As a lesbian, I don’t think it’s my place to criticise heterosexual or bisexual women’s relationships to men, just how I don’t like how they criticise lesbians.

It’s simply not my problem if they want to couple with men, they know the risks and the misogyny and do it anyway. They don’t want to be saved.

I learnt this first-hand from my auntie and her partner. She vents to my mum who has been single ever since divorcing my dad and she loves her single life and says she doesn’t want a man in her house (lol) but my mum has given up on her because she won’t ever leave her partner despite him treating her like shit and being a narcissistic alcoholic. So when my auntie wants to vent to my mum about him my mum simply says I don’t have time for this because you won’t ever leave him, and that’s the way it should be. Don’t come crying to other women wanting reassurance when you KNOW deep down you should leave him but don’t have the guts. Don’t make it other people’s problem. My mum is always there for her sister, my auntie has come to stay with us when it’s been bad and she would never not help her but she just doesn’t talk about her sister’s partner because they reach a dead end and she knows my auntie doesn’t want to hear that she should leave him even though everyone around her thinks she should.

As lesbians and female separatists (she doesn’t know the word but it does apply to her) like my mum we shouldn’t have to coddle het women for the problems that THEY put themselves through willingly, we don’t owe them emotional support because THEY DON’T LISTEN. It’s not our problem. Lesbians need to keep out of straight issues.

The way Christians act during tragedies is infuriating. I watched a new documentary that came out on Netflix about the sinking of the Costa Concordia that mainly focused on this obnoxious Christian couple that kept going on and on about how good God is because their family made it to safety, meanwhile 32 people died on this cruise, including a 5-Year-Old girl. In addition to this the documentary ended with these dumbasses bragging about their amazing sex life on the cruise, as if it wasn’t already offensive enough as it was.

We have studies proving that when women compete in “brain activities” against other women they do better.

When I was a kid I got placed into a GEM club: Girls in Engineering and Mathematics. We got to work with CAD software, we got to sit in and work construction equipment, we got to visit factories around our school. This was a program only open to girls because it’s girls that don’t volunteer for these experiences in the presence of boys, because boys mock them.

My teacher didn’t apply for grant funding for these programs because she thought girls were stupid.

She did it because she thought her girls were smart, and she wanted us to have an opportunity to expand our ideas of what a girl could be and do away from the mockery of our male classmates.
