For all the green juice/smoothie fans, it is very important to keep rotating the green veggies that you put in ur juices and smoothies. Green veggies contain small amounts of alkaloids which can lead to an alkaloid build up in the body. Also it is better to benefit from the nutrients of the entire range of green veggies. I rotate my veggies only a weekly basis. It's a blueberry pancakes kinda day 😛😁😁!!! Yummy healthy sugar free pancake. 1 cup oats flour, 1 ripe banana, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract. Mix/blend all ingredients well. Keep aside for 10 mins. Add 3/4 cup blueberries to the batter. Scoop out some batter in a ladle and cook in 1tbsp coconut oil on medium heat. Makes 4 medium sized pancakes. So today I juiced leek greens for the first time and since they are obtained from the onion family plant I wasn't sure how it would taste. But this was so good ✌️✌️😀😀 Leek greens are full of vitamins & minerals and very low calories (I use the remainder of the leek in soups). The recipe for this green-full juice is - 1 apple, 2 celery stalks, 3-4 leek greens, 5-6 kale stems, 3-4 purple kale stems, 1 cucumber, 4-5 pineapple chunks, 1/2 inch ginger. Delicious warm chicken soup for the soul. ❤️ Just sautée ur favorite vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, celery, leeks, radish, peas) in olive oil with ginger and garlic paste for about ten mins. Add in boneless chicken cut into small pieces and add water/chicken broth. Then add in some salt, pepper, whole wheat pasta shells and herbs - cilantro, parsley, thyme etc and let cook on medium heat for an hour. Keep stirring. Enjoy this super delicious treat.
