never heal. He doesn’t even mean this is important when you meet him, objectively it’s not. But it has larger meaning, it’ll be important to you at some point. Joshua Graham is such a rich deep character. Don’t boil him down to angry fire man. Remember that he is dealing with his demons and that there is more to him than fire and pain
