Summary:

This oneshot features a few glimpses into the daily life of Sun, Moon, and Eclipse- retail workers that literally can't leave their job... You live a few blocks away from your favorite gas station, "Starlight Co."- owned and operated by Fazbear's Gas and Snacks. Which is amazing since you have an unhealthy addiction to caffeine, and three animatronics which are more than happy to indulge. However, none of them are aware that it's not just the drinks you like...

“Well… I made your favorite. The Pick-Me Up Special,” he reached under the counter for the drink. “Pineapple blended with low-fat yogurt and caffeine powder, chunks of pineapple thrown in, topped with whipped cream and…” He brought out a hand from behind his back and sprinkled the toppings on. “Granola and sprinkles.”

A concoction only your twisted mind could make.

“Nice!” you exclaimed eagerly. “That’s my healthy treat for the day.”

He squinted, “Healthy?”

You shrugged as you dropped a straw in the smoothie. “It’s got pineapple… and granola. That’s healthy.” You slurped up the first taste and exhaled with relief. “This is amazing. This’ll get me through the day, for sure.”

“But not the night? I think I know someone who will be happy to hear that.” You smiled, and he swore he saw a blush creeping its way onto your face. His chest ached, but it wasn’t him aching. It wouldn’t be much longer until Moon’s shift started; he would just have to be patient. “It’s still my shift,” Eclipse thought, admittedly a little greedily. He cleared his throat. “Well, enjoy your drink. Let me know if you need anything before you head out.”

4. Do they have an accent or dialect?

- To humans, its all the same. Moon sounds like an owl. Sun sounds like a harpy eagle. But to other harpies, they do have a more "country-fied" accent. They didn't stay in the bigger flock with the others and developed what other harpies would find more rural mannerisms.

10. Do they need their hands occupied a lot? If so, what do they do?

- Honestly, not really! Harpies use their hands mainly for tearing into food, holding onto surfaces, and attacks. Thats not to say they dont use their hands the way humans do! It's just a bit uncommon for them. They dont use their hands for gestures– they use their beak or facial expressions more. If anything, they fidget more with their feet by tapping their claws and stepping back and forth.

13. Any foods they avoid for reasons other than taste?

- Not really. Here's some stuff for why they avoid for the taste tho. Moon isn't a big fan of fruit. As an owl, Moon is carnivore. (Not all owls are, Ik). But he absolutely loathes fruits. Can't stand anything too sweet or tart. Sun is the same, he has developed a particular taste for anything with reptilian scales– tho that’s more of a rare delicacy and out of spite than out of any real enjoyment.

2. Is their voice quiet or loud?

- typically loud. very loud lmao. they dont know how to whisper haha. I imagine them leaning into Reader's ear and trying to whisper, "Who's this idiot?" But everyone hears them.....

3. Do they have unusual speech patterns?

- Not really, though they do tend to break into song randomly. Especially when they're being condescending toward people.

7. Neat or messy handwriting?

- Messy cursive. Sun's is very flowy– so flowy that it's hard to read. Sun writes very quickly, not caring at all if its legible. Moon's is very scratchy and sharp. He takes a long time to write because he wants it to look good, but it always looks like someone writing a ransom note.

8. Do they draw/paint a lot?

- Yes! They have their own room that is plastered in paintings. Their art is very "art nouveau" meets Pablo Picasso. It makes others uncomfortable cuz no one can really tell what they're looking at. Even Reader can't see the things they say are in the picture. But! They have fun, and Reader always compliments their work regardless of the confusion. They want to paint Reader one day, but... well... their confidence isn't quite there yet.

9. Are they good or bad at making handicrafts?

- Pretty good! They aren’t the best, of course. Sun is worse than Moon. Moon is very deliberate and patient when he wants something to look good. (Or just wants something. Master of playing the long game... hint, hint). Sun tends to want something done now, and if hes not good at it immediately doesnt want to do it anymore.

10. Do they need their hands occupied a lot? If so, what do they do?

- Only around you. (Ever since you taught them more about bodily autonomy they try to always ask before even the slightest of touches). They typically just fidget with their own fingers or with their tassels or bells. I can see Moon twirling a finger around the bells at the end of his hat when you talk.

Fanfic idea I'm working on, Late Night Obsession

(hoping to be 4 chapters)

- Sun, Moon, and Eclipse all reside/work at a convenience store. They aren't allowed to leave the store grounds and were built specifically for this job.

- Fazbear is a gas company now with themed gas station/convenience stores

- Y/N lives a few blocks away from the convenience store and has a slight obsession w/ the flavored drinks at the store.

- Sun works Morning Shift, Eclipse works Afternoon Shift, Moon works Night Shift

- All are the same animatronic and are connected to a charging station at all times so the store is open 24/7

- Sun love indulging your love for the drinks. And often has your favorite pre-made before you even arrive

- Moon begrudgingly will give you your beverage, though always has smth to say about the caffeine and sugar so late at night

- Eclipse is quite flirty, somewhat clingy. Often will “forget” smth from your order so you come back sooner. Gives you discounts for the drinks.
