The pronunciation r-edge only makes sense in the context of the other nickname Reggie (r-edg-ie) which is a family nickname and something on Sirius-his brother, James-his partner and Remus who picked it up from Sirius, and regulus stop bothering to correct him because (he is lowkey a second father)

Where as the pronunciation r-egg is something only his friends would say because they know that the nickname Reggie is kinda a sore spot for him. So the “g” sound comes from his name regulus where as the “j” sound in r-edge comes form r-edg-ie.

I hate how being a bad person is now being justified. Like— oh! This person has been through so much in their life, they have so much trauma— I totally see why they became the villain! So valid.

Like yeah, sure, that's his baby brother but thats also actually his baby.

Sirius is the one who remembers Regulus's first word. He saw Regulus's first steps. He taught Regulus to brush his teeth and was always the one to tuck him into bed. He knew the name off all of Regulus's stuffed animals, knew the order they went on the bed in, and knew which was Regulus's favorite.

Like...guys that's his baby and no one can convince me otherwise.

Ok for all who want to know this is the game plan (it’s very vague)

Background: jily dated 2 years were engaged, but it got called off for reason I haven’t thought of yet.

When jily just got together Mary write and released she got a way because she thought her and lily had something.

After the engagement was announced Mary releases good luck babe (a couple months after the engagement announcement) about lily.

Before jily break up they are set to make a single together( and still have to after the break up because of legal stuff)

After jily break up regulus gets outed and if forced to move in with his brother (the both have a big presences in the media) regulus has a shit toon if religious trauma and Sirius has to help in through that while also trying to write his next song. He soon releases ( with permission from regulus) found heaven which is all about Sirius helping regulus deal with being gay and religious trauma.

Soon after James and regulus start dating and only tell close friends lily included.

Lily hurt that James moved on before and still trying to work on her feeling with Mary, writes silver spring which she and James have to make and release together, the song is talking about how even though Jane has regulus lily thinks she will always be in the back of James mind.

They release silver springs just after jegulus becomes official in the public

At the same time as that is all happening regulus releases you were mine about his past relationship and the current effects that has on his new relationship and his fear of intimacy

This all leads the public to believe something is going on that jegulus broke up jily had something to do with it

To help with rumours James releases ordinary about jegulus and sung to regulus in the music vid.
