Posting my first video about having ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy) was one of the hardest and most powerful things I’ve ever done. I almost backed out. I was scared of judgment, scared of what might change. But after six years of living with this rare disease, I knew it was time.

The love and support since then has been overwhelming. So I made a follow up video, something more personal, raw, and honest. It’s a behind the scenes look at what I was really feeling in that moment: the nerves, the doubts, the deep breaths... all of it.

Well folks, I have over 💯 views on my first video. How did I do it? I shared my video on every single possibly facebook group that let me. Of course I made sure to be part of every Facebook group that had to do with having a disability, not necessarily ALD. Because there is only a few on Facebook. And not every page let me post my video. Can you believe it? 🤔 I’m trying to change the world 🌎 Nothing is going to stop me from telling the world 🗺️.

Well world, almost a week since I told the world about my disability. On the road to become an influencer of a sort. Who knows? I am so excited for my journey. Looks like I am doing good so far?

Folks, six years ago today, my life changed. I am finally ready to share something personal. I do not have a disability I have a superability. In 2019, I was diagnosed with X-Linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD)—a rare genetic disorder that affects the brain, spinal cord, and adrenal glands. While it comes with challenges, it has never stopped me from pushing forward. I am sharing my story not for sympathy, but to raise awareness, stay motivated, and remind others that disabilities do not define us—we write our own stories.
