what’s this genre of post called
Stop moralizing the appearances of other people.
People you think look Ugly aren't evil. People who look different aren’t evil. People with visible disabilities aren’t evil. People who do queerness in ways you don't like or don't relate to aren't evil.
Femme trans men aren’t evil. Masc trans women aren’t evil. Femme trans women aren’t evil. Masc trans men aren’t evil. Nonbinary people of any presentation aren’t evil. Genderfluid people aren’t evil. Gender non-conforming people aren’t evil. People who switch up their gender presentation aren’t evil. People who don’t “pass” aren’t evil. People who do “pass” aren’t evil. Femme cis men aren’t evil. Butch cis women aren’t evil. Femboys aren’t evil. Studs aren’t evil. Twinks aren’t evil. Bears aren’t evil. People with high voices aren’t evil. People with deep voices aren’t evil. People with dysphoria aren’t evil. People without dysphoria aren’t evil. People who transition medically aren’t evil. People who transition socially aren’t evil. People who don’t transition at all aren’t evil.
Androgynous people aren’t evil. Intersex people aren’t evil. People who take hormones aren’t evil. People who don’t take hormones aren’t evil. Fat people aren’t evil. Thin people aren’t evil. Muscular people aren’t evil. Disabled people aren’t evil. Chronically ill people aren’t evil. People who need feeding tubes, ports, or colostomy bags aren’t evil. People who live with pain aren’t evil. People who take medication to survive aren’t evil. People who can’t take medication aren’t evil. People with visible disabilities aren’t evil. People with invisible disabilities aren’t evil. People who mask their symptoms aren’t evil. People who can’t mask aren’t evil.
People with facial disfigurements aren’t evil. People with acne aren’t evil. People with psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, or other skin conditions aren’t evil. People with large noses, big ears, thin lips, asymmetrical features, crooked teeth, or any other feature that doesn’t fit Eurocentric beauty standards are not evil. People who do fit eurocentric beauty standards aren't evil. People with scars aren’t evil. People with body hair aren’t evil. People with alopecia aren’t evil. People with burns or birthmarks aren’t evil. People with prosthetics aren’t evil. People who use mobility aids aren’t evil. People who use wheelchairs, canes, crutches, walkers, braces, or orthotics aren’t evil. People who stim aren’t evil. People who flap, rock, spin, tap, or echo aren’t evil.
People who make unusual faces aren’t evil. People who avoid eye contact aren’t evil. People who talk with their hands or don’t talk at all aren’t evil. People who use AAC devices or sign language aren’t evil. People who struggle with speech aren’t evil. People who tic aren’t evil. People who twitch aren’t evil. People with vocal stims aren’t evil. No one is evil for living in a body that makes you uncomfortable. There is no look, no body, no presentation that makes someone inherently bad. Period.
Stop assigning moral value to how people look.
Because when we do, we create a world where the right face lets you get away with anything, no matter how harmful your actions are. And it’s not just about the usual “beautiful cishet white people” stereotype, either. It happens inside every community, every circle.
In queer spaces, some people get a free pass because they “look queer enough,” "Don't look too queer", "look like a Correct Non-Cis Person", or “fit the vibe,” while others are pushed out or erased because they don’t match the expected aesthetic.
We create a world where people who look “scary,” “different,” or “unsettling” or something we personally consider "Wrong" for the space they're in get treated like they’re inherently harmful or dangerous, and that’s damaging, isolating, and deeply unfair.
When morality gets tangled up with appearances, we start policing each other’s bodies and expressions instead of holding everyone accountable for their behavior. It’s a toxic trap that divides us and lets people harm others under the cover of “looking right.”
Ethics aren’t about how you present yourself or how others perceive you.
Let’s stop using looks as an excuse for injustice. Let’s stop allowing people to hide behind what I will be calling “aesthetic privilege” to avoid accountability. Real community is built on respect, integrity, and support, not on whether someone fits a certain image.
Stop making aesthetics a stand-in for ethics.
TERFs about trans men: you're just trying to transition to gain male privilege. You're a gender traitor, you've become the oppressor!
Trans people on this site for some reason: Yeah, trans men oppress women because they're men. They're an oppressor class who have male privilege and should keep themselves in check.

hey its weird that anons keep asking me my "opinion on trans men" because like my opinion on anyone is based on the quality of their character and not their identity......... why would i have an opinion on trans men in general....... they arent a monolith? theyre all individual people? and if a guy is nice then i like him and if hes nasty then i dont like him and if hes morally ambivalent thats actually shadow the hedgehog and my opinion on him is hes pretty cool

I think a lot of people who make mpreg jokes do it because they consider pregnancy something that 'tames' a person and 'knocks them down a peg'. They think pregnancy is something that marks a person as inherently submissive. Getting pregnant means being submissed to them.
They also think that male pregnancy is a feminist concept not because it recognises trans and intersex men as men, but because something 'feminine' and 'submissive' is forced upon a man. Because that's what pregnancy is to them - something that is done to a person. They think pregnancy is emasculating. Remember this meme?
To people like this it's a feminist line because a woman dominated a man by impregnating him. This is an incredibly fucked up and misogynistic view of pregnancy, and it also reveals the shallow understanding of feminism a lot of people have: masculinity is dominance and femininity is submission, so the idea of a man in a feminine position is inherently feminist, because he is submissed. Especially if he was put in this position by a woman, because then the switch is complete - the woman is the dominant one by forcing him into something.
And yes, I said the idea of a man in a feminine position is inherently feminist to them, NOT the man himself. The feminine position he is in makes him an object to be viewed and discussed, not a subject with thoughts and beliefs. The pregnant man is not a feminist, he's a feminist concept. That, I think, is the core of the problem with mpreg jokes - to people who make them, a pregnant man is an idea, a symbol, a fictional situation, instead of a real human being. They ignore the existance of actual men that can get pregnant in favour of the idea of them, because the first one has agency, and the second one has no agency (because he exists in their head). To people like that, pregnant men = blorbos jokingly impregnated by defying biology, or blorbos in omegaverse AUs, not the living, breathing trans and intersex men. They imagine pregnant men for many reasons: as a sexual fantasy, to make a joke, to declaw and tame them, but never to actually consider what it's like for real life men with uteruses. Pregnancy is just another situation they can put their blorbos in, not a real thing some men go through. So there's no space in their minds for the discrimination we face in gynecological and prenatal care, or the fear of being forcibly impregnated as a way to detransition us. Pregnant men are theoretical to them, just like catboys, so they get annoyed when we remind them that we exist and shoo us away claiming they're not talking about us.
bolcked. unfallowed.

I think one of the most damaging ideologies towards children is the conviction that having children isn’t a calling but a moral obligation.
Not to be a crazy radical or anything, but children deserve to be deeply wanted by their parents.
Children shouldn’t be a “stage” in life that everyone is obligated to fulfill; childrearing is not for everyone. More importantly, children shouldn’t be state-enforced punishments for “irresponsible” sexual behavior.
Children are people with thoughts and feelings just like the rest of us. They are conscious of the way people treat them. And they can certainly tell when they are unwanted and/or resented.
[ID: tumblr tags. they are: #reblog #i also dont think its enough to want a child. i think you need to want a teenager and an adult too #my mom wanted a baby. when i was too old to pronounce spaghetti wrong and let her put me in church dresses she was done with me #my dad wanted a person. he wanted a baby a child a tween a teen and an adult #my dad wanted to watch a person happen. which was different. /end ID.]
