UPDATE: MORE BLANKETS!

After two long weeks of looking, Hussam managed to find 500 blankets for displaced people! The nights in Gaza are quite cold, especially in a tent with little protection from the elements, so these will go a long way to help people stay warm!!

For those of you who have been following this, my tumblr ‘helpgazachildren’ was deleted for unknown reasons. In the meantime, I put together this notion site to help document all the receipts and videos of updates for people who want a backlog of information. I will be continuously updating this site.

The funds should not have been taken away to begin with. This was and remains a mass collective punishment of Palestinian people -just like the continued abstaining or vetoing of a ceasefire in Gaza by zionist supporting governments at the UN. So many of us knew the IOF was lying. That's what they chronically do to further their settler-colonial agenda, and many countries are complicit in this -especially the US that said they wouldn't be investigating the claims but that it could be 'plausible' but they could not confirm if the IOF was telling the truth.

It's just horrendous how Palestinian people have had to document their own genocide for nearly half a year now -and although we have seen horror after horror, western/european mainsteam mass media sources still blatantly remain silent about everything -they don't give an ounce of coverage to what is actually happening inside Gaza through Palestinian people's and journalists voices and lens'. It's absolutely vile.

Lastly, while not inherently about Palestine, I do want to encourage everyone reading this that If you see a post regarding Palestine- a video, a photo, a livestream, a text post- Archive it with the Wayback Machine. When digital information is prone to deletion and censorship, we cannot afford to lose something as valuable as knowledge.

I hate to say this, folks, but there are... caveats. Biden is pushing for a ceasefire of "at least six weeks". Not a permanent ceasefire. Yes, it means something. But we need to continue pushing and be specific.

These past few days, Hussam has been putting together 350 coloring books and colors for the children of the camps to both to help bring a bit of joy to their lives as well as encourage education and learning in the midst of not being able to go to school. Organize protests, sit-ins, peaceful disruptions, or awareness raising events on Israeli attacks on Palestinian sports.
